Beastmaster of the Ages

The nostalgic feeling lasted only a single moment. Tianming was all too aware that this wasn’t the same as back then. The future was yet to be set and the people there with him would decide how it would unfold in the Realm of Chaos.

”Tianming, do you have enough dazzling radiances to break through this time around?” Li Muyang asked.

”There’s quite a lot. I should be able to advance to the next level,” Tianming said. He left out how Zi Zhen could reach even greater heights with them too.

”Good. We should focus all we have on preparing for the grand battle, then,” Sage Chen said. His massive ninety-thousand-meter form glowed brightly like the starry sky. He smiled at Tianming with a look of admiration. ”Back at Vermillion Bird Starcage, you had the capabilities of an eighth-level primocosmic god, and now, you’ve killed both Lin Xiaoting and Lin Tianjian. You’re growing too quickly!”

”That’s how the hope of the Realm of Chaos should be!” Sage Chen said with a hearty laugh. He shot Tianming a thumbs-up. ”Tianming, keep charging ahead! No matter whether the Adjudicator decides to lash out or not, we will block it all for you!”

”I understand. I won’t let you all down,” Tianming said.

Wei Jing then said, ”However, Imperator Ji and Imperator Tu are back here and close together. If anything’s going to transpire, it’ll start from them, so be careful.”

”If it’s just the four of them, we imperatores are able to handle them. In fact, we’re much stronger,” Li Yanfeng said, turning to Li Tianzi and Zi Zhen. ”Tianzi and this young lady here really surprised me back at Violetblitz Capital!”

It was one thing for Li Tianzi to be powerful. He was expected to be about as strong as imperatores. Zi Zhen’s fearsome performance, on the other hand, came out of nowhere. ”I even recall Imperator Tu’s face getting absolutely swollen thanks to her slap! Hahahaha!”

The others were just as surprised to hear that. Li Muyang looked closely at her without any comment, merely nodding. ”I will keep an eye on the four from Yueling and make preparations where appropriate.”

”I think I can set a trap for them in return,” Tianming said. ”I will absorb the dazzling radiances in front of them! If they can’t hold back and try to strike at me, we can use that as a pretext to take them down!”

Li Tianzi’s eyes brightened. ”It’s not a bad idea. They don’t know that Imperator Feng has come here to us. Perhaps they still think they have more imperatores on their side.”

Li Muyang gave it some thought and said, ”We can give it a try. Tianming, you’re always trying to grasp the initiative, huh?”

”Of course. If we can strike first, we should. I’m only worried that they won’t fall for it.”

”If they don’t, so be it. We have no reason to act against them,” Li Muyang said.

If Tianming’s plan worked, it would be great. They didn’t stand to lose anything either way. Tianming would simply absorb his dazzling radiances as planned for a breakthrough, which would open up even more options for him.

The four imperator sisters gathered in Kunruler Palace, expressions grim. Imperator Long’s black-gold dragon robes made her seem like the kind of person who dominated all. She furrowed her brow and said, ”They actually killed Lin Tianjian? But how?”

A look of caution swept across Imperator Ji’s cold, deep-blue eyes. ”It’s Li Tianzi. He suddenly used some sky-plunderer skill to neutralize Lin Tianjian’s killing move.”

”Li Tianzi... It seems like Li Muyang isn’t the only problematic person we have to deal with within Skyplunder Capital,” Imperator Long said.

”There’s that wild woman too,” Imperator Tu said.

”Don’t worry. I won’t forgive her for bullying my precious sister,” Imperator Long said coldly.

Imperator Tong stood on the side, dazed in a cute way. She was dressed in a goose-yellow dress and didn’t look as imposing as her sisters. ”What do we do next?”

Imperator Long said, ”The Adjudicator’s plans have been messed up due to the attack of the firemaples. Still, the only side that really suffered losses is the violetblitzians. Yueling Starcage isn’t affected at all. We just have to wait for the Adjudicator’s instructions.”

”Li Tianming will no doubt start absorbing dazzling radiances to catch up.” Imperator Tu’s red dress clung tightly to her spicy figure. There was a clear sign of hatred in her eyes. ”If the Adjudicator is planning to make a move, it probably wouldn’t take too long. If Li Tianming is allowed to break through, things would get even worse.”

She wanted to pay Zi Zhen back for the humiliation as soon as possible. Their grudge only grew deeper and deeper.

”That’s right.” Imperator Long nodded. ”Li Tianming must die! His reputation has already surpassed that of Li Muyang and Li Tianzi. He’s become the spiritual support of all Mu Clan, firemaple and Vermillion Bird cosmic gods! Once he dies, things in the Realm of Chaos would quickly settle.”

A hint of worry surfaced on Imperator Ji’s face. ”Then again, what does the sky plunderers’ grand plan have to do with Yueling Starcage? What if the Adjudicator gets us to do his dirty work and takes out the competition? Would he really leave the Realm of Chaos for us to rule?”

”Don’t speak nonsense,” Imperator Long said, glaring at her sister. ”We have already made our choice, so there’s no turning back now. Without the Adjudicator, the Realm of Chaos would be the sky plunderers’. There would be no room for Yueling Starcage in a world like that!”

”But...” Imperator Tong did find something odd about it and timidly said, ”Aren’t we Li Tianming’s wives? We can be said to be on the sky plunderers’ side in a way.”

”What kind of crap are you spouting?!” Imperator Long snapped. She raised a brow and glared at Imperator Tong. ”Sister, there’s no turning back for us. My advice to you now is to not think about unnecessary things. Li Tianming might be impressive, but he’s running out of chances. Are you saying you want to remain his concubine and keep serving him for life?”

Imperator Long was the most talented and authoritative in Yueling Starcage, which also made her the most ambitious one. There was no way she would settle for being a concubine and remain under the foot of her man. She wanted to be the strongest female imperator that ruled over everything.
