Chapter 86: Chapter 86 Resolving Matters

”Are you really Little Feng? Little Feng, you’ve come back?”

Dahu’s mother looked at Xiao Yifeng with an excited expression on her face.

”Dahu, help your aunt inside first,” Xiao Yifeng said to Dahu.

”Okay, Mom, let’s go inside,” Dahu said, looking at his mother.

”But... who are all these people?” Dahu’s mother asked, looking at the group with a mix of fear and concern on her face.

”Auntie, don’t worry, it’s all right, you go inside and rest,” Xiao Yifeng said with a smile.

Then, with Dahu supporting her, the mother walked into the house, while Xiao Yifeng’s eyes flashed coldly as he gazed at the man lying on the ground, his face beaten beyond recognition by Erhu.

”Who sent you here?”

”You... do you know who we are? Brother Qiang won’t let you off,” the man said with fear in his eyes, trying to sound fierce but failing.

Crack!

Xiao Yifeng stepped down, breaking the man’s leg on the spot, causing him to scream in pain.

”So it was that Brother Qiang from before who sent you,” Xiao Yifeng said with a hint of a cold smile, his eyes gleaming with a chilling light.

”Yes... it was Brother Qiang who sent us,” the man screamed in agony.

”Where is he now?”

”He’s... he’s at Blue Sky KTV,” the man said, looking at Xiao Yifeng with fear, his face deathly pale.

At this moment, Erhu said to Xiao Yifeng, ”Boss, I want to go kill that bastard.”

”I’ll go with you,” Xiao Yifeng said, his eyes narrowing, a cold glint flashing through them.

Suddenly, a series of sirens sounded outside, and several police cars stopped outside the yard. A group of police officers rushed in, led by an officer in his thirties. Upon seeing the situation inside the yard, their expressions changed.

”Don’t move!”

The police officers looked at Xiao Yifeng and Erhu, and seeing the man lying at their feet, they drew their guns and aimed at the two men.

”Officers, I think you’re aiming at the wrong people. These people broke in here to attack us; we were merely defending ourselves.”

Xiao Yifeng turned his head and said to the group of police.

”It’s you!”

The leading officer was surprised to see Xiao Yifeng, obviously recognizing him.

”You’re the sidekick of that chesty policewoman, right? How come she’s not with you today?” Xiao Yifeng said indifferently.

”Our captain is investigating a murder case right now. Mr. Xiao, this is...” the officer quickly holstered his gun.

He was well aware of Xiao Yifeng’s identity—that he was the esteemed son-in-law of the Ye Family, not someone they could afford to provoke. Even their captain had no way to deal with this man, and he certainly wasn’t going to make things difficult for himself.

”They’re just a bunch of idiots with nothing better to do, looking for trouble. I dealt with all of them. Take them back with you and investigate thoroughly,” Xiao Yifeng said bluntly.

The officer glanced at the group, and although he felt a bit puzzled, he didn’t ask further questions.

”Summon the ambulances and take them all to the hospital,” the officer said directly.

Soon, a convoy of ambulances arrived and took the injured men to the hospital. The officer made a brief report and then left.

Strictly speaking, Xiao Yifeng’s actions had constituted assault, but given his identity and the fact that this group had provoked the incident first, the officer didn’t take Xiao Yifeng to the police station.

Dahu came out of the house and said to Xiao Yifeng, ”Boss, we owe you one for this time.”

”You’re all my brothers; there’s no need for thanks. Stay home, take good care of Auntie. Erhu and I are going out for a bit.”

”What are you going to do?” Dahu hurriedly asked.

”Settle this matter. Don’t worry; Erhu and I will be fine. Take good care of Auntie.”

Xiao Yifeng said, then left with Erhu.

”Brother Xiao, isn’t it too dangerous for you to go like this?” Fang Siqi asked, her eyes filled with concern.

”Siqi, go to work first. I won’t have any trouble,” Xiao Yifeng said with a smile as he patted Fang Siqi’s head. Then he left with Erhu.

Fang Siqi watched Xiao Yifeng’s retreating back, her small hand clenched tightly, her eyes heavy with worry.

Blue Sky KTV, the largest KTV club in DH District, with five luxurious floors—becomes the busiest place in the district at night. It was also where Brother Qiang hung out.

The owner of the place was Shou Hou, one of the four War Generals under Hei Yao, and Brother Qiang was one of Shou Hou’s subordinates.

At the top floor of Blue Sky KTV, in one of the rooms, Shou Hou, dressed in a leather jacket, sat on a sofa. He was as thin as a monkey, his eyes occasionally flickering with cunning light.

Two women stood behind him, massaging his shoulders, while a man stood in front of him—the same guy who appeared in the shanty town known as Brother Qiang.

”Qiangzi, based on what you said, these two are indeed talented. If they could work for me, they might add some strength,” Shou Hou said, his expression focused.

”Right, these two guys are very robust. If we can win them over, they would definitely be two great generals. I’ve sent people to capture them; later you can see for yourself, Boss,” Qiangzi said, bowing and with a servile look on his face.

Meanwhile, outside the KTV, Xiao Yifeng parked the Aston Martin and stepped out with Erhu.

With his senses activated, Xiao Yifeng grasped the situation inside the KTV instantly and spotted the so-called Brother Qiang. A cold smile crept across his face, and he walked inside with Erhu.

Since it was daytime, apart from some staff and security, there weren’t many customers in the KTV. They were somewhat surprised to see Xiao Yifeng and his companion enter.

”Gentlemen, may I help you?” a staff member approached and asked.

”Get your boss out here,” Xiao Yifeng demanded coldly.

”Kid, who the hell are you to summon our boss?” said a man sitting in a chair, drinking and with a full beard, glaring at Xiao Yifeng.

”If he doesn’t come out, I’ll level this place,” Xiao Yifeng declared with overwhelming dominance.

In an instant, all the guards in the KTV sharpened their gaze, their faces revealing surprise, all looking at Xiao Yifeng as they picked up their weapons.

The bearded man set down his glass and stood up, approaching Xiao Yifeng with a physique even more robust than Erhu’s, and with a disdainful look said, ”Kid, did you forget to take your meds, or is your head messed up? Daring to talk like that here—do you know who we are?”
