66: Chapter 66: I Want You to Be My Boyfriend 66: Chapter 66: I Want You to Be My Boyfriend Su Yan sensed a burning gaze on her back and immediately her brows furrowed, unconsciously quickening her pace, eager to get away from this guy.

But Su Yan had forgotten she was wearing sky-high heels.

As she sped up, suddenly she lost her balance, her shoe wobbled, and her whole body involuntarily toppled to one side.

Just as she was about to hit the ground, Su Yan’s eyes hardened, ready to take action when suddenly she felt herself being engulfed in someone’s arms.

Looking over, she saw Xiao Yifeng’s squinting, smiling eyes—clearly, it was Xiao Yifeng who had caught her in time.

“Secretary Su, how could you be so careless when walking?

If you’re wearing high heels, you shouldn’t walk so fast.

What if you had fallen and hurt yourself?” Xiao Yifeng said with a sleazy tone.

“By the way, Secretary Su, what’s this here, so soft?” Xiao Yifeng curled his lips, feeling his left hand grabbing something soft, and he pinched it, instantly making Su Yan’s face turn red, as she let out a light grunt and then glared at him as if she was about to spew fire from her eyes.

Xiao Yifeng’s gaze followed to where his hand had landed, realizing it was on Su Yan’s prominent peak—no wonder it felt so soft.

“Bastard, let go of your dog paw!” Su Yan barked through clenched teeth.

“Oh,” Xiao Yifeng nodded awkwardly and immediately let go, resulting in Su Yan tumbling to the ground with a thud, showing a trace of pain on her face.

“Secretary Su, it was you who asked me to let go, you can’t blame me,” Xiao Yifeng said with an innocent look as he gazed at her.

Bitting her lip, Su Yan shot Xiao Yifeng a fierce glance, got up, and rubbed her bottom before quickly stepping into the elevator.

As Xiao Yifeng was about to follow in, Su Yan coldly stated, “The elevator is overweight; you take another one.”

Looking at the sparse few people inside the elevator, Xiao Yifeng showed a bitter smile.

It seemed Secretary Su was holding a grudge against him.

“Damned guy, just wait, I definitely won’t let you off,” Su Yan muttered internally, filled with resentment.

Just as he had arrived at the sales department, Qiu Yuying’s figure appeared in front of Xiao Yifeng, giving him a glance.

“You’ve arrived just in time, come to my office.”

Following Qiu Yuying into her office, Xiao Yifeng sat down across from her, with a leg propped up, and said, “Manager Qiu, what do you need me for?

Is it another massage?

I’m quite happy to oblige.”

“No thanks,” Qiu Yuying shook her head, her gaze fixed on Xiao Yifeng with a complicated expression filled with conflict, hesitation, and a touch of reluctance, her features changing continuously.

“Manager Qiu, although due to my handsomeness, girls often can’t help but stare at me, if you keep looking at me like that, I might blush,” Xiao Yifeng said with a bashful look, which immediately induced a retching sound from Qiu Yuying.

“Eh, Manager Qiu, are you pregnant?

Could it be that just looking at me can get a woman pregnant?

That would be awesome,” said Xiao Yifeng with a look of utter surprise.

Hearing Xiao Yifeng’s ridiculous words and seeing his nonsensical demeanor, Qiu Yuying couldn’t help but regret the decision she had in mind, but there was no better candidate.

Oh well, if it’s doomed, so be it.

“I want you to be my boyfriend.”

“Pfft…

cough cough…”

At that moment, Xiao Yifeng had been sipping tea from the cup on the desk, and with Qiu Yuying’s sudden declaration, he spat out the water he had just sipped and choked.

“That’s my tea cup, you…” Watching Xiao Yifeng drinking from her tea cup, Qiu Yuying’s face shifted, her eyes flashing with annoyance.

“*cough*…What did you just say?

I didn’t quite catch that.” Xiao Yifeng’s eyes gazed at Qiu Yuying as he spoke.

“I want you to be my boyfriend,” Qiu Yuying declared furiously.

But as soon as she finished saying this, she felt that something was off.

With a strange look on his face, Xiao Yifeng sighed, “It seems my face is just too handsome; it makes so many women fall helplessly in love with me.”

Then, looking at Qiu Yuying with deep affection, Xiao Yifeng said, “Yuying, I love you too, and I do want you to be my girlfriend, but unfortunately, I already have a fiancée, and she is both your boss and a good sister to you.”

“I can’t ruin your sisterly bond, so here’s what we can do: if you truly like me, we can date secretly.

I won’t let Ya Xin find out, until the day she accepts you.”

At that moment, Qiu Yuying was dumbfounded by Xiao Yifeng’s speech and took a while to come back to her senses.

“I had no idea you’d confess to me today.

Come on, as a thank-you for your confession, let’s kiss.” As Xiao Yifeng spoke, he got up and walked towards Qiu Yuying, his lips immediately pressing against hers.

“Get away from me!”

Qiu Yuying finally snapped back to reality and hurriedly pushed Xiao Yifeng away, her face flushed with rage, her chest heaving, and the sizable peaks seemingly ready to burst out of her white shirt.

“You damned fool, what are you blabbering on about!”

“Weren’t you confessing to me?” Xiao Yifeng looked at Qiu Yuying with a puzzled face.

“Pfft, who’s confessing to you?

Just look at yourself.

Only Ya Xin could accept you as her fiancé; I definitely couldn’t,” Qiu Yuying retorted disdainfully, her face full of loathing as she eyed Xiao Yifeng.

“So what did you mean just now?” Xiao Yifeng was a bit confused, wondering what this woman was up to and whether she was messing with him.

Qiu Yuying massaged her forehead and said, “I meant for you to pretend to be my boyfriend.”

“Pretend boyfriend?

What’s this all about?”

“My parents have arranged a blind date for me, and I’m supposed to meet the guy tomorrow.

I don’t want to go on a blind date, but I can’t refuse either, so after thinking about it for a long time, I figured that having someone pretend to be my boyfriend would be the best way to scare off the match and be done with it,” Qiu Yuying explained casually.

“So, you thought of me,” Xiao Yifeng said, looking at Qiu Yuying involuntarily.

“I don’t have many male friends, and if I asked someone else, what if they got clingy afterwards?

That’s why you’re the best choice, I feel safe with you.”

Xiao Yifeng was surprised: “Why?”

“Because your fiancée is Ya Xin.

If you dare try something with me, I’ll tell Ya Xin right away, and then you’ll be in for it,” Qiu Yuying revealed with a sly smile.

“You sure are devious.

What if I refuse?

Are you also going to approach your good sister?”

Qiu Yuying smiled and nodded, “You’re smart, which is why you have to agree to this.

Pretend to be my boyfriend tomorrow, help me get rid of the guy I’m supposed to meet for my arranged date.

If you complete this task, no problem, if not, I’ll make sure you know how tough I can be.”
