After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1818: Chapter 1822: We’ll... See Each Other Soon

The silenced pistol fired two bullets simultaneously, mercilessly hitting two of the henchmen in the head.

With deft fingers, Roselia put away the gun, stepped forward to catch their falling bodies, and carelessly placed them by the door. The men in the courtyard, hearing the conversation outside, had already walked to the door, puzzled, and pulled it open.

As soon as the door opened, Roselia’s bullet was already coming through.

The henchman who opened the door staggered back two steps, helplessly collapsing in the courtyard, his arm knocking against a small flower pot hanging on a shelf inside the door, which fell to the ground with a crash, shattering.

Another henchman stepped forward, raising his hand to shoot, but Roselia quickly dashed over and kicked his gun away.

Upon hearing the commotion outside, Cheang Xiao’s face changed. He immediately pulled out his gun, ”Quick, upstairs, hide with the madam!”

Huangfu Ruo rushed to carry Qin Wanwan up to the loft, hid in the bathroom, and locked the door.

Cheang Xiao dashed over to the door, shut it tightly, and then pushed the furniture like tables and sofas to barricade the door.

Now, with insufficient manpower at home, he couldn’t risk Luo Xiaoqian and the others’ lives.

Upstairs, Luo Xiaoqian tightly gripped her phone, ”Luo Ke, what exactly do you want?”

Hearing sounds from outside the window, Luo Xiaoqian suddenly stood up, looked out to the courtyard through the window, and saw the fallen henchman by the door, making her heart tighten.

”Don’t worry, they won’t harm you; we’ll... meet later!” Luo Ke laughed and hung up the phone.

Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t bother with his call, hurriedly rushed to the table, grabbed her handbag, and pulled out the gun inside. At this moment, Huangfu Ruo had also brought Qin Wanwan up from upstairs.

”Xiao Qian, hurry, hide!”

Seeing the gun in her hand, Huangfu Ruo was momentarily stunned, ”You...”

Feet rushed on the stairs.

Luo Xiaoqian suddenly moved her phone, seeing it was Cheang Xiao, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Cheang Xiao put down the board over the loft, ”Is there a way to escape from here?!”

”Follow me!” Luo Xiaoqian pushed open the side window and climbed out, holding her gun.

She was very familiar with every corner of the old residence; as long as they climbed out onto the roof from the window, they could get to the rooftop next door.

”Mommy, I’m scared!” Qin Wanwan fearfully clung to Huangfu Ruo’s arm.

”Don’t be scared, Wanwan, mommy’s here. Come, mommy will carry you over.” Huangfu Ruo crouched down, and Cheang Xiao immediately picked up Qin Wanwan, placing her on Huangfu’s back. ”You go first, be careful, I’ll cover the rear.”

Luo Xiaoqian carefully led Huangfu Ruo and Qin Wanwan onto the roof and then crawled over to the neighboring rooftop, then squeezed through the loft window on the other side.

At the neighboring Luo Family Old Residence, Cheang Xiao also climbed out of the window, ruthlessly pulling the trigger at Luo Ke’s men rushing into the courtyard, sparking an immediate battle.

”Quick, let’s leave here first!”

Luo Xiaoqian listened to the sounds of gunfire from next door, her fingers instinctively gripping the gun tighter. Using the faint light coming through the window, she fumbled to open the loft door, carefully leading Huangfu Ruo and Qin Wanwan upstairs, sneaking out through the courtyard door, and escaping towards the small square down the alley.

There was a car in the small square; as long as they got there, they could drive away.

Approaching the small square, Luo Xiaoqian stopped to catch her breath, ”You two wait here for a moment, I’ll go take a look.”

Who knew if Luo Ke had people hiding in the parking lot, they had to be extra cautious.
