Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 381: Chapter 169: Thousands of warriors in the world, only I, Zhang Beixing, am unmatched!_2

Is this Martial Arts strong? Very strong!

With this Martial Arts, Chen He Gao enabled Hang City’s hospitals to achieve record revenue. He also climbed from being a commoner to the position of Vice President of the Hang City Martial Arts Association and even became the tactical skills instructor for the local riot police.

But beyond that, it lacks any deeper significance! This technique does nothing to strengthen the body. It is purely a method of combat.

Hence, even if the Unlimited Fighting Technique is incredibly powerful, it cannot be cultivated to any profound level. In fact, the Hidden Force that Chen He Gao can now exhibit, reaching the Pseudo Grandmaster realm, is all thanks to the other Martial Arts he cultivated previously!

And the core concept behind Chen He Gao’s creation of the Unlimited Fighting Technique is—punishment! Simple and crude.

In contrast, Ultimate Skills are different.

Ultimate Skills are suitable for all ages, with an extremely low barrier to entry! As long as your body is healthy, you can cultivate them! Even if you aren’t a martial artist, you can still reap the benefits of improved health and strength. For martial artists, if they possess enough talent, they might even break through to the Great Grandmaster Realm using these Martial Arts!

At the same time, for a Martial Arts to be considered an Ultimate Skill, it must contain a core idea that encapsulates the principles of the universe! The ambition behind this core idea must surpass ordinary martial arts by countless times! For example, if a Great Grandmaster’s Ultimate Skill represents the thought level of a professor, then ordinary martial arts at best reach the level of a university student. There’s a world of difference between them!

Take the Tai Chi and Bagua Palm created by the Great Grandmaster Zhang Sanfeng, for example. The core idea of Tai Chi combines the Yin-Yang and Five Elements theories from the Yi Family. It is profound with deep meaning, extensively delineating the ultimate principles of Yin-Yang, and every move is created based on this foundation. Consequently, each technique is implicitly aligned with the principles of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements, integrating strength and softness, and cultivating both internally and externally. At a glance, they appear soft and slow, yet every move conceals the power of a Thunderbolt, and each has a deep level of sophistication.

The same goes for Bagua Palm. Its core concept originates from the Eight Trigrams generated from the Four Symbols in *The Book of Changes*. The Eight Trigrams, with their complex combinations, are unfathomably versatile; a slight change brings about a different hexagram.

This is the biggest difference between ordinary Martial Arts and Ultimate Skills!

It’s like building a house. Ordinary Martial Arts just lay the foundation for you; how to construct the house is entirely up to you to figure out. Ultimate Skills, on the other hand, not only lay a solid foundation but also clarify the blueprints for you. As long as you follow the blueprint, you won’t lag behind at all!

Whether it’s the Yin-Yang Tai Chi or the mysterious Bagua, their core ideas have been passed down for a thousand years. The philosophy, principles, and theories they encompass are so much deeper than the Yue Family’s fast-track lethal techniques and the punitive concept of the Unlimited Fighting Technique, aren’t they?

Take, for example, the lost Dharma Ultimate Skill; its core idea is the explication of Buddhist principles! Since Buddha is formless and can transform into anything, the Shaolin Martial Arts created from the Dharma Ultimate Skill as a blueprint are multifarious. And this is what Ultimate Skills are!

Once Zhang Beixing realized this, his mind cleared, and he started to have more thoughts. He also finally understood why it was so hard to achieve the status of Great Grandmaster—the idea of creating a Martial Arts with a foundational concept alone was like the Creation of the World, carving out an entirely new path.

Therefore, what he needed to prioritize before anything else was still figuring out the core purpose of the Ultimate Skill he wanted to create, and what its central idea was!

...

Zhang Beixing was striving to create an Ultimate Skill, hoping to break through to the Great Grandmaster level.

「Shishi Military District.」

Meanwhile, his presence as an outsider here had inevitably attracted the attention of other senior officials, even though he rarely came down the mountain.

”Huo, I heard you placed an outsider in the back mountains of our military district a few days ago. What’s that about?”

Inside Huo Honghao’s office, a middle-aged man of similar age and rank sat drinking tea. He looked at Huo Honghao and asked the question.

Hearing his inquiry, Huo Honghao waved his hand, ”It’s nothing much. Just a young friend I know. He’s only twenty-one but already a martial arts Grandmaster, quite promising. He’s currently preparing to break through to the Great Grandmaster level and needs a quiet place. I thought our military district’s back mountain was quite secluded, so I brought him over.”

”A twenty-one-year-old martial arts Grandmaster?”

Pondering Huo Honghao’s words, the other officer raised his eyebrows slightly. ”Are you referring to Zhang Beixing, who has been quite popular online recently?”

”Yes, that’s him!”

”I see. I was wondering why that young man looked so familiar. To achieve such accolades at his age is truly extraordinary. But, breaking through to the Great Grandmaster level... is he sure he can do it?”

The officer expressed his skepticism.

As senior officials in the military district, although they didn’t practice martial arts themselves, they had some understanding of Great Xia’s traditional Martial Arts. They were also aware of the different Martial Arts realms.

They knew that a Great Grandmaster hadn’t appeared for over seven hundred years. And now, twenty-one-year-old Zhang Beixing declared he would become a Great Grandmaster. This was despite his recent incredible feat of defeating opponents across the entire country.
