“Manager, my massage technique is pretty good, how about I give you a special one?” Xiao Yifeng boldly suggested.

Qiu Yuying’s eyes widened, her expression a mix of shyness and embarrassment, as she quickly replied, “That won’t be necessary, I already feel much better; you may go now.”

“Manager, are you sure you don’t want to try it?

It’s really quite nice,” Xiao Yifeng persisted.

“Xiao Yifeng, get back to work right now,” Qiu Yuying said sternly, her face hardening.

Xiao Yifeng could only leave with reluctance, but as he reached the door, he still turned to Qiu Yuying and asked:

“Manager, are you really not considering it?”

“Get out!”

A document flew directly towards him; Xiao Yifeng dodged and then left the office.

Qiu Yuying’s cheeks were flushed, and she felt a bit of mortification, thinking to herself, what was that guy talking about?

Soon after, Qiu Yuying’s phone rang, and upon answering, she said, “Mom, what’s up?”

“What?

Blind date?

How is that possible, I’m not in a hurry to find a boyfriend.”

“Alright, alright, I know, I’ll take care of it.”

After hanging up the phone, Qiu Yuying frowned and looked pensive, her face filled with worry.

“Did you guys know?

Shareholder Hu’s son, Hu Jie, is back.”

“Of course, we do, and I’ve seen him too.

He’s so handsome, and I heard he became quite the celebrity on Wall Street in M Country over the past few years, an absolute returned elite.”

The female employees in the sales department gathered together, chatting, each with a look of infatuation when mentioning Hu Jie.

“Stop daydreaming, everyone.

Hu Jie received high salary offers from many international corporations abroad but turned them all down to return here and join Ye Corporation.

Don’t you all know why?” one of the girls couldn’t help but interject.

“I’ve heard Hu Jie seems to like our president and he joined Ye Corporation specifically to pursue her.”

“But doesn’t the president already have a fiancé?”

“However, it seems the president isn’t fond of her fiancé.

Otherwise, the president’s fiancé wouldn’t be working as an ordinary employee in our sales department.”

While several female employees were discussing fervently, Xiao Yifeng happened to pass by and overheard every single word; a sly smile crept across his lips.

“Another rival in love, interesting,” Xiao Yifeng muttered to himself, his eyes filled with intrigue.

At noon, inside Ye Corporation’s cafeteria.

Xiao Yifeng, Hong Mei, and Fang Siqi were eating together when suddenly everyone’s gaze in the canteen shot towards the entrance.

To their surprise, Ye Yaxin and Qiu Yuying appeared there, each carrying their tray of food.

It was known that these two beauties of Ye Corporation seldom dined in the cafeteria, and their unexpected presence today caused quite a stir among the employees, who dared not make too much noise.

Xiao Yifeng and his two companions also noticed the two goddess-level beauties slowly approaching.

Though Xiao Yifeng and Hong Mei remained quite calm, Fang Siqi appeared a bit nervous upon seeing Ye Yaxin.

Ye Yaxin also noticed Xiao Yifeng and the others but said nothing, choosing to sit down near a window with Qiu Yuying and start their meal.

“Your fiancée is here, aren’t you going to join her?” Hong Mei asked with a coquettish smile, looking at Xiao Yifeng.

“No need, I think I rather enjoy eating here with you two,” Xiao Yifeng replied with a shrug.

Just then, another man strolled into the cafeteria, again drawing the attention of many.

This man was wearing a suit of Italian custom-made clothing, appeared to be in his late twenties, with deep, expressive eyes and a tall, straight nose paired with sensual lips, which together formed an exceptionally handsome face.

His tall, sturdy figure filled out the handmade suit perfectly, oozing British style, and his radiant, warm smile could very likely be the downfall of women from their teens to their thirties.

As this man walked into the cafeteria, many of the female employees’ eyes grew dreamy; the stars in their eyes sparkled, completely focused on him.

“Who’s this guy, showing off like that?”

Xiao Yifeng glanced at the man he found pretentious and felt a tinge of dissatisfaction.

Damn it, this guy was even more pretentious than him.

Seeing all the female employees with their starry-eyed expressions, Xiao Yifeng felt a pang in his heart.

Had the taste of women these days really become so poor, or had they simply failed to notice such a handsome guy like himself?

“Him?

Consider him a rival in love,” Hong Mei said, her lips curling into a mischievous smile.

“A rival in love?” Xiao Yifeng was taken aback.

“Don’t tell me he’s that Hu Jie.”

“It seems you’re already aware.

That’s right, he’s Hu Jie, the son of our company’s third-largest shareholder, Hu Mingrui, who has just returned from M Country,” Hong Mei said plainly.

“He’s not that impressive, is he?

He’s not taller than me, nor more handsome or charismatic than me, and most importantly, he doesn’t have my stamina,” Xiao Yifeng scoffed.

With a snort, both Fang Siqi and Hong Mei burst into laughter, with the latter saying to Xiao Yifeng, “But he’s a double Ph.D.

in Economics and Management from M Country, a Wall Street prodigy, a business elite courted by many major international corporations.

Can you compare with that?”

“What of it?

My wife is still the president of Ye Corporation,” Xiao Yifeng replied nonchalantly.

At that moment, Hu Jie had already approached Ye Yaxin, leaned in slightly, and said, “Ya Xin, as the president of Ye Corporation, you shouldn’t be eating in the cafeteria.

I’ve already booked a table at the biggest restaurant in Tianhai City.

Would you honor me with your company?”

“I’m sorry, Hu Jie, within the company, please refer to me as president.

Moreover, I have matters to attend to this afternoon; eating here will be just fine,” Ye Yaxin said indifferently.

Hu Jie’s face still wore a gentlemanly smile as he replied, “We’ve been friends for many years, and now that I’ve just returned, shouldn’t you at least welcome me back properly?

Please don’t reject my kind intentions.”

Ye Yaxin frowned slightly, her gaze flickering.

“Darling, since he wants to treat you to a meal, you might as well go.

Besides, I haven’t had my fill either; we can eat some more together.”
