The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

”Lord Nezha, my senior sister was startled and injured, we need to hurry back,” Tianmiao said politely.

”Oh, yes, yes, go ahead,” Nezha nodded, stepping aside.

The Jade Rabbit originally wanted to jump directly from Chang’e’s arms to find Yi Lan and the others, but Chang’e gently held her back: ”At this moment, it’s better to let them take it slow first. You can go to them later.”

The Jade Rabbit stopped her movement to jump down, and snuggled in Chang’e’s arms without moving.

”I’m sorry I couldn’t help today,” Chang’e whispered again, ”I know you don’t like me. You hate my self-pity, and you hate my self-admiration, but I’ve always liked you. I’ll try to change, but it might take some time. Could you give me some time?”

The Jade Rabbit shook her ears, was silent for a while, and finally snorted, ”It can’t take too long.”

”Okay, I’ll do my best,” Chang’e smiled when she heard the Jade Rabbit’s words, nodded gently, and took the Jade Rabbit back to the Guanghan Palace.

Nezha pulled Sun Wukong’s arm: ”Come on, let’s go drink.”

”Erlang God, let’s go,” Sun Wukong nodded and called to Erlang God.

”Coming,” Erlang God replied, then looked down at the Howling Celestial Dog still gazing in the direction where Tianmiao and the others disappeared, ”We’ll visit them in a few days. After such an event, let them have some time to themselves first.”

”Yes, I know. I just can’t help but worry,” the Howling Celestial Dog still hadn’t withdrawn his gaze.

”Don’t worry. Your friend there is something else,” Erlang God smiled, ”I’ve never seen anyone escape from the Queen Mother’s grasp. Even...” Erlang God suddenly fell silent at this point. Even his mother, Yao Ji, the Jade Emperor’s own sister, couldn’t escape that fate. Thinking of his mother’s soul scattering, Erlang God’s eyes dimmed a bit.

”Alright, don’t dwell on the past, let’s go drink! Not coming back till we’re drunk,” Nezha and Sun Wukong arrived beside Erlang God at this time. Hearing Erlang God’s words, they guessed what he was thinking of and both started to comfort him.

”Show that spirit you had when you fought with me, see who stays strong till the end today,” Sun Wukong patted Erlang God on the shoulder.

”Isn’t your Zixia Fairy going to beat you up?” Erlang God glanced at Sun Wukong, saying with a chilly tone.

”Not today, such big things happened in the court. Besides, I’ll explain to her, I’m drinking with you to comfort a sobbing Erlang God; a drink to forget a thousand sorrows. Not only will she not blame me, but she’ll also probably say I did well,” Sun Wukong grinned widely.

”Shameless!” Erlang God snorted coldly but then laughed, ”Alright, today we won’t stop until we’re drunk.”

Bai He, the Immortal of Hundred Flowers, glanced at the backs of the departing group, gritted her teeth silently, and headed back to her Hundred Flowers Palace. From now on, she would have to accept the punishment for poor management — house arrest. Although three years pass quickly for these celestial beings, she just couldn’t swallow this. Why was the Bai He Immortal ultimately stripped of her Immortal Bone and sent down to the Mortal World, while Yi Lan got away without consequences and even received compensation! This was unprecedented. Why?!

...

The Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother walked slowly back to the sleeping palace, and the Queen Mother looked at the fan in her hand, fanning it occasionally as they walked.

”Can’t you walk any faster?” The Jade Emperor turned with mild irritation to the Queen Mother and glanced at the fan in her hand.
