Warhammer Divine Throne

Becoming a Demon Prince is the dream of all Barbarians, becoming a Demon Prince signifies the true transformation from ”mortal” to ”deity,” from then on they will gain immense power and true immortality. Although no one knows if they will retain their mortal memories and self-awareness after becoming a Demon Prince, there’s no doubt that elevating to a Demon Prince is the highest reward the God of Darkness can bestow upon their followers. The lowly Southern People cannot comprehend this kind of reward.

Gnut’s story continues, and Chaos Mage Chakoy feels that the mist in the camp is somewhat unusual. He turns around and says to Egil: ”Father, the mist is heavy, it’s somewhat strange.”

Egil holds his wine cup, completely still.

”Father?!” Chakoy suddenly notices something wrong with Egil’s condition and quickly shakes Egil’s arm: ”Father! What’s wrong with you?”

”Ugh~” Egil struggles painfully, a lot of blood flows from the corners of his mouth: ”Wine… the wine, it’s poisoned!”

”Poisoned?!” Chakoy thinks quickly, his face drastically changes, it was Hengest, the wine she offered Egil was poisoned!

”Someone! Protect the King!” Chakoy immediately shouts, he signals the Crimson Guard to come and protect the King in the center: ”The King is poisoned!”

The entire Barbarian camp immediately falls into chaos, the Crimson Guard charges through the mist, slaying all Barbarians between them and the King, and then surrounds the King in protection. Chakoy examines the wine cup Hengest toasted with, the Chaos Mage grits his teeth: ”It’s spiral root! That woman, she added enough spiral root to poison our entire tribe!”

”Father, hold on, I’ll prepare an antidote for you immediately!” Chakoy rushes towards the main tent without looking back.

Egil nods painfully, the Divine Chosen Champion of Khorne is extremely resilient, and the blessing from Khorne ensures he won’t be easily overcome by the poison.

In the plains not far from the Barbarian camp, Hengest, the woman, lets out a mocking laugh.

The Barbarians, Egil, the Brittania people, they’re all just pawns in her hands, this child belongs to her, and only to her.

The great Evil God, Prince of Joy Slaanesh has already made a deal with her, the Dark Son in her womb will be sacrificed to Slaanesh in exchange for eternal youth.

This is the oracle she received, foolish Egil thought that the two of them received the same oracle, but in reality, they’re completely different. This is the usual trick of the God of Chaos, they don’t care about the life or death of their followers, and they enjoy this process.

However, she hadn’t gone far before realizing she was surrounded.

Holy Grail Knight Commander Jules leads fifty knights to easily infiltrate the Barbarian camp under the invisibility magic and dense fog created by the Lake God Prophet Anara, destroying two Chaos Hell Cannons.

Things went unexpectedly smoothly, Jules didn’t know why the Barbarians were in turmoil with no real resistance, but he knew once they realized what happened they would launch a frenzied counterattack, so he swiftly retreated.

Hengest’s figure fell into the eyes of Jules and the fifty knights, they immediately realize how foul she is, and what kind of monster is growing in her belly.

One Holy Grail Knight immediately wants to kill her.

But when Lake God Prophet Anara and her brother Count Kaled see Hengest’s appearance clearly, the brother and sister let out a cry of disbelief.

”Elizabeth?! Is it you???”
