Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1446: Chapter 1445: We’re Going to Start Learning Shooting

”Ring ring ring—”

The class bell rang.

Right on time, the elective class’s classroom was already fully occupied.

Dean Huang Zhizhong sat in the first row, realizing that Sheng Yiweng was not exaggerating; if this pattern continued, there would indeed be no seat left in the elective class’s classroom.

Students entered the classroom one after another. It wasn’t hard for them to notice Dean Huang Zhizhong seated in the front row, and they all politely nodded to him before sitting down in the class. Their expressions were serious and attentive, but they appeared energetic and particularly disciplined, making this class considerably different from others.

Gu Tong stood at the front podium. This time, she was beside the microphone at the front of the podium, fearing the students at the back wouldn’t hear her. She said, ”As mentioned in the previous lesson, today we will begin learning shooting. Our time is limited this class, so I’ll keep it brief to ensure that everyone gets a chance to handle the equipment.”

The elective class students all agreed, clearly very excited, and said, ”Okay.” They were eager to handle the equipment quickly. Of course, before starting, there was some preparation work needed, which was to listen to Gu Tong’s lecture.

Gu Tong continued, ”In the front row, there are protective gears laid out. There are a total of six sets. While the first three students are shooting in front, the next three will be preparing to wear the protective gear. To save time, student Sheng Yiweng will assist you in putting them on. After the first three finish shooting, pass the gear to the students behind you. Let’s start lining up according to student numbers.”

Starting now?

The students widened their eyes.

Gu Tong added, ”While you’re getting dressed, listen to me talk. We can save more time.”

The elective class students happily and unanimously said, ”Sure, no problem.”

”Teacher Gu Tong is the best.”

They weren’t in disarray at all, standing in front very orderly. Sheng Yiweng, positioned at the very front, was responsible for helping them put on the protective gear and verbally instructing them on how to wear the equipment, allowing them to pass on the knowledge to the students behind them.

...

The elective class commenced in an orderly fashion.

Gu Tong calmly said, ”There are many rules for shooting. Beginners often find it difficult to control the equipment. However, don’t rush; even if you can’t hit the bullseye, it’s alright. First, you need to master the technique of handling the equipment. It’s important to control your breathing, but during aiming and shooting, try not to breathe too much, as breathing can cause the equipment to shake, affecting balance. Of course, many experienced shooters at the Academy can maintain even breathing while shooting.”

The elective class students listened attentively, even starting to adjust their breathing while listening to Gu Tong’s explanation. They engaged deeply in the breathing practice.

Gu Tong continued, ”Next is solid shoulder placement. Commonly, people in Longxing Country are not very tall. As a shooter, if your height is below 1.75 meters, you might encounter shoulder-to-equipment butt placement issues. So, when shouldering, relax your shoulders and use your hand to guide the equipment to your shoulder for a solid placement. Today, we’re learning laser shooting, so shoulder placement isn’t necessary for now, but you’ll need it later on; remember it well.

It follows that taller individuals have the advantage. We don’t have to extend our arms too straight like them; we can have ample bent-arm positioning. Maintain the alignment between the front sight and rear sight, ensuring the top planes of the front sight and rear sight form a straight line. Attention is also needed to center the front sight on the inside of the rear sight, making sure the distances on both sides of the front sight from the rear sight’s walls are equal.”

Gu Tong’s lecture was incredibly detailed, akin to the lessons given to the shooting team at the training Academy.

Nonetheless, she adopted this training method for this group of students.
