Supreme Warrior in the City

The others nodded at the Human Emperor’s words.

Their current World Tree was withering, with only the strong still alive, truly lacking vitality.

Now that a new World Tree and new life have emerged, it not only fills the void of the Great World. Most importantly, it gives the Great World new hope!

”Why don’t we gather all the life from here into our world?” The Supreme Dragon Emperor said enthusiastically, ”I want to train all those Demon Beasts and let them know that our Demon Beast Clan can also advance to become the Strongest. I am the most genuine example. I want to tell them that Demon Beasts will never be enslaved!”

Everyone looked speechlessly at the Supreme Dragon Emperor. This guy had been so provoked by the Guardian God that he was becoming a bit obsessive, even saying things like ’Demon Beasts will never be enslaved.’

”For now, let’s not guide these life forms into our world…” the Human Emperor said, ”Every civilization has its own development pattern. External interference results in no benefits. Whether our intentions are good or bad, it will influence their own developmental patterns, ultimately causing them to deviate from their path without being able to integrate into our path, resulting in something that looks like neither here nor there!”

The others instinctively glanced at the Human Emperor, while the Supreme Dragon Emperor exclaimed, ”Human Emperor, you sure know a lot. You speak as if you’ve witnessed the rise and fall of many World Trees before!”

”I haven’t seen the rise and fall of other World Trees, but I’ve seen the rise and fall of many Human Clan Worlds!” the Human Emperor replied. ”From the small, you can infer the large. By observing the developmental patterns of a Small World, you can see some of the patterns of Intermediate and Great Worlds. Worlds that are externally interfered with, whether Small, Intermediate, or Great, generally do not meet positive ends!”

Su Yang deeply empathized with this point. He had previously tried to interfere in an Intermediate World, affecting its development. The result was that the world deviated from its original path, unable to achieve its inherent glory.

”I think you’re just being alarmist!” The Supreme Dragon Emperor remained defiant, ”I don’t believe that we could affect their development by helping them. Our immense power would certainly speed up their advancement. Moreover, the Secret Techniques they cultivate are completely different from ours. Their techniques may not suit everyone. I can teach them my Secret Technique to give them more options, isn’t that more appropriate?”

The Human Emperor shook his head, ”Dragon Emperor, what you propose won’t help them. On the contrary, it will affect their development!”

”Why?” the Supreme Dragon Emperor protested, ”Tell me a reason, and I’ll believe you!”

The Human Emperor replied, ”This is my experience. I have witnessed countless Human Clan Worlds’ rise and fall and know very clearly that external influence offers them no benefits!”

The Supreme Dragon Emperor scoffed, ”Well, I’ve also witnessed many Demon Beasts’ births, rises, and falls. I helped them, and their development was fine, with nothing adverse occurring!”

Everyone was speechless; the Supreme Dragon Emperor was indeed a contrarian!

”Enough, you two! Stop arguing!” said the Taoist Venerable, waving a hand. ”It seems inevitable that the Dragon Emperor is determined to try. How about this: let’s give the Dragon Emperor a chance. Let him select ten Demon Beasts, help them cultivate, and observe the eventual results. If it’s effective, it proves that external interference isn’t necessarily a bad thing. If not, it shows that external interference is unsuitable!”

The Human Emperor and Supreme Dragon Emperor exchanged a glance and nodded simultaneously.

”Alright, it’s settled!” The Supreme Dragon Emperor was eager, ”I’ll find ten Demon Beasts, hide them in a secluded place, help them cultivate without disturbing other life forms. Human Emperor, if you lose, you’ll have to be obedient when you see Dragon Lord me in the future!”

The Human Emperor pursed his lips, ”I think you just need a good thrashing!”

The Supreme Dragon Emperor grinned smugly, ignoring the Human Emperor’s words, and descended, ”I’m off to pick the Demon Beasts!”

Su Yang followed closely behind the Supreme Dragon Emperor. Deep down, Su Yang leaned more toward the Human Emperor’s perspective. He didn’t think the Supreme Dragon Emperor’s interference with the life here was a good idea.

However, since the Supreme Dragon Emperor made a bet with the Human Emperor, it had to be conducted. He also wanted to see what the final result would be from this test.

Of course, before the results were out, the most crucial task was to ensure that the Supreme Dragon Emperor didn’t disturb the life forms here.

The Supreme Dragon Emperor always liked to show off, and if it ran rampant below, attracting the life forms’ attention, it would be troublesome.

Fortunately, this time, the Supreme Dragon Emperor showed some restraint, not flaunting its presence.

Flying down, it carefully searched through the Demon Beasts and selected ten.

Su Yang glanced briefly and was speechless.

The Supreme Dragon Emperor was indeed shameless, choosing the ten most gifted Demon Beasts, true prodigies of their kind.

These prodigies would surely achieve great success even without external assistance.

Now that the Supreme Dragon Emperor had chosen to train them, the final cultivation outcome couldn’t be bad, smelling a bit like cheating.

However, Su Yang ultimately didn’t stop the Supreme Dragon Emperor. He understood the Dragon Emperor’s temperament; if he interfered and insisted on choosing some mediocres, should the Dragon Emperor lose, it would surely blame Su Yang, possibly nagging for who knows how long.

Thus, it was best not to intervene in such affairs, preventing future nagging from the Supreme Dragon Emperor.

The Supreme Dragon Emperor took the ten Demon Beasts to a remote area of this world, unreachable by the life forms here for the time being.

After all, the strongest beings here were currently only at the Saint level.

The location chosen by the Supreme Dragon Emperor would be inaccessible at anything below the Heavenly Realm, so it meticulously isolated from existing life, ensuring no disturbance.

It was evident that the Supreme Dragon Emperor took this bet seriously, avoiding illegitimate actions that might later invalidate the results.

Though appearing to aid the Demon Beasts’ cultivation, deep down, it was simply bent on defeating the Human Emperor!
