Supreme Warrior in the City

Watching these people retreat, Su Yang quietly slipped past again.

This time, he went towards the lake.

Over by the lake, there was also a bonfire, another place where smoke signals were sent.

These people had been bustling about, having lost so much, they were naturally furious. Moreover, after all this fuss, they were all pretty exhausted. When Su Yang arrived here, he heard many people angrily cursing and resting.

Taking advantage of their rest, Su Yang quietly slipped over to the bonfire and set it ablaze once more, then quickly slipped away.

As the fire took hold, smoke billowed everywhere, waking everyone up. They all rushed out, and the scene became chaotic once again.

Before long, people from the mountain rushed down to support this area. But needless to say, after a long effort, they found nothing at all.

Only the leader sensed something amiss and hurriedly led his people back. However, by the time they returned to the mountain, the storage area in the cave had already been raided again, and not much was left.

In fact, these people were quite sharp to have left a few guards in the cave with the food when they left. However, these few were no match for Su Yang and were assassinated easily by his stealth, without any ability to resist.

This situation made the Feather Clan descendants extremely furious, and they gathered another group to search the vicinity. But to no avail, they could find nothing, leading to much cursing and swearing outside.

Su Yang hid not far away, pretending to have heard nothing at all.

When the people in the cave went down, Su Yang quietly sneaked in and stole all the stored food inside.

If it weren’t for the patrols in the woods not leaving, Su Yang would have surely gone there directly to free them all.

Although the woods were not far from the cave, in reality, those people couldn’t see the situation by the cave. Su Yang had no difficulty sneaking into the cave.

After raiding both places, Su Yang found a spot to temporarily hide.

After resting for a night, Su Yang released the Three Eagles of Yanbei and others the next day, explaining the next plan to them.

Su Yang had about thirty to forty people here, dividing them into two groups. One group, consisting of those with basic combat skills and strong physiques, was tasked with ambushing. The other group, being relatively weaker in combat, was assigned to go into the woods shortly to rescue those who were imprisoned.

Once everything was arranged, Su Yang led everyone into action. They circled around to the outside of the woods at the mountainside, where the two groups dispersed and quietly moved to their designated positions. As for Su Yang himself, he began moving solo.

During the day, most people were resting. Su Yang easily bypassed everyone and arrived at the cave entrance.

Su Yang didn’t enter the cave but took out the Little Turtle, placing it behind a slab at the cave entrance.

Then, Su Yang quietly moved towards the woods. In the woods, fifty individuals were divided into seven small teams, patrolling back and forth. Yesterday’s events had made them more vigilant.

Su Yang quietly approached one of the teams, drawing the dagger hidden at his waist. As they passed by his hiding spot, Su Yang suddenly leaped out of the bushes, pouncing on the last member.

He covered the man’s mouth with one hand, and with his right hand, he sliced across the man’s throat, who then fell to the ground, making no noise at all.

The people in front didn’t notice the situation at the back, and Su Yang quickly advanced, repeating the process, taking out three more people. It wasn’t until there were only three left that anyone noticed, but by then, it was another patrolling team shouting from a distance.

The three ahead turned to see what was happening, but by then, Su Yang had already dashed forward, stabbing his dagger into one of their hearts. Then, with a leap, he kicked the remaining two to the ground.

These two struggled to resist, but Su Yang quickly pounced, pinning the first one down before he could react, twisting the man’s neck from behind swiftly, ending him instantly.

The last person, seeing the six corpses around, was frozen in fear, trying to run. But now, with only him left, how could Su Yang let him escape?

Drawing his dagger, he sprinted, giving the man no chance to turn back, already grasping his neck, delivering a fatal stab.

The seven-man patrol squad was cleanly and efficiently wiped out by Su Yang, with almost no resistance throughout the process, all seven fell.

Su Yang, during past missions on the border, had faced similar situations. However, over there, the adversaries were murderers or well-trained soldiers, which didn’t faze him.

As for these Feather Clan descendants, outside they possessed Immortal Realm-like terrifying power. But the problem was, having Feather Clan blood, they inherently had strong power, never bothering to cultivate martial arts needed by ordinary people. Without their power, their combat abilities were pitifully weak before Su Yang, with no resistance at all.

If those seven had attacked Su Yang together, they might have caused some trouble. But by the time they spotted Su Yang, four were already down. The remaining three couldn’t grasp the situation, and Su Yang had already acted. Did they stand a chance to resist?

From a distance, the other patrol squads noticed the situation and yelled as they rushed over. Su Yang, being straightforward, didn’t linger and turned to run.

How could these people let Su Yang get away so easily, yelling as they chased after him, while calling out to those in the cave to come out and stop Su Yang?

The people in the cave also heard the commotion, noises echoed from inside as they seemed ready to come out.

Su Yang was heading towards the cave, hunted by the patrols, with people from the cave rushing out to encircle him. Su Yang was essentially already surrounded.
