Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1318: Chapter 1317: Try Hitting Me!

The young delinquent looked at Li Yan, thinking he was overestimating himself, so anger flared up inside him. He stepped forward and said, ”You punk, have you ever been beaten up before? Is your skin itching?”

He had never seen someone so fearless, not only unafraid but also seemingly picking a fight with them.

If the young delinquent didn’t give him a beating now, he would be unable to quell the anger in his heart.

Li Yan remained calm, and said word by word, ”Try hitting me!”

He was a trainee, not one to take the initiative to pick fights, but if the opponent attacked him, then the situation was completely different.

Although, given their current bad behavior, Li Yan didn’t need to make things that complicated; he could strike first, but he still feigned provocation with a comment.

This time, the young delinquent was directly enraged, infuriated beyond control.

Not only him, but the group of delinquents behind him all looked on with hostility, ready to fight, with no one in a good mood.

”Damn it! Still daring to defy! Teach this ungrateful guy a lesson for me!”

The young delinquent swung a club, rushing in with a fierce demeanor, clearly wanting to give him a beating.

Not just him, but the group of people behind the young delinquent also picked up their weapons one after another and rushed forward.

Beat him! Kill this punk!

That almost became the only thought of the group of delinquents as they crowded forward eagerly, little did they know, they were taking the first step into a trap.

...

Not far away, the barbecue shop owner sighed and said, ”Ah, this young guy is really unfortunate, coming to have a meal and encountering such a troublesome situation...”

The diners also felt some sympathy, saying, ”Knowing this group of delinquents are hard to deal with, yet still delivering himself to them, isn’t this looking for a beating? This pair of young ones are really quite impulsive.”

”Heroic acts of saving beauties aren’t that easy to pull off; this time they’ve offended Mei Xin’s gang, there’s nothing good left for them.”

...

Voices around were murmuring in discussion.

Li Yan paid no mind, as if he hadn’t heard at all.

His deep eyes were fixed on the young delinquents, and upon noticing them surging forward, his first action was to lift his hand and push Gu Tong behind him.

Then, he quickly raised his arm, seizing the nearest stick and pulling it hard!

The first young delinquent rushing over spun around on the spot, dumbfounded. He only felt up against a powerful and terrifying force, utterly unstoppable.

His body felt like a kite with a broken string, left at the mercy of others, without any ability to retaliate.

”Ouch...” The stick in his hand slipped out uncontrollably, and he fell to the ground in a disgraceful manner, looking utterly ridiculous.

”Damn it! You still dare to fight back! Beat him!”

Seeing their companion beaten, the delinquents immediately flew into a rage.

They swung their clubs, rushing forward in disarray and chaotic moves.

Li Yan, holding the recently seized stick in one hand, swung it rhythmically, attacking left and right, defending against a flurry of swinging sticks, looking very relaxed and effortless.

’Bang, bang bang--’

After an unknown number of rounds, Li Yan knocked one stick after another out of the young delinquents’ hands.

As the young delinquents stood there empty-handed, somewhat stunned...

Li Yan stepped back, increasing the distance, and raised his hand, holding back his strength, consecutively knocking on the heads of several young delinquents.

”Ouch, ouch, ouch...” Several young delinquents cried out in unison.

They could only feel a lump forming on their heads, and it hurt terribly...
