The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

Chapter 467: Chapter 30: Sunflower Facing the Apocalypse

After parting with Senior Chen, Zhou Shiqiu said with a disgusted look on her face, ”I feel like I stepped in dog poop before.”

”Huh?” The staff leading the way and Zhang Qiang both looked puzzled, not understanding what Zhou Shiqiu was talking about.

Xu Yuxi understood, but she didn’t give it away; she just smiled, ”Now you recognize it’s dog poop, it’s better to go around it in the future.”

”Mm.” Zhou Shiqiu nodded.

Senior Chen stood in place watching Zhou Shiqiu and Xu Yuxi walk away, frowned, and muttered to himself, ”Are they also superpower users? Or is it the kid behind them who’s a superpower user, and they belong to that kind of...”

”What’s that, what are you looking at? Isn’t it great to have us?” The woman on Chen’s left side teased.

”Yeah, Brother Chen, you said you’d take us to buy jewelry, let’s go.” The woman on Chen’s right side also said coyly.

”Alright, alright, let’s go.” Senior Chen said in a doting tone. In this world, those luxury items that used to be unattainable for him are now very cheap to buy, making it very cost-effective to charm people. He is a superpower user; the resources the base gives him daily and the extra pay he earns from going out on missions are enough for him to live well and maintain two beautiful women to warm his bed. The feeling of having women on both sides was something he could only fantasize about before, but now it has become reality. Senior Chen feels this is truly his real life.

Xu Yuxi, Zhou Shiqiu, and the other person were assigned three adjacent rooms on the same floor. This made all three very happy; staying close together felt like having backup, which was really nice.

”Every morning at seven thirty, there will be a car waiting downstairs to take you to the main building for gathering. Tomorrow, first report there, where you’ll be grouped, and then there are task executions from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, you can rest, or you may choose to execute tasks to earn supplies if you want to. It’s only a single day off, very sorry.” The staff explained after escorting them to the door, handed them keys, and apologized after finishing the explanation.

”This treatment is already excellent. At such a crisis moment, there’s still time to rest.” Xu Yuxi said with a smile.

”Thank you for understanding.” The staff’s good impression of Xu Yuxi and her group climbed once again. These young people seem to be very considerate and sensible.

After the staff left, the three of them entered their own rooms.

Xu Yuxi entered and looked around, feeling very satisfied with the small apartment. Although the room was not large, it was fully equipped with a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and even a small balcony, utilizing all the space efficiently.

Xu Yuxi asked Xiaolu about the use of Spiritual Ability.

”It’s incredibly useful!” Xiaolu explained excitedly, ”Now, Spiritual Ability seems weak because ordinary zombies are basically not fit to be its opponents. Zombies will upgrade, and when they gain their own consciousness, Spiritual Superpower Users can attack zombies, even control them. Also, Spiritual Superpower Users can attack other superpower users, making them very hard to defend against. Spiritual Superpower Users are the true rulers. They are extremely rare, but once they grow strong, they become quite remarkable. Moreover, Spiritual Ability can sense the position of living beings and so forth, which is very impressive.”

”Is it that powerful?” Xu Yuxi exclaimed, her expression suddenly changed, ”Wait, Xiaolu, what did you just say? Zombies will upgrade?”

”Yes. Your superpowers will upgrade, so of course, zombies will too. But not yet, the apocalypse has just started over a month ago, right? It’s still early.” Xiaolu nodded.

Xu Yuxi frowned, this information was very important. How should she report it up? She needs to find the right opportunity, the right reason. Otherwise, it could cause her and Xiaolu considerable trouble.
