After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1812: Chapter 1816: They Won’t Care About Me

”But you’re prettier than any girl I’ve ever seen.”

Obviously, prettier than any girl she’d seen, how could he not be a girl?!

The little girl looked at Luo Jun in front of her with confusion, still somewhat incredulous.

”I’m a boy, and you can’t use ’pretty’ to describe me.” Luo Jun glared at her without much patience, quickly glanced around, and immediately got up from the beach.

He didn’t know where he was, nor did he know if the two people chasing him would come looking again.

He had to find a phone, but who should he call?

At the thought, the little guy felt another wave of heaviness in his heart.

His mom didn’t want him anymore, who else could he call?

His dad?!

But maybe Leng Zimo wasn’t even his dad after all.

His heart was full of depressive emotions.

”Where are you going?” The little girl chased after him as she saw he was leaving.

”None of your business.” Luo Jun said irritably, walking around her and continuing forward.

”Stop!” The little girl urgently grabbed his arm, ”Dad said after almost drowning, you need to go to the hospital, otherwise, you’ll get pneumonia, get a fever, and it could be severe enough to die.”

”If I die, it’s my choice. Don’t care about me.” Luo Jun shook her off with a forceful gesture.

The little girl staggered back a few steps, almost falling, but once again ran over and grabbed his hand, ”No, you must go to the hospital. If you get sick, your mom and dad would surely be very sad...”

Sad?!

By now they wouldn’t care about him, would they?!

At the mention of his parents, Luo Jun’s heart sank further. Once again, he shook off the little girl’s hand.

”They wouldn’t care about me!”

His voice was full of anger and grievance.

Once more, the little girl ran over and grabbed his hand, ”It’s okay, they don’t want you, but Grandpa does. Come home with me; Grandpa will definitely like you.”

”No!”

Luo Jun tried again to shake her off, but her hands held tightly, he couldn’t break free.

Gurgle!

Embarrassingly, his stomach growled.

He had only eaten some breakfast in the morning and hadn’t had lunch. After running such a long distance, he was already starving.

”You’re hungry, aren’t you...” The little girl tugged at his hand, forcefully dragging him toward the shore, and then fished out money from a small pocket on her dress, ”Look, I have over twenty bucks. What do you want to eat? I’ll buy it for you!”

She raised her hand, offering the money to him. In her fair and slender little hand lay a neatly arranged roll of bank notes, the largest denomination being five yuan, with the rest being one yuan or even smaller denominations.

”I’m not hungry!” Luo Jun stubbornly stood his ground on the beach, refusing to go.

For him to eat something bought by a stranger was an unacceptable idea.

”Why don’t you wait here; I’ll buy it for you?” The little girl, noticing his stance, released his hand, ”Wait for me, I’ll be right back. Don’t leave!”

She let go and briskly ran towards the distant residential area.

Watching her depart, Luo Jun immediately turned around and walked in the opposite direction.

The little girl returned carrying a bag of food, and upon seeing Luo Jun walking away, she sped up, caught up to him, and offered the bag in front of him.

”Here!”

”I don’t want it.”

The little girl took out a piece of bread, unwrapped it, and offered it to him.

”You can think of it as borrowing from me for now, and you can pay me back later.”
