Chapter 1004: Chapter 1033: Competing to See Who Can Drink More

“Why is he sitting there drinking alone? There’s so much beauty here. This guy is so strange,”

“That’s because you guys are too young and don’t appeal to him. My uncle doesn’t like young girls.”

Tangtang glanced at her chest with disdain.

This made Yunyun a bit upset; she might be young, but the goods in front of her chest were still sufficient.

“Tsk, young? You’re not much older than me either.”

Yunyun said with a pout.

“Tangtang, it’s our first meeting, let’s have a couple of drinks.”

“My uncle doesn’t let me drink. He says girls shouldn’t drink; drinking leads to trouble.”

“Isn’t your uncle nearby? Just two drinks won’t matter, come on, come on, it’s just two drinks, won’t kill you. Besides, he’s here, if anything happens, he can take you away.”

“No, no. It’s not possible. My uncle said girls shouldn’t drink, it’s bad for their image, and it’s even worse if they get drunk.” Tangtang repeatedly refused.

“Tangtang, we’ve met in the vast sea of people and managed to see each other again, you won’t deny me this, will you?”

As she spoke, Yunyun pretended to be angry.

“Alright then, I’ll just drink a little, okay? I’m not good at drinking.” Tangtang blinked her innocent big eyes.

She had no choice but to pick up the glass, clink it with a smiling Yunyun, and take a tiny sip.

“Just that much? You’re being too disrespectful. I’ve already finished my glass. These are just cocktails, they have low alcohol content, even if you drink a bit more, it’s okay.” Yunyun continued to encourage her.

Her fervor made it hard for Tangtang to refuse, so she furrowed her cute brow and drank the entire glass of cocktail.

And all of this didn’t escape Lin Zifeng’s eyes.

Before coming, he had warned Tangtang not to drink, now she wasn’t keeping her promise. It means he was right to come tonight, otherwise, there would be trouble.

Who would’ve imagined that such a drinking behavior would emerge so quickly.

“Wow! This young lady is really good at drinking! First meeting, let me toast the lady,”

At this moment, one of the two guys who had followed Yunyun stepped forward to toast Tangtang.

To be honest, the first time Lin Zifeng saw this guy, he found him particularly annoying, feeling like he was the type who deserves a punch.

“No, no, I can’t drink anymore. I can’t drink that much.” Tangtang quickly waved her hand, trying to refuse their toast, knowing that if she accepted, more would follow, and she’d be unable to finish.

If she drank too much and made a fool of herself, her uncle would definitely scold her; she was able to come tonight only by pleading with her uncle.

“It’s just one drink, after all, we rarely get together, it’s natural to be happy and excited. Tangtang, it’s just one drink, what’s the big deal? Go on, drink with Gou Shao.”

Yunyun interjected. The guy with the spiky hair was called Gou Wei, also known as Gou Shao.

“I, I really can’t drink.” Tangtang, forced into a corner, had small tears welling up in her eyes, ready to fall any moment.

“Young lady, you should realize that drinking has absolute benefits for you.” Gou Shao held a glass, swaggering up to Tangtang.

Leaning close to Tangtang’s ear, he said, “Miss, I’m being so polite, you have to save my face. Look, everyone’s watching; you can’t let me embarrass myself.”

“She can’t drink!”

Just as Tangtang glanced at Lin Zifeng, he suddenly stood up.

“Who are you?”

Gou Shao frowned, having no liking towards Lin Zifeng.

“Who I am isn’t important, what’s important is she’s my friend. Forcing my friend to drink seems wrong, doesn’t it? Have you asked my permission?” Lin Zifeng approached with a smile.

“Ha! She’s friends with Yunyun, which makes her my friend too. Since we’re all friends, why can’t I invite her for a drink?”

He was persistent and arrogant, reaching out to pull Tangtang in front of Lin Zifeng.

Tangtang quickly leaned towards Lin Zifeng.

This left Gou Wei thwarted, and with the alcohol making him bold, he wanted to lash out, but the other spiky-haired guy by his side calmed him down.

“If she can’t drink, surely you can?”

Suddenly, Gou Wei boldly challenged Lin Zifeng, which amused Lin Zifeng.

“Are you sure you want to drink with me?” Lin Zifeng blinked at him.

Of all people to challenge to a drink, Gou Wei chose Lin Zifeng, which was his biggest mistake.

“Of course! Do you think Gou Shao jokes?”

The opponent shouted.

Well then, Lin Zifeng certainly wasn’t going to idle.

“Alright, you set the drinking rules.” Lin Zifeng spread his arms and shrugged.

“How much can you drink?”

Yunyun tentatively asked.

Lin Zifeng raised an index finger.

“Just a glass?” Everyone was slightly surprised looking at him.

Lin Zifeng shook his head, saying nothing.

“A bottle?” Yunyun speculated again.

Lin Zifeng shook his head once more.

“A case?”

“Keep drinking!” Lin Zifeng seriously replied.

“…”

Everyone was taken aback, but couldn’t help but chuckle. Keep drinking? That was some bold boasting.

“Alright then, bring on the drinks!”

A few guys also joined in for the fun. They knew Gou Wei could drink a lot, and now someone was boasting about endless drinking; they were eager to watch.

“Bang, bang, bang…”

A total of five cases of beer, plus a few bottles of white liquor and some foreign spirits, were all placed on the table.

Gou Wei pointed to the table with a smile, “Will you start, or should I?”

“I don’t know the game rules; why don’t you explain?” Lin Zifeng said.

“It’s simple, each person chugs five bottles of beer first, then half a bottle of white spirit. How about it? Dare or not? If you can’t, don’t force yourself—I wouldn’t want your stomach to bleed.”

“Oh, okay, you start then.” Lin Zifeng nodded, understanding the game rules.

Though he wasn’t sure how much Gou Wei could drink, to him, these drinks were really insignificant.

“Good! If you can’t finish, you’ll have to take it home!”

Gou Wei, bursting with pride, grabbed two bottles of beer, poured them into a big glass, and drank in front of everyone.

Chugging two bottles of beer wasn’t much, even continuously drinking them wasn’t difficult. The world has lots who can drink, but few can do it endlessly.

After downing two bottles, Gou Shao seemed unfazed.

With others cheering, he stared dominantly at Lin Zifeng, then opened two more bottles, poured them into the glass, and downed them again.

Finally, there was one last bottle of beer. Rather than pouring it into the glass, he lazily drank straight from the bottle.

Five bottles of beer down, almost like it was nothing.

However, there was still half a bottle of white spirit; at this point, Gou Shao’s stomach was somewhat upset from chugging five beers.
