Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1333: Chapter 1332: This Trick Is a Bit Underhanded...

”Is the assistant teacher sick?”

This question came out of nowhere and seemed rather baffling.

Sheng Yiweng was slightly taken aback and said, ”Huh?”

Sick? What illness? How come he didn’t know about it?

Gu Tong furrowed her brow and said, ”I don’t know what illness, it just feels very strange. When I entered the room just now, the assistant teacher was muttering to himself about hallucinations, dreams, all sorts of things, as if he were reciting poetry.”

”...” Oh, that, now he knew.

This was the assistant teacher’s daily task, routinely reciting ”When Will Teacher Gu Tong Return” a hundred times. This poem was frequently revised and had multiple versions, such as ”Why Not Keep Teacher Gu Tong,” ”Ah, How Foolish I Was That Day,” ”Teacher Gu Tong, Please Teach Once More,” and so on.

The assistant teacher read aloud day and night, becoming quite a scenery. Now a lot of elective course students came not to attend the class or to learn, but just to listen to the assistant teacher recite poems.

Sheng Yiweng was considering how to explain to Gu Tong the new feature of the National Medical College.

Gu Tong spoke first and said, ”I was just thinking about helping him with a diagnosis, but he seemed to shy away from the topic. I wonder if it’s quite serious.”

Sheng Yiweng was a bit confused and said, ”Shy away? How so?”

”I can’t really put it into words, just feels like it’s more serious. I’ll diagnose him later and see if it can be treated.”

After all, he’s someone nearby, and Gu Tong didn’t want to see any trouble with them. She hoped they all stayed healthy.

Serious? Diagnosis?

Sheng Yiweng frowned, beginning to imagine various scenarios, and the most plausible one was perhaps the assistant teacher was feigning a terminal illness to keep Teacher Gu Tong around?

This tactic is a bit underhanded...

But it surely is an effective method!

Sheng Yiweng decided to throw caution to the wind and sold out the assistant teacher, Jiang Lihao, saying, ”That’s right, Teacher, I also think the assistant teacher has a problem!”

Whatever the case, keeping Teacher Gu Tong here was most important.

After all, it’s just a check-up, not a proper diagnosis. At worst, it turns out to be a farce when no illness is diagnosed in the end.

That’s what Sheng Yiweng said...

In Gu Tong’s mind, Sheng Yiweng was a very reliable student.

He always acted methodically, and since he said the same, then it’s probably almost true.

It seemed she really needed to find time to look into the assistant teacher’s condition, better not delay.

Gu Tong suddenly had a rare moment of conscience and said, ”This is also my fault, not being at the Academy for a while, it wore him out.”

Upon hearing this, Sheng Yiweng quickly added, ”Yes, yes, the assistant teacher is indeed hardworking.”

Gu Tong pursed her lips and said, ”He really is a good teacher, in this aspect, I am somewhat lacking.”

”...” Sheng Yiweng dared not respond to this. After all, he lacked the courage.

But if he could speak, he had ten thousand ”Teacher, you’re right,” ”Teacher, you’re indeed unreliable,” ready to say to Gu Tong.

Treating the assistant teacher’s illness wasn’t something that could be done overnight, and this Gu Tong was clearly aware of.

Thinking of this, Gu Tong shifted the topic and said, ”By the way, how are the recent courses going?”

Sheng Yiweng thought for a moment and said, ”Classes are still ongoing, but the lack of practical experience has become the biggest hurdle.”

The three elective subjects mainly focus on training courses related to the Royal Doctor, and in their current situation, there is an extreme lack of practical experience courses.
