Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1437: Chapter 1436: Just Sitting There, Quite Leisurely

What do you usually teach in class? This really stumped Gu Tong.

Gu Tong thought for a moment and said, ”Usually, just basic training—running in circles, improving physical fitness. I just hang around there, quite leisurely.”

Running in circles...

Are you sure you’re teaching students from the Medical College?

A certain assistant teacher’s eyes looked somewhat peculiar and asked, ”Isn’t there any proper curriculum?”

Proper?

Gu Tong blinked and said, ”Yes, there’s theoretical knowledge replenishment, but the school worries about me being overworked, so they assigned me an assistant teacher. He’s quite good and takes care of everything, leaving me even more free.”

A certain assistant teacher: ”...” Assistant teacher, isn’t he like this assistant position, responsible for all sorts of odd jobs...

Li Yan raised an eyebrow slightly and asked, ”Male or female?” Previously, he had never heard Gu Tong mention there was an assistant teacher at the school.

Gu Tong picked up some noodles with chopsticks and said, ”Male, a junior from the Royal Medical College, two grades below me. I never met him at the Academy. His teaching level is good, quite responsible. With him at the school, my presence is practically unnecessary.”

A certain assistant teacher: ”...” Madam, praising another man like this, aren’t you afraid the Devil King will get jealous?

Sure enough, Li Yan squinted slightly, scooped a spoonful of wonton, and asked casually, ”Is he better than me at substituting classes?”

Cough, cough.

Gu Tong’s survival instinct kicked in, immediately sensing danger, and she said, ”You’re both good, okay! When he teaches, I do nothing, but when you teach, I’m too captivated by your charm, completely distracted.”

This survival instinct deserves a perfect score.

A certain assistant teacher couldn’t help but secretly give a thumbs up, Madam is strong, eloquent, and persuasive, impressive indeed.

Li Yan smiled contentedly, blew on the wonton, and said, ”If I have free time in the future, I will substitute classes for you.”

A certain assistant teacher: ”...” With Devil King substituting, will those students be able to handle it?

Gu Tong was quite willing and actually pleased to see this, saying, ”Great~ In the future, if you have time, come to the Academy and teach for me~”

With Li Yan helping out, her life was carefree. Indeed, she was now accustomed to relying on him, inadvertently starting to slack off.

It’s not a very good habit, but she has no desire to change it.

Gu Tong thought again and said, ”Actually, if you don’t have anything today, I want to keep you here. In this class, we teach shooting. The kids in the class have no shooting basics, so they need training from scratch.”

A certain assistant teacher’s eyes widened and said, ”Teaching shooting...”

Madam is instructing medical students, or are they battlefield trainees? How does this relate to a shooting course?

Gu Tong nodded and said, ”Yes, I’m teaching Combat Royal Doctors, so it’s a form of training. I invited a professor from the Boy Scouts group, got some practice lasers for the students to try their hand at. It’s a training method.”

Li Yan chewed on the wonton, swallowed it, and said, ”If you really want to study shooting, just practicing casually like this is far from enough. The basics are still lacking; they need training at the Academy.”

That’s truly the point.

Gu Tong puckered her lips and said, ”During the drill in a while, I’m planning to organize the students into a separate unit for supply, making the drill a bit more challenging. Old Sheng agreed with this, so I need to really give them a crash course now.”

If it weren’t for the upcoming drill, Gu Tong wouldn’t teach a shooting course, mainly worrying about post-event issues.
