Chapter 368: Chapter 167: Advancing to Great Grandmaster, Creating an Astonishing Ultimate Skill!

Looking at the new additions on Zhang Beixing’s homepage, people felt something was slightly amiss with the way things were developing. Consequently, they clicked on his latest post and discovered it was a text-only entry.

**Grandmaster Inventory, Number Two: Shaolin Temple of the Song Mountain!**

**Introduction:** Shaolin Temple of the Song Mountain was founded in the 19th year of the Taihe era during the Northern Wei dynasty. It is one of the origins of Buddhism and a birthplace of Great Xia kung fu. Known as the ancestral court of the Zen Sect and a sacred place of Martial Arts, it is praised as the world’s number one famous temple. The abbot is Shi Yongxin, 53 years old. The temple has 18 bronze Arhats, each with individual strength at the Pseudo Grandmaster level. Their collective strength is comparable to that of a Grandmaster.

**Pros:** Scenic beauty, rich history, well-preserved historical and cultural heritage, comprehensive consumer services, electronic prayer fish, QR code true Buddha—their main focus is keeping up with the times! Light electronic sandalwood incense, worship the cyber true Buddha.

**Cons:** Despite its status as a sacred Martial Arts site, the Martial Arts practiced within are mostly for show, deceptive, and fake. Although it is the ancestral court of the Zen Sect, many monks in the temple lack Buddhist spirit. They are driven by quick success, eating vegetarian by day and reveling with models in nightclubs by night. They do not adhere to any monastic disciplines and are thoroughly engrossed in the material world.

**Overall Assessment:** Buddha, ineffably wonderful. If you seek blessings, it’s one hundred per visit—sincerity brings results, no bargaining admitted!

**Recommended Rating:** One and a half stars

Zhang Beixing’s first work directly bombarded the Shaolin Temple of the Song Mountain. The words were incredibly sharp, holding nothing back. Especially the final assessment, which stripped away the last veil of decency from Shaolin Temple. It mercilessly exposed their truest, filthiest aspects to the public.

”What a saying! ’If you seek blessings, it’s one hundred per visit.’ Since Shi Yongxin took over, Shaolin Temple really has lost its flavor. This once-sacred Buddhist place has become utterly filled with the stench of money! I heard that the robe Shi Yongxin wears is worth 160,000. People like him should be cast into the eighteenth level of Hell!”

”You’re not wrong. I really don’t understand why so many people still flock to Shaolin Temple when Shi Yongxin’s reputation is so tarnished. Aren’t they just asking to be ripped off?”

”Um... could it be that we don’t go to Shaolin Temple not to worship Buddha, but just because the environment there is nice, and that’s why we go?”

”True. Even though Shi Yongxin has made a mess of Shaolin Temple, the environment itself is still quite pleasant.”

”Those people at the temple sure know how to live it up, huh? Good heavens, they’re like completely different people day and night! With that knack for being two-faced, it’s no wonder they’re raking in money!”

”So, Brother Bei challenged Shaolin Temple because of this? He’s truly a man of bold character!”

People already knew what Shaolin Temple and Shi Yongxin were all about. They had also recently seen a video of Zhang Beixing fighting eighteen Shaolin monks. Consequently, when they viewed Zhang Beixing’s inventory post about Shaolin Temple, aside from feeling immensely satisfied, it didn’t elicit much other emotion. After all, in the end, these were just a few lines of text. Were they expected to get so agitated by these few lines that they’d jump around? That obviously didn’t make sense.

The netizens remained quite calm.

Meanwhile, the Martial Artists who saw this video furrowed their brows. They had already sensed something was amiss when Zhang Beixing’s Grandmaster rankings were updated without warning. Now, after seeing the Shaolin inventory, that uneasy feeling intensified.

If they recalled correctly, there were no grudges between Shaolin and Zhang Beixing. So why would Zhang Beixing suddenly attack Shaolin out of the blue?

Fine, a fight is a fight. But to then post about it online and lambast Shaolin so harshly? Even if what you said is true, you should understand the principle of ’leaving some leeway so you can meet again on good terms.’ Was it really necessary to be so ruthless?

Moreover, Shaolin isn’t even in the Grandmaster rankings. Why have there been changes to the Grandmaster rankings?

The Martial Artists pondered, growing more confused and perplexed by the many suspicious aspects of the matter. However, they were certain of one thing: Zhang Beixing was definitely up to no good!

Therefore, to find out what exactly Zhang Beixing was scheming, they scrolled down and clicked on another of his works. They discovered its content was just like the previous one: another inventory video.

**Grandmaster Inventory, Number Three: Merchant City’s Taizu Long Fist Martial Gym!**

**Introduction:** Taizu Long Fist is also known as the Thirty-Two Stance Long Fist, Song Taizu Fist, Zhao Family Fist, and Hong Fist. Legend says this fist style was used by Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin during his conquests. It places special emphasis on the close coordination and display of ’hands,’ ’eyes,’ ’movement technique,’ and ’footwork.’ The style is heroic and unrestrained, elegant yet possessing a surging, fierce power, earning it the title ’the mother of all fists.’ The current head of this school is Tian Fenglin, a Martial Arts Grandmaster.

**Pros:** Rigorous routines, expansive movements, distinct techniques, and agile footwork that skillfully blends hardness and softness.

**Cons:** Overly bound by convention. While possessing the imposing aura of a swimming dragon, it lacks lightning-fast speed. Its overall power needs improvement.

**Overall Assessment:** Its techniques are difficult to counter before being deciphered. Once understood, they are easily overcome. Practitioners should take heed: either secure victory swiftly and decisively, or develop new, unconventional variations. Otherwise, achieving true mastery will be difficult.
