Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1824 - 1615: 3rd Contract

Finally, with a burst of speed and an earth-shaking roar, the ice bear leaped forward, its claws extended in a deadly arc as it pounced on the giant white snake with unrelenting ferocity. The snake twisted and writhed in a desperate attempt to escape, but the ice bearʼs icy grip held fast, forcing it to admit defeat and strangling it for a moment.

With a sense of determination and compassion, Maria approached the giant white snake as it lay defeated on the icy forest floor. Remembering her previous experience with her first summon, she knew that forming a contract with the serpent could offer a new ally in her battles ahead. Gently reaching out, Maria initiated the ritual of contract-making, invoking the ancient words that bound summoner and summon together in a powerful union.

The giant white snake, recognizing the strength and courage in Mariaʼs eyes, accepted her offer with a silent nod of agreement. As Maria carefully etched her crest onto the serpentʼs forehead, a shimmering light enveloped them both, sealing the pact of loyalty and trust between them.

With the contract now established, the giant white snake rose to its full height, its scales gleaming in the fading light of the day. Maria felt a surge of pride and gratitude for her new ally, knowing that together they would face whatever challenges lay ahead with unity and strength. Her goal was slowly being finished.

As Maria and her two powerful summons stood together in the heart of the forest, the bond between them palpable in the air, a new chapter in their shared journey had begun. It was time to hunt for the third summon.

Together with her two summons, Maria headed deeper into the icy realm. Passing through the white forest, the temperature plummeted even further, but she didnʼt feel the cold at all.

They soon arrived before a vast, frozen lake. The surface of the lake was a mirror-like expanse of solid ice, glistening in the faint light that filtered through the snow-laden trees. Towering, jagged icicles hung from the edges, creating a frozen, crystalline border around the still waters.

The ice itself was flawless, with no cracks or imperfections visible. It appeared to be several feet thick, capable of supporting the weight of even the largest of creatures. Occasional air bubbles were trapped within the ice, creating mesmerizing patterns and swirls that seemed to dance beneath the surface.

Snowdrifts had accumulated along the banks of the lake, their pristine white surfaces undisturbed save for the occasional set of animal tracks leading to and from the icy expanse. The air around the lake was eerily quiet, with only the distant howl of the wind piercing the silence.

Maria and her two powerful summons stood at the edge of this frozen wonder, their breath misting in the frigid air as they surveyed the terrain before them. This lake, though seemingly tranquil, held the promise of more challenges to come as they continued their journey through the icy realm.

With her two summons leading the way, Maria approached the frozen lake, her gaze fixed on the opposite shore. She knew that her next summon awaited her on the other side, residing within a cave.

As they neared the edge of the lake, the sheer vastness of the icy expanse became even more apparent. The frozen surface stretched out before them, its pristine, mirror-like quality reflecting the muted colors of the sky above.

Carefully, Maria and her companions stepped out onto the ice, their footsteps barely making a sound as they crossed the lake. The ice was indeed thick and sturdy, supporting their weight without so much as a creak or groan.

Halfway across the lake, Maria paused, her eyes scanning the distant shore. There, nestled in the side of a towering glacier, was the entrance to a cave – the dwelling place of her next summon, an ice specter.

Picking up the pace, Maria and her two summons swiftly made their way to the opposite bank, their path unimpeded by any obstacles. As they neared the cave, the air grew colder, charged with a palpable energy that sent shivers down Mariaʼs spine.

Steeling her resolve, Maria approached the cave, her summons flanking her on either side. The entrance loomed before them, a gaping maw of ice and shadow, daring them to enter and face whatever lay within.

With a deep breath, Maria stepped forward, her companions close behind, ready to meet the ice specter that would become the newest member of her growing alliance.

Determined to confront the powerful ice specter, Maria steadied her resolve. She knew that this summon would be far more formidable than her previous two, and she wanted to demonstrate her own strength and reliability as their master.

Turning to her two loyal summons, Maria spoke with conviction. ”This next challenge will be a test of our unity. I will display 70% of my full power, and I need you both to stand strong by my side. Together, we will show this ice specter that we are a force to be reckoned with.”

Her summons nodded in understanding, their eyes gleaming with both anticipation and unwavering loyalty. Satisfied, Maria turned towards the gaping entrance of the icy cave, her aura flaring to life as she channeled 80% of her magical energy.

The air around them crackled with power, the temperature dropping even further as Mariaʼs ice-based abilities surged forth. Frost formed on the caveʼs entrance, and the very walls seemed to tremble in the face of her commanding presence.

With purpose in her stride, Maria led the way into the cave, her summons flanking her protectively. The deeper they ventured, the more the air grew charged with the specterʼs icy essence, a tangible power that sent tingles down Mariaʼs spine.

Finally, they arrived in a cavernous chamber, and there, hovering amidst swirling tendrils of frost, was the ice specter – a formidable entity of pure elemental might.

Maria stood tall, her two summons at the ready, as she fixed the specter with a determined gaze.

The ice specterʼs response would be the true test of Mariaʼs strength and her ability to command the respect of her powerful summons.
