Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1348: Chapter 1347: Worthy of a Battle

Hmm, that’s good.

Gu Tong nodded with satisfaction, a smile unconsciously forming at the corner of her mouth. With Sheng Yiweng playing basketball, the odds of victory increased, raising the basketball match’s success rate to sixty percent.

We can fight.

Thinking of this, Gu Tong raised her head and looked straight at Huang Chengyi. Her deep eyes seemed intent on seeing through him. Her lips moved slightly as she said, ”Our assistant teacher is not strong enough to play basketball, so let’s replace him with someone else and have a two-on-eight basketball match.”

She emphasized the words ”two-on-eight” heavily, implying a careless ridicule.

All the students from Internal Medicine Class Two keenly sensed this and couldn’t help but feel a little embarrassed.

Although they didn’t like Gu Tong, the teacher from the Elective Class, there was no need to deal with it this way. Two against eight, what good is it even if they win? Internal Medicine Class Two has more people bullying fewer, which would be disgraceful if word got out.

Gu Tong agreed, but Huang Chengyi was stunned.

Initially, he just wanted to provoke the teacher from the Elective Class to deflate her arrogance and vent for Teacher Ding, then change it to an eight-on-eight friendly basketball match. But he didn’t expect Gu Tong would actually dare to agree, which made him seem a bit too much.

However, with things at this point, Huang Chengyi couldn’t refuse. Otherwise, it would seem that Internal Medicine Class Two was reneging and making things too difficult for Teacher Gu Tong, with excessive demands.

In such a situation, Huang Chengyi couldn’t speak up anymore. After some thought, he gave Hu Bichao a look, his implied meaning incredibly clear.

Hu Bichao immediately understood and said, ”We were just joking; eight against two is a bit unfair, making us look like bullies. How about this, the Elective Class also sends out eight people, and we’ll have a friendly basketball match.”

The whole thing was started by them, saying bullying words, yet also speaking of reconciliation. How could there be such convenient situations in the world?

The students from the Elective Class were all somewhat angry, even starting to prepare themselves at the same time, ready to compete with them seriously.

However, Gu Tong raised her hand to stop the fellow students from the Elective Class, speaking calmly: ”No, the students from the Elective Class are doing classroom exercises and can’t afford to miss the class. Sheng Yiweng and I will join, and it’s still two against eight, no need to change the rules!”

With that, she casually took off her coat, revealing the white T-shirt underneath, and threw the coat on the grass with a nonchalant grace.

Sheng Yiweng also started moving at the same time, taking off his school uniform jacket, revealing the sports shirt underneath, ready to fight at any moment.

Insisting on two against eight, this teacher must be crazy.

The students from Internal Medicine Class Two all frowned, expressing disbelief.

After all, their intent to provoke was clear, to lure Gu Tong out and then beat her fairly. But now, Gu Tong insisted on the conditions they originally put forward, two against eight, even a win wouldn’t be glorious.

Such a situation made the students from Internal Medicine Class Two somewhat irritated. They glared at Huang Chengyi with displeased expressions, blaming him for coming up with lousy ideas.

If it weren’t for his bad suggestions, things wouldn’t have escalated this way. Now, if Internal Medicine Class Two loses, not only would the students look bad, but even Teacher Ding Sidan’s reputation would be tarnished...

However, the deed was done, and they couldn’t change it. Even if victory weren’t honorable, they had to go down to play basketball.
