Beastmaster of the Ages

Tianming nodded and agreed with his lifebound beasts. He looked up at Imperator Long and said, ”Let’s go up there together and drag her back down!”

Imperator Long and the Yueling Long of the Flameyellow Continent were ever so lofty and above the common masses. She looked down on everything like she owned all of it. However, Tianming would never submit to either version of her! Just like how Lady Long had died by his hand, Imperator Long would perish all the same!

”Let’s go!” He roared and surged his sword ki. Turning to look at the battlefield where Li Muyang and the Adjudicator were at, he noted that the region had been completely covered in the tint of blood. It looked like a hell of blood akin to the size of Vermillion Bird had appeared right next to it. The Adjudicator’s massive 200-thousand-meter tall body clashed with Li Muyang time and again. Most people from outside the blood hell could barely make out who had the upper hand.

”For my father... for the sky plunderers... For Vermillion Bird and Nullity... For the entire Realm of Chaos! I can’t afford to lose to an arrogant woman like you!” Tianming shot into the air, surrounded by the phoenix, thunderfiend, dragon-turtle, world three and the three souls of the Celestial Sourcepath Progenitor. The beasts launched Sundering Cage, Genesis Scourge and Myriadkui Ascension in unison, a combination attack that seemed threatening enough to sway Yueling Long. She was even more wary of it, given how she was aware of the three soul attacks that were mixed into it!

”What pointless little tricks!” Imperator Long had wanted to absolutely decimate Tianming and began to gather all her sword ki for the killing slash, only for Tianming to unleash his killer move, Constellationsteal, with the Starplundering Claw! The green dots of light on his Sky Plundering Hand fused into the yin-yang fish within it. Thanks to his beasts’ attack, the claw strike made it through the heavy clouds of sword ki and reached Imperator Long’s Apex Imperial Constellation, pinning it down violently and instantly absorbing the complex knowledge that the constellation contained and sending it into Tianming’s brain.

”How dare you?!” Imperator Long raged violently and slashed with both swords. Yet, Ying Huo and the rest managed to block her powerful cosmoforce, leaving Tianming completely untouched. The claw strike caused her cosmic constellation to crumble for good!

Imperator Long thought that she had the perfect counter for Tianming’s Constellationsteal. She would’ve fused her Godless South Magma Imperius and Godless North Blitz Imperius swords together to block Constellationsteal, but she didn’t expect Tianming’s beasts’ attacks to pose so much of a threat that she had to respond to them no matter what, allowing the Starplundering Claw to slip through!

”This is where the show really starts! I’ll show you what a real emperor looks like!” Once Tianming’s Constellationsteal began to take effect, he backed away quickly with his lifebound beasts. His mind was filled with boundless knowledge about the cosmic constellation, allowing him to morph it into one that suited the path of rulership even more than before. A massive imperial star formed in the air. This was the true descent of an emperor, peerless like no other and dominating all beneath him!

”Impossible!” Yueling Long watched as Tianming’s cosmic constellation manifested while her own crumbled away with unspeakable disbelief. She knew how Constellationsteal worked. The thing she really couldn’t accept was how Tianming’s Apex Imperial Constellation seemed even more powerful and absolute than her own, making him look like the true ruler of the universe!

She had spent her entire life studying the path of a ruler and thought that she was stronger than everyone else as far as that path was concerned! Yet, this white-haired youth had achieved more than she could ever dream of! What in the world had he experienced for him to be able to reach such heights?

Before she could react, Tianming’s white-haired cosmic-god body formed within the Apex Imperial Constellation. He was fused together with the constellation and was the sole ruler of the universe. Within his eyes were two yet unhatched lifebound-beast eggs. They shone black and gold with endless might when he cast his imperial gaze upon the world.

The whole transformation had taken but a single instant since he unleashed Constellationsteal. He set his cold gaze upon Yueling Long, who looked as haggard as the defeated Lady Long in the other universe.

After her cosmic constellation collapsed from the Starplundering Claw, her cosmic-god body sustained heavy injuries and began to crumble. Even her twin black-gold swords seemed drained and hung listlessly near her. The part that hurt the most was how her imperial aura had been absolutely pushed away by Tianming’s domination, greatly destabilizing her mental state. She was no longer able to maintain the will of an imperial ruler, especially not before a true ruler like Tianming. Her pride and determination crumbled away like shattered pieces of ceramic.

”It’s over,” Tianming said without the slightest hint of mercy. He was filled with killing intent.

At that moment, a piercing shriek could be heard from a distant battlefield. It was from the oldest of the Yueling imperatores, Imperator Ji! Yueling Long turned to look and saw her blue-clad big sister being whipped by Li Tianzi’s black chains nonstop, struggling to push back against the overwhelming edge he had.

”Big Sister!” Yueling Long’s eyes were red with sorrow. Her heart felt like it was being cut into countless tiny strips. After Tianming had broken free from the Adjudicator’s grasp earlier to face off against Yueling Long in Zi Zhen’s stead, Zi Zhen went to intercept Imperator Tu, completely turning the tide of battle!

It ended with Tianming versus Imperator Long, Zi Zhen versus Imperator Tu, Li Tianzi versus Imperator Ji and Li Yanfeng versus Imperator Tong, a four-on-four fight that allowed Tianming’s side to break out of the dreadlock. When it came to fighting one-on-one, Li Tianzi was more than enough to handle Imperator Ji and easily got the upper hand within moments.

”Die, Li Tianzi!” Imperator Ji roared in terror as tears of blood streamed from her eyes. She once possessed an incredibly deep ocean of elegance, yet it was nowhere to be seen. Her cosmic-god body began to crumble, causing her to leak away the power of stars and weakening her greatly.

”Looks like you’re the one who’ll be dying instead!” Li Tianzi continued his relentless assault without showing mercy. His four lifebound beasts launched barrages of bombastic abilities all around Imperator Ji. Then, his black chain lashed out at her ceaselessly, chipping away at her body chunk by chunk. Her cosmic-god essence was eventually reduced to ashes while she raged on helplessly. With a final agonized shriek, she perished for good.

Imperator Long, Imperator Tu and Imperator Tong had never experienced anything that was as much of a bad omen as witnessing that harrowing sight.
