Supreme Warrior in the City

After the incident of the Immortal Palace being invaded, Wan Du and the other four did not continue to stay with the Human Clan but instead returned to the world of the Light Cocoon.

The Supreme Dragon Emperor was quite displeased with this situation, and whenever he had time, he would start rambling about how unfaithful Wan Du and his group were.

Su Yang, however, didn’t mind this situation much. In fact, it seemed normal for Wan Du and his group to make such a choice.

After all, they held no grudges against the Guardian God, and there was no reason for them to stand directly with the Human Clan. Besides, Wan Du didn’t represent all the supreme beings of their World Tree and couldn’t decide what others should do.

Of course, Su Yang also understood that for Wan Du and his group to remain independent was almost impossible. Eventually, they were bound to join the battle; the crucial point was when and which side they would support.

Su Yang did not enter the world of the Light Cocoon again; he continued to stay in that ruined Star Domain, continuing to supply Spiritual Energy to those Light Cocoons.

Given the current situation, it’s certain that the Guardian God has also cultivated other World Trees, and the strong beings from those World Trees have already started to help them, which is extremely dangerous for the Human Clan.

Therefore, Su Yang must quickly cultivate other World Trees, bring back the strongest from within, and try to win over some of the strongest to help the Human Clan combat the Guardian God.

Thus, about three hundred years passed without any unusual incidents. Those strongest beings who had previously entered the Immortal Palace did not reappear, and at the entrance of the Immortal Palace, no other strongest beings showed up, leaving Su Yang and the others quite puzzled. What exactly was going on?

During this time, another Light Cocoon produced a strongest being.

Su Yang and the others found this strongest being and inquired about the situation of their World Tree.

As a result, in that World Tree, there was no distinction between the Human Clan and the Guardian God. In their world, the number of life forms of Chaos and space was roughly equal.

However, unlike Wan Du’s world, there were three powerful factions in theirs, at odds with each other. It was a situation of three-way balance, and all the conflict originated from these three powerful forces.

Moreover, the number of strongest beings in this world was slightly higher than those of Wan Du’s World Tree.

According to what Wan Du had previously mentioned, their world had about three to four hundred strongest beings. In the second world, however, there were over five hundred, significantly more than Wan Du’s world.

However, the strength of the strongest beings in this second world was somewhat inferior to those in Wan Du’s world.

The first to recover as the strongest being was also the mightiest in their world. His strength was only slightly stronger than that of the Human Emperor and others, but the difference with the Heaven Slayer was significant.

Wan Du’s power could rival the Heaven Slayer and was much stronger than that of this individual.

Su Yang spoke with this strongest being about the Human Clan and the Guardian God, as well as the crisis within the Immortal Palace, mainly to inquire whether he was willing to assist the Human Clan.

And this person’s response was similar to Wan Du’s situation.

They were previously unaware of the existence of the Human Clan and the Guardian God, and naturally didn’t know how adversarial these two groups were. In his view, the conflict among the three forces in their world was much more severe than the conflict between the Human Clan and the Guardian God.

So, when Su Yang asked if he was willing to help the Human Clan, he instead tried to win Su Yang over, hoping the Human Clan would help his force against the other two forces.

Su Yang was quite speechless about this situation.

Although the three factions in this world were very powerful, far surpassing the strength of the Human Clan and the Guardian God, the problem was, their conflict wouldn’t involve life from other worlds.

However, the conflict between the Human Clan and the Guardian God could undeniably spread to any life form. As long as this life form needed to absorb Spiritual Energy, it would inevitably be drawn into the conflict between the Human Clan and the Guardian God.

Therefore, Su Yang saw very clearly that the conflict between the Human Clan and the Guardian God was the most fundamental contradiction that could engulf any world with life.

Of course, for other life forms in other worlds, understanding this might not be easy. After all, they hadn’t encountered the Guardian God, nor had they experienced what Su Yang and the others did, so how could they understand the differences?

Ultimately, Su Yang did not force the strongest being but let him return to the Light Cocoon.

He wasn’t in the mood to investigate whether this person’s words were true or false. The Guardian God had already entered the Immortal Palace. At this moment, being wary of the Guardian God’s surprise attacks was the most important thing. Where was the time to consider whether this person was lying?

Another two decades passed like this, and one day, Su Yang was sitting in meditation. Suddenly, a beam of light shot up in front of him, and the Human Emperor and others quickly soared into the sky.

”Su Alliance Leader, someone has entered our Array!” The Human Emperor sent a message over.

Su Yang didn’t have time to think; he immediately followed the Human Emperor in flight. Of course, to be safe, they still left five strongest beings to guard the base camp, lest anyone attempt a diversionary tactic.

Su Yang quickly caught up with the Human Emperor and the others, spending almost half a day to reach the place where the Array was destroyed.

The Human Emperor observed carefully around the area and said in a deep voice, ”It was the same group of people who destroyed the Immortal Palace entrance Array before, the power aura is the same!”

”Not here? Where have they gone?” The Demon Lord wondered, ”Could they have just accidentally passed by here and then moved on?”

”The Array has been destroyed, which means they discovered the Array’s presence.” The Human Emperor said, ”Moreover, judging by the power aura, they shouldn’t have gone far and are still nearby!”

”Nearby?” Everyone immediately looked around, but there was nothing special around here.

Su Yang took a deep breath, holding his breath and focusing, carefully sensing the power fluctuations around him.

Suddenly, Su Yang opened his eyes sharply, pointing in one direction, and shouted in a deep voice, ”Over there! The power aura over there is stronger!”

Everyone immediately followed Su Yang in that direction, with Su Yang’s superior strength and speed leading the way.

After less than an hour of chasing, Su Yang felt the power aura ahead.

”We’ve caught up!” Su Yang shouted in a low voice, ”I’ll circle around ahead, you continue following this path and stop them!”

”Understood!” Everyone nodded.

Su Yang accelerated, instantly leaving the spot, circling around the previous position to intercept those people from the front.

The Human Emperor and the others continued their pursuit from behind, pushing their speed to the limit.
