Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1833 - 1624: Trying their best

After leaving the Ice Realm upon accomplishing her goal, Maria disguised herself as a normal girl with brown hair and green eyes. She was accompanied by Hilde, who was also in disguise to avoid drawing too much attention to them. Together, the two looked like sisters.

Having set foot in the human realm after almost five hundred years, Hilde was ecstatic. She was acting like a country bumpkin, looking around everywhere in awe.

Although the looming war against the chaos organization cast a dreadful atmosphere everywhere, people still went about their daily lives, believing in their rulers and mostly in Alex and his friends to save them. Some of the populace willingly enlisted in the armies that each nation was preparing to face the enemy. This showed how much they valued the hard-earned peace, and everyone was somehow trying their best to contribute.

As Maria and Hilde arrived in Cosmos on the magic train, they were struck by the vibrant and diverse nature of the medium-sized town. It was a place where various races, including humans, elves, and even some demons, coexisted harmoniously.

The architecture of Cosmos blended fantasy and modern elements seamlessly. The buildings were of a moderate height, creating a sense of balance and proportion throughout the town. Intricate spires, carved with intricate designs, rose from some of the structures, giving them an almost magical appearance.

The streets were bustling with activity, as people of all backgrounds went about their daily lives. Merchants hawked their wares from colorful stalls, the scents of exotic spices and freshly baked goods filling the air. Elven craftsmen could be seen working on delicate, ethereal-looking sculptures, while human artisans showcased their skills in metalwork and pottery.

Despite the diversity of the inhabitants, a sense of unity and community pervaded the town. Neighbors greeted each other warmly, and children of different races played together in the town square, their laughter echoing through the streets.

As Maria and Hilde walked through the streets of Cosmos, they were struck by the harmonious coexistence of the various races. It was a place where the boundaries between fantasy and reality seemed to blur, creating a truly unique and captivating atmosphere.

As Maria and Hilde strolled through the bustling streets of Cosmos, they stumbled upon a lively festival that was in full swing. Hildeʼs eyes lit up with excitement, and like a giddy child, she grabbed Mariaʼs hand and eagerly pulled her towards the vibrant festivities.

”Maria, look at all of this! We have to try everything!” Hilde exclaimed, her voice brimming with enthusiasm. Having spent so much time in the human world, where such carefree indulgence was often frowned upon, Hilde was determined to make the most of this opportunity.

Maria could only sigh and smile fondly at her friendʼs infectious energy. She knew there was no point in trying to rein in Hildeʼs adventurous spirit, so she simply allowed herself to be swept up in the joyous atmosphere.

The two women found themselves immersed in a whirlwind of sights, sounds, and flavors. They wandered through colorful stalls, each one offering a tantalizing array of treats and trinkets. Hilde eagerly sampled the various delicacies, her eyes widening with delight at each new discovery.

Maria, though more reserved, couldnʼt help but be drawn in by the sheer vibrancy of the festival. She marveled at the intricate craftsmanship of the elven artisans, and even found herself tapping her feet to the lively music that filled the air.

As they meandered through the throngs of revelers, Hilde couldnʼt contain her excitement. She dragged Maria from one attraction to the next, determined to experience every aspect of the festival. From vibrant dance performances to thrilling carnival rides, Hilde immersed herself in the joyous festivities, her laughter ringing out like a bell.

Maria, though occasionally exasperated by Hildeʼs boundless energy, couldnʼt help but be caught up in the infectious spirit of the celebration. She found herself slowly letting go of her inhibitions, embracing the carefree atmosphere and the opportunity to indulge in the wonders of Cosmos.

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow over the bustling streets of Cosmos, Maria and Hilde had experienced every single stall and attraction the festival had to offer.

Hildeʼs infectious enthusiasm had led them on a whirlwind tour, from sampling exotic delicacies at the food stalls to trying their hand at various carnival games. Maria, initially a bit hesitant, had found herself swept up in the joyous energy, her laughter and delight matching Hildeʼs at every turn.

As the twilight settled in, the two friends made their way to a nearby mountain, where they could enjoy a panoramic view of the festivities below. Settling down on a grassy knoll, they found themselves a spot to relax and savor the evening.

Hilde, her cheeks flushed from the exhilaration of the day, turned to Maria with a wide grin.

”Isnʼt this just wonderful, Maria? Itʼs been so long since Iʼve been able to experience something like this. The human world can be so dull and restrictive sometimes.”

Maria nodded in agreement, taking a lick of the ice cream they had purchased from one of the stalls.

”It is quite remarkable, Hilde. The vibrancy and diversity of this place are truly enchanting. Iʼm glad we were able to come and explore it together.”

Suddenly, the sky was set ablaze with a dazzling display of fireworks, the vibrant colors and patterns dancing across the night sky. Hilde and Maria watched in awe, their eyes sparkling with wonder as the explosive bursts of light illuminated the festival below.

As the fireworks continued their breathtaking performance, the two sat in comfortable silence, savoring the moment and the delicious ice cream. For Hilde, it was a much-needed respite from the monotony of the Ice realm, and for Maria, it was a chance to experience the magic and wonder of Cosmos in a way she had never thought possible. To enjoy some peaceful time before going back and strategize for the final clash, she was sure her man, her lover must already be back. She missed him dearly, longing for his touch, she couldnʼt wait to meet him soon.
