Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 1106: Chapter 1140: The Rise of Lin Zifeng

Moreover, the thought of finding a job that matches her standards is nearly impossible, and what infuriates her the most.

She just called a company for consultation, only to find out they’re looking for a toilet cleaning lady, which almost made Liu Ruyan smash her phone. Then she called another company asking if they needed a CEO, and crazily enough, they were looking for someone in public relations.

“What on earth should I do? What should I do?”

This time, she was truly disappointed.

“If you’re willing, you can certainly start from the bottom. At least you can learn more things, and also improve your market analysis. Not everyone is born a CEO. Furthermore, not everyone is born useless. If you’re willing to show persistence and determination, I can totally believe that with your intellect, along with your wisdom, you can surely become a top CEO in this domain.”

Suddenly!

Lin Zifeng’s highly unpleasant voice came from behind.

It scared Liu Ruyan, who jumped off the sofa and hurriedly pulled her nightgown way down.

“Relax, I’m not going to look at you, and honestly, I can’t find anything worth looking at on your body; it’s like an elephant gazing at a pig, absolutely not my aesthetic standard.”

Lin Zifeng walked casually over to the fridge and took out a bottle of Coke.

“Don’t look at me like that. Although my words are somewhat sharp and blunt, the truth is harsh, and you have to accept it; you have to listen.”

“You’re the pig, huh? Who gave you the right to describe me like that? Are you holding a grudge and intentionally saying this to me?”

Liu Ruyan never had a good impression of Lin Zifeng, and now with his words, she thought he’s not only shameless but a man with a very sharp tongue.

He’s obnoxious enough without speaking so harshly and using such offensive metaphors, it’s just infuriating and annoying.

“This is just a metaphor, you can choose to listen or not. If you don’t want to, just consider it a harmless fart,” Lin Zifeng shrugged indifferently, sitting leisurely on the sofa with the Coke.

This suddenly made Liu Ruyan feel that the world has gone mad, a bodyguard can be so capricious!

“If you really want to find a reliable job in Zhonghai, it’s not that difficult. But you need to lower your high-and-mighty attitude.”

Upon hearing this, Liu Ruyan’s hair practically stood on end.

Lin Zifeng quickly changed his tone: “Perhaps you think your temper is pretty good, of course. Everyone thinks their temperament is good, I could say mine is too. Speaking gracefully and looking handsome, would you believe it?”

Liu Ruyan shook her head vigorously.

Lin Zifeng nodded in agreement: “See, when I humbly praise myself, you don’t believe it. So when you think your temper is good, how can anyone else believe it?” Lin Zifeng made comparisons one by one.

Of course, his good looks are undeniable.

“What, what kind of nonsense are you saying? Is this how you praise yourself? Isn’t there supposed to be a limit to narcissism?”

Liu Ruyan was most unhappy hearing his speech.

“That’s why you feel it crosses your line, but it doesn’t mean it’s my limit. I still think my level is quite okay,” Lin Zifeng smirked briefly before pulling a serious face, disregarding Liu Ruyan’s pale look, and continued to gulp down the Coke.

“The reason I’m saying so much is not because of my good looks; I’m merely using one metaphor to convey a truth. Furthermore, in life, in work, attitude determines everything. Self-esteem is one thing, narcissism is another; they’re not contradictory. But when it comes to work, it’s a different matter. You need a proper attitude, a humble and learning spirit. If you’re willing to give, it won’t take long before you can gather invaluable, non-replicable success experiences in this domain.”

“Why are you saying so much, what are you trying to tell me?” Liu Ruyan was almost unable to endure this annoying guy’s acerbic tone anymore. Continuing to listen, the question wasn’t about controlling her emotions; it was beyond Liu Ruyan’s focus now.

“Alright, since I’ve said so much and you didn’t understand a word, just consider it a stinky fart.” With that, Lin Zifeng was no longer in the mood to chat with her further.

Like playing the piano to a cow, it’s not that the player doesn’t know how to play; the cow simply doesn’t understand.

“Hey! Don’t leave!”

Liu Ruyan’s eyes shifted, and thinking it over in detail, she indeed found some truth in his words.

“Want to continue listening?” Lin Zifeng asked.

“Spare me the nonsense!”

“Then you must be prepared to be ridiculed,”

“Can’t you speak nicely? Why must you be so capricious?”

Liu Ruyan dared to swear that this was the first time in her life she eagerly pursued and questioned a man like this.

In her previous personality, if such a bodyguard dared to be so presumptuous before her, she confidently believed she wouldn’t hesitate to beat him.

“I’ll be brief then. In short: what you’re facing now isn’t choosing a company, but showing your most genuine attitude to let the company choose you. Job applicants, frankly speaking, are cheap as prostitutes… only moving between different domains and companies, then spreading their legs, allowing all the companies to practice… on you.”

After speaking, Lin Zifeng turned and left…
