Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1831 - 1622: Hilde 1

With the enchanting night scenery of the Ice Realm seared into her memory, Maria turned her attention to preparing for a restful sleep. Reaching into her enchanted item box, she retrieved a modern, well-insulated tent, its compact form belying the cozy and warm interior that awaited her.

Carefully, she set up the sturdy shelter, ensuring it was securely anchored against the gentle, yet persistent winds that whispered across the frozen landscape. As she stepped inside, Maria was immediately enveloped in a sense of comfort and security, the tentʼs interior expertly designed to block out the chill of the icy realm.

Shedding her travel-worn garments, Maria slipped into a set of soft, flannel pajamas – the perfect attire for the chilly environment. She then made her way to the large, fluffy bed situated at the center of the tent, its plush mattress and downy blankets beckoning her to sink into their embrace.

Nestling beneath the cozy covers, Maria felt the tension and fatigue of the dayʼs journey melt away. As she allowed her eyes to drift shut, she was comforted by the knowledge that her trusted summons were standing guard outside the tent, ever vigilant against any potential threats.

The warmth and comfort of the tent, combined with the soothing sounds of the night, soon lulled Maria into a peaceful slumber. Her dreams were filled with visions of the enchanting ice formations and the boundless expanse of the starry sky, a serene respite before the impending confrontation with the mighty Ice Dragon, Hilde.

The following morning, Maria woke up feeling refreshed. She went out, and the morning was beautiful in the Ice Realm as well. Taking a deep breath of the crisp, cool air, she felt her energy and focus returning.

Returning to the tent, she prepared herself a nourishing breakfast, savoring the warmth of a freshly brewed cup of tea. After her meal, she headed to a nearby frozen stream, where she took a brief but invigorating bath, the icy water helping to further sharpen her senses.

Stepping out from the stream, Maria dried off and changed into her combat gear - a reinforced set of insulated armor that would provide protection against the biting winds and the claws of the mighty Ice Dragon, Hilde. Checking that all her equipment was secure and her weapons were at the ready, she felt a surge of determination coursing through her.

Exiting the tent, she cast one last look at the enchanting icy landscape, committing the tranquil scene to memory. She knew that the confrontation with Hilde would be a formidable challenge, but she felt confident and prepared, having taken the time to rest and refresh herself.

With a deep breath, Maria set off, her steps firm and purposeful as she made her way towards the lair of the fearsome Ice Dragon, ready to face the impending battle head-on.

As Maria and her three summons - the Giant Ice Bear, the White Snake, and the Ice Specter - ventured deeper into the mountain, they were greeted by a horde of ice elemental monsters lurking at the base.

Without hesitation, Maria commanded her loyal summons to engage the monsters, knowing that their combined strength and abilities would be more than a match for the icy foes.

The Giant Ice Bear charged forward, its massive paws crushing the smaller ice elementals in its path. The White Snake slithered swiftly, its icy fangs piercing through the monstersʼ defenses, while the Ice Specter manifested ghostly, frozen shards that tore through the enemy ranks.

The battle raged on, the summons working in perfect harmony, their coordinated attacks overwhelming the ice elemental monsters. Maria watched with a calm composure, her trust in her companions unwavering as they cleared a path through the horde, leaving a trail of defeated enemies in their wake.

With each step, the group drew closer to the lair of the mighty Ice Dragon, Hilde. Maria could feel the tension building, but she knew that her summons were more than capable of handling any challenge that lay ahead. United in their resolve, they pressed onward, undaunted by the dangers that awaited them within the frozen mountain.

As Maria and her three loyal summons reached the lair deep within the frozen mountain, they were met with the awe-inspiring sight of the gigantic, white dragon known as Hilde.

Maria couldnʼt help but feel a slight sense of trepidation as the dragonʼs cold, piercing blue eyes fixed upon her. ”So you come to subdue me as well, judging by those three behind you,” Hilde spoke, her deep, rumbling voice reverberating through the icy cavern.

A powerful pressure emanated from the dragon, an overwhelming force that seemed intent on crushing Maria and her companions. But the Ice Empress was no ordinary mage. Summoning the full extent of her formidable ice-based abilities, Maria clashed against the dragonʼs oppressive presence, refusing to be intimidated.

The air crackled with the clash of their icy energies, neither side willing to yield. Mariaʼs summons, the Giant Ice Bear, the White Snake, and the Ice Specter, trembled behind her, awed by the sheer power on display.

Yet, despite the immense pressure, Maria stood her ground, her expression determined and unwavering. She would not be cowed by Hildeʼs might; she had come too far and endured too much to back down now.

The two powerful ice-wielders continued their silent standoff, each measuring the otherʼs strength and resolve, as the tension in the lair reached a crescendo, the outcome of their confrontation still hanging in the balance.

As Hilde rose to her full, majestic height, Maria and her companions were struck by the sheer scale and presence of the colossal ice dragon. The cavern seemed to tremble under the weight of the ancient creatureʼs movements.

”Not bad for a human from the outside world,” Hilde spoke, her deep voice echoing with a hint of amusement. ”Okay, letʼs see how good you are, young girl.”

Maria steeled her resolve, undaunted by the dragonʼs towering form. She knew that this would be a battle of epic proportions, a clash between the might of the Ice Empress and the primal power of the Ice Dragon.

Hildeʼs icy aura intensified, the air around them growing colder, the very moisture in the air crystallizing into shards of ice. Maria responded in kind, her own ice magic surging forth, forming a protective barrier around herself and her summons.

The two ice-wielders began to exchange powerful spells, their attacks colliding in a dazzling display of elemental fury. The ground trembled, and the cavern walls cracked under the strain of the incredible energies being unleashed.

Mariaʼs summons, despite their earlier trepidation, now stood ready to support their mistress, lending their own icy abilities to the battle. The Giant Ice Bear charged forward, its massive claws swiping at the dragonʼs scales, while the White Snake and the Ice Specter maneuvered with agility, striking with venomous fangs and icy spectral blasts.

The clash of the titans had begun, and Maria knew that this would be a battle to remember – a test of her skills and the limits of her ice magic against the ancient and formidable Hilde, the Ice Dragon.
