Supreme Warrior in the City

Personally keeping an eye here, Su Yang himself witnessed how fast Wan Du’s advancement truly was.

He advanced from the Initial Stage of Heavenly Level to the Heavenly Peak in less than a hundred years.

Such a leap in realm, even the most talented individuals from Su Yang’s world would need thousands of years to achieve.

Even Su Yang took thousands of years to advance to the Heavenly Peak.

Yet Wan Du accomplished it in less than a hundred years.

”It doesn’t seem like he’s cultivating, but rather absorbing back his own power!” the Supreme Dragon Emperor remarked in astonishment.

Others nodded in agreement; Wan Du indeed didn’t seem like he was cultivating. Normal cultivation could never advance so quickly; Wan Du was completely absorbing back his own power!

Su Yang didn’t speak. The situation of this world was beyond their understanding, and so they could only observe here.

Wan Du reached the Heavenly Peak, just a step away from becoming the Strongest.

During this process, Wan Du still hadn’t retrieved the memories of his past life, still unable to recall previous events.

Thus, even now, Su Yang and the others couldn’t discern the situation of this world, whether there was a distinction between the Human Clan and the Guardian God.

However, the more uncertain the situation, the more Su Yang and the others remained vigilant.

Once Wan Du advanced to the Strongest, he would certainly immediately recover the memories of his past life. If there indeed was a division of Human Clan and Guardian God in this world, and if Wan Du himself was a Guardian God, it would mean they unwittingly cultivated an enemy, which would be troublesome.

Therefore, they must observe closely. Once Wan Du advanced to the Strongest, they must figure out which side Wan Du stands on.

Several decades passed like this, and finally, Wan Du showed signs of advancing.

Everyone held their breath, focusing attentively; for so many years, they’ve been waiting for Wan Du to advance.

On this day, heavenly phenomena descended, and Wan Du finally started his advancement.

Everyone was by his side, watching as Wan Du stepped into the Strongest Realm.

Becoming the Strongest, Wan Du stood in the Void, not descending. His eyes were somewhat confused, seemingly having received many past memories, hard to digest in a short time.

Su Yang and the others observed from the side, mainly watching the changes in Wan Du’s expression to prevent any unexpected situations.

After about half a day, Wan Du finally returned to normal. His gaze swept over the world below and finally turned towards Su Yang and the others in the sky.

”Greetings, fellow cultivators!” Wan Du flew towards Su Yang and the others with a smile.

Everyone emerged from hiding, greeting Wan Du in turn.

”Thanks to all fellow cultivators for protecting me during these years!” Wan Du expressed sincerely.

”We didn’t do much; it’s all the result of your own cultivation,” the Human Emperor waved his hand with a smile. ”By the way, Wan Du, have you recovered the memories of your past life?”

”Sort of,” Wan Du nodded. ”I’ve recovered quite a bit of the old memories.”

The Eternal Divine Emperor rejoiced, ”That’s wonderful! Fellow cultivator, could you share the stories of your world with us?”

”Alright!” Wan Du nodded and slowly recounted the affairs of his world.

Su Yang stood nearby, listening attentively, noting down every little detail.

He was unsure if Wan Du’s words were true or false. If Wan Du harbored ill intentions, he might lie to deceive.

Su Yang noted what Wan Du said, and in the future, when other individuals in this world advanced to the Strongest, Su Yang could inquire them. Then, they would compare the descriptions, and determine whether Wan Du lied.

Of course, during this process, the most crucial was to prevent Wan Du from communicating with other Strongest individuals. Otherwise, if others mirrored Wan Du’s descriptions, it would be hard to distinguish.

According to Wan Du, their World Tree, indeed as speculated by the Human Emperor, was a withered World Tree.

And the withering of the World Tree wasn’t as the Guardian God claimed, caused by too many lives overwhelming the World Tree. Their World Tree’s withering happened very suddenly, without any signs; the Heavenly Dao Earth Principles suddenly vanished, the World Tree lost its Spiritual Energy supply, and then the World Tree gradually withered.

The life within the World Tree, without Spiritual Energy supply, couldn’t survive. The Spiritual Energy they accumulated could only sustain for a while. After that, all lives perished, the World Tree completely withered, and everything concluded.

As everyone speculated, Wan Du was indeed the strongest cultivator among that World Tree. Their Great World under the World Tree numbered in the tens of thousands, far exceeding Su Yang’s Three Thousand Great Worlds.

Moreover, Wan Du’s World Tree had five to six hundred Strongest individuals, far more than the Strongest among Su Yang’s Great World.

Overall, the development of Wan Du’s World Tree far exceeded that of Su Yang’s World Tree, beyond what Su Yang could imagine.

After hearing Wan Du’s description, everyone was deeply shocked. Who could have imagined a World Tree could give birth to tens of thousands of Great Worlds? And to have five to six hundred Strongest individuals; the number is truly terrifying!

”Can a World Tree really give birth to so many Great Worlds?” the Supreme Dragon Emperor said, astonished. ”Our World Tree birthed over three thousand Great Worlds, and even the Guardian God claims the World Tree is doomed. Now, their World Tree has birthed tens of thousands of Great Worlds; the difference is too vast!”

The Eternal Divine Emperor was equally incredulous, ”And five to six hundred Strongest individuals; this number is too terrifying. Combined, our Guardian God and us don’t exceed fifty Strongest individuals; is the gap really this big?”

”Compared to these, what I want to know more is why the Heavenly Dao and Earth Principles suddenly disappeared?” Su Yang asked, puzzled. ”Doesn’t your world have a distinction between Human Clan and Guardian God?”

”Human Clan? Guardian God?” Wan Du was clearly confused by these two terms.

Su Yang briefly explained the matters of the Human Clan and Guardian God, who were merely different in ideologies, leading to a conflict. Once Su Yang explained the ideologies, Wan Du naturally understood.

Wan Du replied, ”The Human Clan and Guardian God you mentioned, in our world, there both are and aren’t.”

The Supreme Dragon Emperor, ”Either there is or there isn’t. What do you mean by there both are and aren’t?”
