Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1347: Chapter 1346: One Against a Whole Class?

Huang Chengyi admitted that Gu Tong’s basketball skills were impressive, and just her move earlier was beyond the reach of many students.

However, being good at shooting doesn’t necessarily mean anything, maybe it was just a fluke, and it definitely wasn’t unbeatable either, so Huang Chengyi deliberately provoked her by irrationally suggesting a one-person-against-a-class challenge.

He wanted to see just how skilled this teacher really was and whether she dared to accept his challenge.

As soon as Huang Chengyi made his suggestion, everyone present thought he went too far.

They believed he was intentionally making things difficult for Teacher Gu Tong; even for a top-notch basketball player, there’s never been such a competition!

As everyone knows, basketball is a team sport, and if many elements are missing, it becomes a one-sided obstruction.

Gu Tong raised an eyebrow, with a mocking smile on her lips, she said, ”One against a whole class?”

Her tone was full of sarcasm, highlighting Huang Chengyi’s shameless behavior.

Using shameful tactics to target your opponent is not the way of a true champion.

Huang Chengyi sensed Gu Tong’s disdain and felt a bit embarrassed, quickly adding, ”I meant a small team match with an assistant teacher, a two-on-eight. With Teacher Gu Tong’s skills, I’m sure she can handle it!”

Not the whole class, but with fewer people, not one-on-eight, also giving Gu Tong more manpower.

It sounds considerate, but in reality, there’s hardly any fairness.

Sheng Yiweng couldn’t hold back anymore, he stepped forward and said, ”Does your Internal Medicine Class Two have any shame, bullying a female teacher and an assistant teacher who can hardly lift a finger, do you think this kind of match is fair? Aren’t you the least bit embarrassed?”

Jiang Lihao: ”...” An assistant teacher who can hardly lift a finger, in the corner, I’ll find a place to cry.

Huang Chengyi’s face darkened, he glanced at Sheng Yiweng and said dismissively, ”I just heard that Teacher Gu Tong is extraordinarily skilled, so I wanted to witness it myself, and since Teacher Gu Tong is going to teach us basketball, how can you show her skills without raising the difficulty level a bit?”

What a sophisticated argument.

Turning black into white, insisting on something unreasonable while pretending it’s all for Gu Tong’s benefit.

Not just Sheng Yiweng, but even the students in the Elective Class, and the sports teacher Lin Wenjue, all felt that Internal Medicine Class Two was disgraceful.

”You!!!” Sheng Yiweng was so angry, he glared, wanting to say something.

However, at that moment, a fair hand rested on his shoulder, and a gentle voice calmly said, ”Actions speak louder than words, don’t argue over trivial matters.”

Gu Tong used a voice only the two of them could hear, more like a form of dissuasion. Her words calmed the previously furious Sheng Yiweng, restoring his composure immediately.

The teacher was right!

A true champion is never defined by words; practice is the only test of truth.

Only by teaching the Internal Medicine Class Two a lesson can they be made to completely shut up.

Gu Tong calmly asked, ”Can you play basketball?”

She had observed Sheng Yiweng’s muscle distribution, and if not mistaken, this kid was also quite trained. If he could play basketball, then this two-on-eight basketball match might not be unwinnable.

Sheng Yiweng was slightly stunned, instinctively replying, ”A little!”
