Quick Transmigration: The Cannon Fodder's Comeback in the Era Tales

Chapter 572: Chapter 572: Counterattack of the Original Female Lead 7

”Spreading rumors and making false accusations to harm a female educated youth, no matter which charge, the village chief’s wife should be sentenced to labor reform on the farm.”

”Xia Zhiqing, stop crying. This time Mrs. Quan acted impulsively. She shouldn’t have slandered you. But you also beat her to vent your anger. Let’s just call it even, okay?” the brigade leader said sternly.

The village chief’s wife roared, ”No way! This little bitch beat me like this, why should it be let go? Brigade leader, don’t be swayed just because this little bitch is young and pretty. You’re not involved with her too, are you?”

The brigade leader almost choked with anger, ”What nonsense are you spouting? Can’t you recognize good intentions? You won’t let it go? Fine, then go ahead and let them file a complaint against you at the commune public security bureau. Are you really looking to be sent for reform on the farm?”

”Why should I go for labor reform? It’s clear this little bitch beat me. If anyone should go, it should be her. Brigade leader, I’m a village person. You can’t be biased and help outsiders bully our own people.”

”I’m not bullying anyone.” The brigade leader glared at her fiercely. ”Anyway, today’s situation was started by you. How could you slander a young girl like that? Xia Zhiqing has been in the village for so many years. Everyone knows what kind of person she is, but you went ahead and threw dirt on her anyway. Look at yourself, how old you are, yet you speak without any sense of weight. No wonder Xia Zhiqing was driven mad enough to hit you, so you can’t blame her.”

”Mrs. Quan, what Xia Zhiqing said, is it true? Are all your children fathered by someone else, since none of them look like the village chief?”

”Yes, yes, Mrs. Quan, tell us, I’m dying of curiosity.”

”You... you venomous women, that little bitch is smearing me, are you all just hoping she drives me to death? I’ll fight you all...”

The village chief’s wife lunged at a few village women, scratching and clawing, and soon they were in a scuffle.

The village chief’s wife was famously tough in the village when it came to fighting, but today she was beaten to the ground by an outsider female educated youth, which made her stomach full of anger, now vented on a few onlooking village women unafraid of stirring trouble.

Suddenly, the sound of urgent footsteps rushed into the office.

”Mom...”

Daquan and his siblings charged in, leaping into the fight circle to rescue the village chief’s wife.

”All you people ganging up on my mom, if you’ve got the guts, come at me!” Daquan shouted angrily, swinging his fists at the village women.

”Bah! You bastard! You’re not a Wang family seed for sure. Your temper isn’t like the village chief’s at all. Just look at your face, you don’t resemble him one bit. No one will believe you’re not a bastard.”

The village women were no pushovers either. Even though Daquan landed several punches, his face was scratched and bloody from their nails.

At this moment, several men dashed in from outside.

They were the husbands or sons of these village women.

And villagers drawn by the commotion, here to watch the spectacle.

Seeing Daquan hitting their mothers or wives, they rushed over to pin him down and beat him up, while Daquan’s brothers, unwilling to back down, also jumped in to help.

In just a few breaths, the brigade leader’s office turned into a battleground, fight after fight erupted. The brigade leader shouted angrily for them to stop, but no one listened to him.

His voice was drowned out by the wailing and abusive shouting of the village women.
