Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 384: Chapter 169: Thousands of warriors in the world, only I am Zhang Beixing!_5

”...”

In the meeting room, people spoke indignantly.

Seeing them like this, President Liang nodded in satisfaction.

Indeed, they were united. That spirit was enough.

He then turned to look at Liu Yi, wanting to ask Liu Yi, Zhang Beixing’s master, what he thought about the matter. He found that Liu Yi had been deep in thought since he arrived.

Seeing this, President Liang asked him.

He learned that Liu Yi was considering why the other Martial Arts Associations had gone to such lengths to expel Zhang Beixing from the Martial Artist community. After all, Zhang Beixing barely mingled in martial arts circles. Their expulsion meant nothing to him.

”It’s really strange,” Liu Yi mused. ”I’ve lived so many years, and this is the first time I’ve heard of such a thing as a martial arts registry... Why would they fabricate this whole scenario for nothing? It doesn’t affect Zhang Beixing at all! The man’s a big internet celebrity; whether the martial arts circles ban him or not, what impact would it have?”

To this, President Liang’s remark enlightened him, ”It’s because the election for the President of the Martial Arts Association is about to start!”

This was no secret in the martial arts world of Great Xia. It had been widely known since it was leaked three days ago.

Now that President Liang had pointed it out, Liu Yi also understood the aims of the major Martial Arts Associations.

They were trying to eliminate their strongest competitor!

Zhang Beixing, who had become a Grandmaster at only twenty-one and had defeated fighters across the country, was indisputably the top Grandmaster. Even though he rarely involved himself in martial arts circles, it was undeniable that if he chose to run in the election, he would have a greater advantage than the others. After all, the presidency of the Great Xia Martial Arts Association was determined not only by votes but ultimately by the decision of the official in charge.

Therefore, to prevent such a competitor from emerging and to put Zhang Beixing and the Northern River Province Martial Arts Association in their place, the other Martial Arts Associations had collaborated on this underhanded strategy.

After all, how could someone who didn’t even qualify as a Martial Artist and was collectively boycotted have any right to participate in an election targeted at Martial Artists?

”Damn it, these bastards!” Liu Yi swore aloud, having understood the situation. ”All day long, they do nothing constructive, just scheme and play mind games!”

Then, he began discussing with the others how to handle the matter going forward.

While Liu Yi and the others were discussing, Zhang Beixing was in the Shishi military district, seated cross-legged on the summit of the back mountain. He enjoyed the cool mountain breeze, listened to the rain-like rustle of the bamboo forest, and smelled the fresh scent of the soil, his eyes closed in concentration.

After understanding the core purpose and central idea needed to break through to Great Grandmaster and create his Ultimate Skill, he began pondering these aspects.

During this period of quiet contemplation, he couldn’t help but think of his experiences over the past five months.

Although few, they were incredibly eventful. Killing human traffickers, capturing ’terrorists,’ subduing tigers, annihilating enemies. Finally, after traveling thousands of miles, visiting various landscapes, climbing Wudang Mountain, and stepping on the summit of Dragon Lake Mountain, he became the top Grandmaster!

”I think I’ve got it!” Zhang Beixing muttered, his furrowed brows gradually relaxing. ”I’ve traveled thousands of miles. Now, I should also practice thousands of punches!”

His opened eyes sparkled as if he had seen something extraordinarily captivating, which stirred his heart, prompting him to stand up.

At that moment, Zhang Beixing had an epiphany, yet he could only fathom the beginning and didn’t know how to describe it. But he knew one thing: now, it was time to practice his punches. He had practiced martial arts for more than half a year. Aside from his exceptional talent, nothing else was particularly notable. Others practiced all their lives and, although they made no progress, they had substantial fundamentals. And he, having become a Grandmaster in just half a year, how many times had he actually practiced his punches?

WHOOSH.

Standing up from the ground, he moved to the peak and looked at the distant, lush, overlapping ridges. He felt refreshed as a breeze passed, as if his entire body had become lighter. Without any particular thought, his arms naturally lifted, and he settled into a proper Horse Stance.

”Travel thousands of miles, practice thousands of punches!” Zhang Beixing whispered calmly, swinging his fists. He created gusts of wind that collided with the incoming breeze, his Qi and Blood roiling within him as he moved.

This sensation intoxicated him. It turned out that the simple act of punching could unveil myriad beauties. And while he had always sought quick success, impatient and restless, he had overlooked the scenery along the way. Each punch and kick was not just a motion of the body, but full of grace and style.

Gazing at the distant mountains, trees, white clouds, and flying birds, Zhang Beixing gradually forgot everything.

Martial arts, techniques... at this moment, none of that was important! What mattered to Zhang Beixing now were his own punches and kicks!

Initially, he punched randomly, switching between numerous styles freely, without any particular system, all led by his heart. But as time passed, his punching technique became increasingly straightforward. There were no longer complex and showy skills, nor any martial arts routines. There was just punching, retracting, and punching again.

Perhaps the angles were different, perhaps the strength varied, but the punches seemed to become more vibrant. Apparently devoid of any precise techniques, yet it felt like a return to simplicity.

He repeated these movements tirelessly until the sun rose and set.

As the evening breeze blew and night fell, Zhang Beixing, terribly hungry, hastily descended the mountain to dine in the military camp.

After dinner, he went up the mountain to sleep. A day had passed, and he felt peaceful and calm, as if at that moment he had forgotten his identity as a Martial Artist and all the martial skills he possessed.
