Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 383: Chapter 169: Thousands of warriors in the world, only I, Zhang Beixing, stand alone!_4

”Don’t even mention it; just thinking about it pisses me off. Do any of you even remember when Brother Dan posted online asking for help with the martial arts secret book? I remember at that time, right after Brother Dan posted the plea for help, aside from the few people who were close to Brother Dan, no one else responded at all! You have to understand, it was during the peak of the martial arts craze. These people reaped the benefits Brother Dan brought them but didn’t lift a finger to reciprocate, and now they turn around and ban Brother Dan.”

”Hypocrites! The nerve of those who feast at your table and then curse you behind your back is just fucking unbelievable!”

”Erm... everyone, I know you’re upset, but to be fair, is Zhang Beixing entirely blameless in this matter? If he hadn’t been so reckless, going around challenging everyone, it wouldn’t have come to this, would it?”

”You’re right. The way you’re all talking now makes it sound as if Zhang Beixing is so wronged and so great. He just stirred up a wave of martial arts fervor, didn’t he? It’s as if without him, the martial arts world of Great Xia would be dead. And as for ’offending foreigners to prove our Great Xia’s martial arts’—that was his own doing. What does it have to do with us? Who asked him to prove anything? It was entirely his own idea, how ridiculous! Don’t get all self-righteous here.”

”They can all go to hell!”

「Online, curses flew in all directions.」 Zhang Beixing’s fans were out in force, crying foul for him and condemning the Martial Arts Associations for their misconduct. The matter had blown up so much it had gone viral.

Liu Yi and the others, being the closest to Zhang Beixing, naturally knew about this.

BANG!

”Outrageous! These people from the Martial Arts Associations are pushing it too far!”

In the office at Shi University, Liu Yi slammed his hand on the armrest, which promptly shattered with a dull thud.

Staring at his cellphone, Liu Yi’s eyes bulged with uncontainable fury!

Although he had long been aware of the hidebound nature of the Martial Arts Associations, the extent it had reached now was truly beyond his expectations.

Expelling Zhang Beixing from the martial community? They sure had the audacity to say that! And what in the hell is this ’martial registry’ anyway?

”Damn it, I’m going to demand an explanation right now!”

Liu Yi stood up and stormed out the door, fuming.

As his master, he couldn’t possibly stand by and watch his disciple suffer such an indignity.

Just as Liu Yi stepped out the door, he ran into Chen Rourou, who had been looking for him.

Seeing Liu Yi, Chen Rourou’s face showed her outrage. ”Grandmaster, my Master has been expelled from the martial registry! By the way, what is this martial registry? Am I on it?”

After officially becoming Zhang Beixing’s disciple, Chen Rourou of the Chen Family had also officially joined the Yue Family Fist lineage.

Her address for Zhang Beixing had changed from the initial ’Uncle Zhang’ to ’Master,’ and for Liu Yi, it was ’Grandmaster.’

Hearing her words, Liu Yi was about to say something when his phone rang.

It was a call from President Liang of the Northern River Province’s Martial Arts Association, inviting him to a meeting to discuss Zhang Beixing’s situation.

After all, with the issue becoming this significant, Martial Arts Associations all over the country were boycotting Zhang Beixing.

And Zhang Beixing was the honorary vice president of their Northern River Province Martial Arts Association.

They could not possibly detach themselves from the situation and needed to have a serious discussion about it.

Liu Yi understood and, after packing his things, set off.

「Two hours later.」

In Wucheng, at the Northern River Province’s Martial Arts Association.

The conference room was full of people.

These were martial artists from the Northern River Martial Arts Association, urgently summoned for a meeting following the incident involving Zhang Beixing.

President Liang took the main seat. Seeing that everyone had arrived, he began the meeting, asking, ”You all know what happened today, so I won’t go into excessive detail. I want to ask you all now, what are your thoughts on this situation?”

”Our thoughts? How else could we see it? These people are bullies! They’re ganging up to blacklist Grandmaster Zhang! This is a slap in the face to our Northern River Province Martial Arts Association!”

As soon as President Liang finished speaking, Elder Chen chimed in immediately, brimming with indignation.

It was common knowledge in the martial arts world that the Northern River Province Martial Arts Association and Zhang Beixing were closely bound.

And now, these other associations have brazenly united to boycott Zhang Beixing.

Perhaps Zhang Beixing himself didn’t care much for the martial arts circles and wasn’t bothered by this expulsion; it might be irrelevant to him.

But even if Zhang Beixing didn’t care, they certainly did!

They were part of these circles. What these other Martial Arts Associations had done was akin to repeatedly slapping them in the face.

If they didn’t react to this, tomorrow, these people would have the gall to crap on their heads and then ask to borrow paper!

The people present clearly understood this point and responded one after another:

”Damn it! If they can’t win, they pull these dirty tricks! And they call themselves local Martial Arts Associations? If they can’t do it openly, they resort to underhanded means, is that it? How can we tolerate this? Let’s take them on!”

”They’re just spoiled rotten! What makes them think they’re qualified to expel our Grandmaster Zhang? If it weren’t for our Grandmaster Zhang, that damn Black Ghost would still be trampling all over Great Xia’s martial arts! These people are subservient to foreigners but tyrants to their own countrymen! Pah! They’re no better than dogs!”

”It’s only because Grandmaster Zhang is currently in seclusion! Otherwise, with his temper, he’d definitely go on another round of challenges. Let’s see if they’d still dare to make such a fuss then!”
