Beastmaster of the Ages

Lin Tianjian was certain that his final move would be enough to kill Tianming, only for the brothers’ counterattack to completely ruin those plans! Li Tianzi’s Skylightsteal, especially, had neutralized the lightning pillar almost entirely and forced the Violetblitz starsource out of his body.

The middlekin astrons in his body continued to crumble from Universe Skyfall, having suffered immense damage. The violetblitzians who witnessed it were completely shaken and crushed by the defeat of the strongest among them. Their imperator had lost to the two imperial sons of Skyplunder!

”No, this is impossible! They are nowhere near imperatores in power!”

”The golden beam from earlier was insane!”

”I thought that Myriadbolt Plaza would be destroyed. Who could’ve expected this...”

Imperator Jian widened his eyes angrily, glaring at Tianming and Li Tianzi as if he had something else to say, but he no longer had that chance. His injuries were already spotted by Imperator Feng from afar.

Though the imperator had been caught up in a battle against Yueling Ji, he was prepared to zip away at any moment. His flaming body flashed like a flaming star, streaking across the firmament with his massive sword of flame. He came slashing down at Imperator Jian’s head from above, bisecting what remained of his body!

”Aaaaaagh!” Lin Tianjian’s eyes widened as his hundred-thousand-meter body fell apart.

”Old dog, now all three generations of your family have been sent to the next life!” Li Yanfeng yelled. He then pocketed the Violetblitz starsource.

The flaming sword had cleaved through from top to bottom. Imperator Jian’s body could no longer hold from all the damage and exploded in all directions. The death of an imperator looked like the collapse of an entire universe. The bright violet lightning gradually faded away as chunks of the imperator rained down on Myriadbolt Plaza.

All of the cosmic gods there, whether they were violetblitzians, firemaples, torchdragonoids or aquamars were utterly flabbergasted. The sight of the exploding emperor was far more unbelievable than seeing him defeated at the hands of the brothers. Imperator Jian’s death was witnessed by everyone in Violetblitz Capital.

”The imperator... has passed away!”

”Heavens! What will happen to us now that the imperator is gone?”

”We lost our previous imperator and the imperial son too! We’re doomed!”

”It’s over for the violetblitzians!”

Panic spread across Violetblitz Capital as the cosmic gods lost their minds, feeling the death of their imperator as a painful stab to the heart. In contrast to their fear and panic, the firemaples displayed even more power than before.

”The old crook is dead! Good riddance! The firemaples shall rise above the violetblitzians!”

”From now on, Imperator Feng will rule this starcage!”

Yueling Ji who had failed to stop Li Yanfeng and Yueling Tu watched the whole thing, wide eyed. The star of lightning had scattered completely, leaving only the massive flaming primocosmic god behind. It was none other than Imperator Feng, hovering proudly above Violetblitz Capital.

”Impossible!”

”Lin Tianjian is... dead?”

The Yueling imperatores felt like this was a dream. It had happened far too quickly! How could a peak elite imperator who had lived for hundreds of millennia die in that fashion? It wouldn’t have turned out this way if Imperator Jian wasn’t so insistent on killing Tianming. Nobody could’ve predicted such an outcome.

Even with all that, this wasn’t the end of the affair of the violetblitzians and firemaples. Imperator Feng raised the starsource high and cast his blazing gaze across the entire capital. ”Today, Violetblitz Starcage will change forever! Lin Tianjian is dead. I, Li Yanfeng, will be the ruler of this world from now on. The firemaples shall rule in the capital! Violetblitzians who surrender will be spared. Those who don’t shall not be shown mercy!”

A new empire was born from the ashes of the old capital. Countless violetblitzians shed tears in sorrow, but there were still many who would rather die than surrender. The grudge between the two races stretched too far back into their history for many of them to just give it up.

Li Tianzi hurriedly left with Tianming. The two of them landed on Myriadbolt Plaza. Seeing Lin Tianjian’s body eradicated completely by Li Yanfeng’s strike, they breathed sighs of relief. The toughest objective of the day had been achieved. Worth noting was how Imperator Jian’s death only followed shortly after the death of his son.

”That was amazing! Wouldn’t Lin Xiaoting be grateful that his dad joined him in the afterlife in almost no time at all?” Ying Huo said, snickering.

”That asshole Li Yanfeng came in to steal our kill!” Meow Meow immediately collapsed into slumber after it said that.

”Hurry up! It’s time for us to collect our spoils.” Bai Feng was the one who was most impatient to get Tianming to improve so that it could grow stronger. It was pining after the dazzling radiance.

Then, Imperator Ji, clad in her deep blue gown, landed not far away and looked at Li Tianzi coldly. ”How dare you join the civil war between the violetblitzians and firemaples? You even worked with Li Yanfeng to kill Imperator Jian! You’re in big trouble!”

”Cut your bullshit!” Li Tianzi snapped. ”What does their civil war have to do with us? We only came here to settle grudges that you and your sisters created! And we got what we came for. Tianming, let’s go!”

Tianming called Zi Zhen to join them as they left the capital for their true objective: the dazzling radiance.
