Beastmaster of the Ages

Lin Tianjian unleashed his biggest gambit using the five types of lightning from his staff. The two former moves, Vajra Fiendbanish and Righteous Fiendbanish, only used one type of lightning each but this one used all five!

The five skulls on the staff, colored gold, white, violet, black and green respectively, emitted enough lightning to form a massive worldending god of lightning tens of millions of meters in height. It stood tens of times taller than Imperator Jian and looked like a true deity of the universe. It had seven eyes, two of them completely shut with the other five each representing one of the lightning types that raged wildly across the firmament.

The combined power of the five types of lightning threatened to end the world as they knew it! An incredibly thick pillar of five-colored lightning about tens of millions of meters wide came blasting out of the five eyes of the worldending lightning god, threatening to erase the entire Myriadbolt Plaza from existence. Imperator Jian was dead set on killing Tianming no matter the cost.

”Li Tianzi, do you think you can defend your brother? You can’t even defend yourself!” Lin Tianjian’s cold voice rang across the entire capital. ”This ultimate move is an ancient legacy of us violetblitzians, designed specifically to kill imperatores! You two should be honored that I used it on you!”

The massive pillar of mixed lightning came crashing down towards the brothers. Tianming knew that he wouldn’t be able to take it. This was something that Imperator Jian had unleashed at the cost of permanently damaging his foundations. It was much stronger than any single-colored lightning strike he had unleashed before.

Li Tianzi’s expression turned grim. ”Tianming, victory will be decided in the next moment! Find a chance to destroy his cosmic constellation!”

”Got it!” Tianming didn’t even ask him what he had planned and put his whole trust in him. They were no doubt in grave danger, but it was also an opportunity. Lin Tianjian took it for granted that this would be the killing move and would no doubt let his guard down.

Tianming didn’t evade when the strike that could kill him got nearer and nearer. He summoned all his lifebound beasts back and fused with them, preparing to gamble with his life. All ten totem swords and the Grand-Orient Sword was out. Once more, he charged up on Universe Starfall, the very same oue that had killed Lin Xiaoting earlier. He didn’t worry or doubt Li Tianzi in the slightest and focused on Lin Tianjian alone as if the pillar of lightning didn’t exist!

”A laughable attempt!” Imperator Jian laughed. Though he could tell that Tianming was going to use the move that killed his son, he didn’t pay it any heed. He was indeed impressed at how the strike seemed capable of ending universes and cosmic gods by extension. Yet, Tianming’s level was far too low. There was no way his attack would be able to overpower his lightning pillar.

”Li Tianzi might survive this, but you won’t, Li Tianming!” Imperator Jian confidently watched as the pillar almost connected with Tianming. Even if Tianming died, there was nothing he could do to bring back his son. No matter what, the violetblitzians had suffered a disaster that day.

Everyone watched as the moment of Tianming’s death crept ever closer. Then, something suddenly changed. Li Tianzi seemed to have charged up on some kind of power, turning his Sky Plundering Arm gold. It was a plunderer ability that Tianming had yet to obtain. The eye on the palm was completely gold! Right before the pillar collided, a golden universal ray of light shot out from the yin-yang fish at the center of the Sky Plundering Eye.

”Have you asked me for permission before trying to kill my brother?!” Li Tianzi laughed heartily as his massive body appeared completely golden from the intense light of the beam, which crashed against the five-lightning pillar.

Then, a stunning sight unraveled before them. Though the pillar seemed like the most power any person could unleash in the Realm of Chaos, the golden beam appeared to push back with even more force! The beam gradually grew wider and longer, turning into a massive pillar of gold light that seemed even sturdier than the other one. The five-lightning pillar withered away from the clash before crumbling completely, Imperator Jian’s most powerful move neutralized just like that.

”Watch and learn, Tianming. This is Skylightsteal!” Li Tianzi said.

”Sky, light and steal...” Tianming muttered the three words under his breath. He could feel a terrifying, foreign power coming from the golden beam. It didn’t seem to belong in this universe. ”Was this power plundered from outside the universe?”

He didn’t overthink the matter. Right when the golden pillar exploded forth, he unleashed his most powerful sword strike without hesitation, with all the power and speed he was able to muster by trusting Li Tianzi. Once more, Violetblitz Capital got to witness the apex of swordsmanship from the Starfall Pantheon. Universe Skyfall!

The golden beam that crushed the pillar shot through Imperator Jian’s body, striking the starsource that he swallowed earlier right before Tianming’s strike connected. The sword flash was so quick that the imperator could barely react. It cleaved a majority of his middlekin astrons away with pure killing power. Imperator Ji didn’t have any defenses up at all and ended up horribly injured.

”You... dastardly sky plunderers!” Imperator Jian’s eyes burned with rage and disbelief as his body continued to collapse in on itself.
