High School of Demon Hunting

49: Chapter 49 Classmate_1

49 -49 Classmate_1

The wanted list is a list of demon hunting released by the Wizard Alliance targeting demons.

Every demon with a bloody record in the wizard world will be included in this list.

The Wizard Alliance encourages institutions and civil hunting teams to actively hunt the demons on this list.

The reward offered by the league is high, starting with a hundred jade coins for these demons, and there is no upper limit.

No upper limit means there is no cap.

It is said that the rewards listed for age-old demons are calculated by ‘wishes’.

The reward for the sea Demon King is ‘three wishes’.

That is to say, as long as you can capture the Sea Demon King, the Wizard Alliance can fulfill your three wishes.

In addition, if you hunt the demons on the wanted list, the Alliance will also offer a variety of additional benefits.

For example, when hunters face the demons on the wanted list, they can have priority in using powerful spells or experimental spells that have not been reported, without considering the damage these spells do to the world.

This is a huge temptation for wizards who like to experiment with new spells.

Nikita is just a young Witch Demon who has been transformed for less than ten years and is not yet qualified to be on the wanted list.

This is what annoys the suddenly appearing restaurant’s special guards the most.

What is more embarrassing than the special plane being invaded by demons is that the demon invading the special plane is a nameless pawn.

But compared with the angry expressions of these guards, Nikita seemed as excited as if she had discovered a new world.

“I originally planned to take a few little friends away.” The femme fatale looked seductively at these guards, her tone becoming much lighter: “But seeing all you little guys, I’ve realized I can totally escape on my own.”

Running away on your own is of course safer than running away with a burden!

Her slender hand slapped heavily on the hovering law book, and the bloody hexagram array beneath her feet erupted with intense light, spraying countless beams of light.

The law book was burning fiercely, turning into a puff of ash in the blink of an eye and scattering.

The female demon’s figure, like an illusion, disappeared with these distorted lights in the restaurant.

“Trying to escape?!” The purple-haired woman snorted, slapped the law book beside her, and disappeared into a wisp of light dust.

“I’ll go help her.” The vodka man abruptly got up, applied force with both arms, tore open the space in front of him, and dove into the pitch-dark world inside.

The airplane shook violently a few times.

Zheng Qing swallowed hard.

“Do I need to follow you, Captain?” From behind the bar, Hilda, with her face full of piercings, threw a light blue cocktail to the white-haired young man next to Zheng Qing: “I can bring along the vodka that Victor ordered earlier.”

The slender glass flew through the air in a beautiful arc and landed in the young man’s hand.

The three slices of lemon on the glass wall shook and tilted to the side.

“Victor and the others are enough to chase a small Witch Demon.

We’d better stay on the plane and not get into any more accidents.” The white-haired captain shook his head, straightened the three lemon slices, sucked on the straw and said vaguely: “Let’s smash the door open first, the people outside must be getting impatient.”

Hilda agilely flipped out from behind the bar.

He frowned, calculated, stepped on the gang steps and muttered.

Then, to Zheng Qing’s bemusement, he took out a few shiny pins from his ears and stuffed them into the door gap.

“Pop…”

It was as if something was leaking air, and a few flashes of red light flickered on the tightly locked door of the restaurant.

Hilda quickly jumped back several steps.

The door crashed down.

Black-robed wizards, tall flight attendants in navy blue uniforms, green sprites, a wide variety of figures rushed in through the fallen door.

The sprites quickly scattered throughout the restaurant, starting to lift up tables, chairs, and stools, picking up the plates that had fallen on the ground, rehanging the silver-white curtains of the floor-to-ceiling windows, and dismantling the skewed and broken chandelier.

In an instant, the lifeless restaurant seemed to regain its original lively noise.

The captain with white hair led several flight attendants towards the rest area.

A blond-haired, black-robed wizard who had just entered was holding a large roster, loudly shouting, “Don’t mess around, everyone line up in order, come and sign!”

But his voice was swallowed up by a massive noise.

The new students in the restaurant seemed to have just realized they were safe.

The noise of arguing, crying, cheering, roaring, and boasting together almost seemed to lift the roof off.

Monk Shi Yuan, with Li Meng in tow, rushed towards several people.

Li Meng held Zheng Qing’s Poseidon in her arms, carried Xiao Xiao’s old turtle in her hands, and had her own pet pigeon Xiao Bai perched on her shoulder, resembling a human-shaped zoo.

Poseidon forcibly broke away from Li Meng’s hold, squeaked loudly, and darted into Zheng Qing’s arms.

Zheng Qing laughed heartily, rubbing the little guy’s fluffy fur.

Not far away, the spectacled snake that had been squeezed dry of venom crawled out from the small garden in the middle of the hall and slid back to its owner’s feet.

Its owner, the girl with the sharp chin, burst into tears, hugging her cold little companion in her arms.

The blonde wizard opened his mouth, seemingly wanting to say something.

Hilda pulled him back, shaking her head: “Let them vent first.”

He lifted his head and looked out the window.

The special plane had gone through the storm and was now flying under the brilliantly sunny sky again.

…

“Thanks for helping me out earlier.” The muscular man with a red face approached Zheng Qing and extended his right hand.

“I should be thanking you.” Zheng Qing quickly wiped his hand on his clothes and reached out to shake hands with the man, saying cheerfully, “Xiao Xiao told me that you were the first to jump in and resist the Demon’s attack for me.”

“No need for thanks, we’re all classmates.

It’s what we should do.” The man with the red face shook his arm forcefully, glanced sideways at Xiao Xiao next to him, and said drawlingly, “I just can’t stand wizards who kowtow to demons.”

Xiao Xiao lifted his head and gave him a disdainful look.

The man with the red face was very strong, and Zheng Qing massaged his arm, chuckling, “My name is Zheng Qing, from the Jiuyou Academy, Astronomy Class 08-1.

Nice to meet you.”

“I’m in your class!” The man laughed in honesty, “My name is Zhang Ji Xin.

弓长 (Long Bow) Zhang, 季节 (Season) Ji, 信仰 (Belief) Xin.”

“You’re from Jiuyou Academy?” Li Meng exclaimed in surprise from the side, “Everyone thought you were a freshman from the Starry Sky Academy!

Did you also take the wizard’s college entrance examination this year?

What was your score?

Which rank were you?

You seem like you can fight, why didn’t you go to Starry Sky Academy?”

Zhang Ji Xin was somewhat at a loss in front of the little girl, raising his head to glance at Zheng Qing.

Zheng Qing remained silent.

“My exam scores weren’t good.” Zhang Ji Xin stuttered after a long time, “I just…

I just can’t stand the arrogant air of the demons, I don’t really like fighting.”

“I’m also in Astronomy Class 08-1, so we’re classmates from now on.” Li Meng, with her pigeon in her arms, comforted Zhang Ji Xin with a pat on his arm, “My cousin is also in our class, she’s the third highest among all freshmen in Jiuyou this year!

I think you would also have a good ranking if you went to the Starry Sky Academy.”

Zhang Ji Xin’s already red face turned redder.

“I’m also in the Jiuyou Academy’s Astronomy Class 08-1.” A weak voice from the side disrupted the awkward atmosphere.

The people turned around in surprise to look.
