Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1441: Chapter 1440: The Dean’s Hands-On Approach

Gu Tong, feeling somewhat embarrassed, said, ”So we can only... ask the Dean to try the equipment personally, to test the shooting and see if it poses any danger. I just wonder if the Dean would be willing...”

Dean Huang Zhizhong almost panicked, desperately wanting to grab the equipment back, and said, ”I’m willing, I’m willing, it’s no trouble, not at all!!!”

He’s been wanting to touch the equipment for days now; if he can seize this chance to indulge, it would be perfect and would fulfill his dream of becoming a special forces trainee.

Huang Zhizhong’s eyes locked onto the equipment, unwilling to look away even for a second, and a strong light reflected in his eyes.

Gu Tong had already guessed Dean Huang Zhizhong’s thoughts and said, ”Then it’s no trouble for the Dean~”

”Alright, alright, come on, let me have it,” Dean Huang Zhizhong stepped forward, already reaching out his hand, eager to hold the equipment and play with it.

Ah, the equipment...

The equipment he’s been dreaming of, finally able to touch it, so happy, it must be fate.

However, just at this moment.

...

’Bang--’ The door of the multifunctional classroom swung open directly.

...

Jiang Lihao and Sheng Yiweng, sweating profusely, rushed into the room.

They had just arrived at school and already heard rumors that Dean Huang Zhizhong was coming to stop Teacher Gu Tong from holding the shooting class. Their hearts skipped a beat when they heard, and without considering consequences, they dashed to the classroom.

Jiang Lihao took a deep breath and said, ”Dean, don’t...” He was anxious to convince the Dean not to stop the class; the students were already eagerly waiting.

Sheng Yiweng was less impulsive and said, ”Dean, I want to talk to you...”

...

Dean Huang Zhizhong’s mouth twitched twice, ”...” Talk what nonsense! Can’t see what time it is!

He’s just touching the equipment, why are they so stingy, trying to stop him.

Dean Huang Zhizhong was almost in tears, glanced back at them without much courtesy, and said, ”What do you want?”

...

Jiang Lihao steadied himself, exhaled a breath, and said, ”I heard the Principal wants to cancel the shooting class... I want to apply to the Principal not to cancel it. The students have waited so long, many came to me in the morning asking when they could have the class, so...”

Sheng Yiweng pursed his lips and said, ”Yes, learning to shoot is only the first step. Canceling this class would not benefit the upcoming elective courses.”

...

Dean Huang Zhizhong: ”...” Where did this rumor come from? Although he indeed initially wanted to stop it, it was purely out of safety concerns for the students. More than that, he wanted to discuss with Teacher Gu Tong. After all, Teacher Gu Tong’s status is clear here; he couldn’t simply barge in and overpower without understanding.

Rumors really are deadly, spreading so fast.

Gu Tong’s mouth twitched twice: ”...” Didn’t expect these two guys to dare directly stop the Dean, they sure have made progress.

Dean Huang Zhizhong didn’t know what to say.

Gu Tong spoke first, ”Those are all rumors, not trustworthy. The Dean is merely concerned about safety issues, so he personally came to test it. If there’s no problem, then it can be included in the teaching. The Dean’s hands-on approach is akin to tasting the herbs, it’s a personal teaching method, how can it be considered a hindrance.”

Jiang Lihao: ”Huh?” What do you mean???

Sheng Yiweng: ”???” Why does this feel different from the rumors?

They were somewhat caught off guard.

Gu Tong had already begun to give them suggestive glances, signaling them to play along.
