Supreme Warrior in the City

As everyone was in shock, the eagle explained Su Yang’s plan, which was to save everyone.

At last, everyone understood what had happened and felt immense gratitude towards Su Yang.

Su Yang remained calm and didn’t say much. After letting everyone sit down, he took peaches out of the Little Turtle’s shell for everyone to eat.

These peaches could quickly heal everyone’s injuries, and were perfect for these people now.

Of course, these people didn’t know what these peaches actually were. However, after eating them, everyone was astounded as their injuries instantly healed.

This made everyone even more grateful to Su Yang.

In this valley, everyone’s power had been sealed. Something like these peaches, which could retain some Spiritual Energy and heal injuries, was extremely precious. The fact that Su Yang was willing to share them was the most important element.

Nonetheless, some people became more wary after learning about Su Yang’s identity from the eagle and began to worry.

Su Yang saved them and then gave them these peaches. Wasn’t he trying to win them over? Was Su Yang planning to have them join his alliance and start controlling them?

Seeing their expressions, Su Yang roughly guessed what was on their minds.

After everyone finished the peaches, Su Yang stood up and spoke loudly, ”Your injuries should be mostly healed by now. There are still some food supplies here; feel free to help yourselves. For the next period, please try not to linger here, because the army of Feather Clan descendants will soon return, and this place is quite dangerous. Consider these provisions my support for you. I wish you all the best in the future!”

As soon as these words were spoken, the scene was instantly in an uproar; everyone was bewildered by Su Yang’s statement.

The Three Eagles of Yanbei and others were stunned, wondering what this meant? Su Yang was giving them food and asking them to leave? After all this effort, wasn’t Su Yang trying to recruit them? What was going on?

The rescued individuals were also speechless, mouths agape. Su Yang had saved them and given them peaches to heal their injuries, and now he was asking them to leave so quickly. What did this mean?

”But, Su Alliance Leader...” an elderly man quickly stood up and said, ”Su Alliance Leader, you saved our lives. We are willing to follow you and serve you with all our strength!”

Many people nodded in agreement, but some continued to frown at Su Yang. Wasn’t Su Yang doing this to catch us off guard?

Su Yang maintained a calm expression and softly said, ”Old sir, thank you for your trust. But I didn’t save you so that you would serve me. I saved you because, firstly, you are Huaxia people, and we share the same roots, so naturally, we should help each other here. Secondly, despite being tortured by those Feather Clan descendants, you still maintain your pride and refuse to be enslaved, which shows your spirit, and I admire that. Thirdly, mainly because I and those Feather Clan descendants are enemies. Saving you is simply to have more people to deal with them in the future, that’s all!”

These words made many admire Su Yang even more.

”Su Alliance Leader, you’re right. We share the same roots, so naturally we should help each other!” the old man said quickly. ”But we Huaxia people believe in repaying even a drop of kindness with overflowing gratitude. You saved us, and that is a huge favor. If we do not repay it, we would not deserve to be called human.”

Many expressed their support, but some still looked at Su Yang with caution. These people were the type that were rebellious and definitely unwilling to be controlled. Even though Su Yang saved them, they remained cautious of him.

Su Yang smiled faintly, clasped his hands towards everyone, and spoke loudly, ”Thank you all for your kindness, but I have a very important matter to attend to next, which will be quite dangerous, so it’s not convenient to bring you along. Rescuing you today wasn’t solely my achievement; my companions also made significant contributions. In this period, I truly cannot accompany you, so please understand!”

Everyone was taken aback, and the elderly man once again called loudly, ”Su Alliance Leader, if you have matters, let us help you. You saved us, and it is time for us to repay the favor!”

”Yes, Su Alliance Leader, our lives were saved by you, your matters are ours!”

”Su Alliance Leader, let’s go together for whatever matter it is!”

Everyone began shouting, but Su Yang kept shaking his head. Once everyone calmed down, he softly said, ”I appreciate your kindness, but this matter is not about numbers; I truly cannot take you on the risks. Not you, nor my friends here, can accompany me!”

”What?” Now it was the turn of the Three Eagles of Yanbei and others to be surprised; they didn’t expect Su Yang to exclude them too.

”Starting today, you should not continue to follow me anymore.” Su Yang told the eagle, ”You can start from here and head north. Once I complete my matters, if possible, I will come to meet you.”

The Three Eagles of Yanbei and others looked at each other, and the eagle hurriedly said, ”But, Su Alliance Leader, we... we’ve always been with you. Let’s venture together, we fear no dangers...”

Su Yang smiled lightly, ”I know you fear no danger. But as I said earlier, this matter is not about the number of people. The future is uncertain in this task, and I really don’t know what kind of crisis there might be. So, I cannot take you on this risk. If I complete this matter and return safely, I’ll come to find you!”

”But, Su Alliance Leader...” the eagle said anxiously.

”Enough, stop talking!” Su Yang directly interrupted him, ”My decision is final, and that’s settled. Take some of the food supplies for the road. Remember, the Feather Clan descendants are far too many; you must ensure your safety and try to stay away from this area!”

Everyone looked at each other; Su Yang’s firm stance left them with no room for discussion.

As for those who had still been suspicious and wary of Su Yang, when they looked at him then, all previous doubts vanished, replaced by admiration. This time, they were truly convinced by Su Yang!
