Warhammer Divine Throne

After the last ray of sunset disappeared outside the window of the Lake Fairy Tower, a thick fog began to once again envelop the entire Lake Fairy Tower and the area nearby.

On the fourth floor of the tower, on a soft High Elf pinewood bed, Mogiana lay languidly against Laine’s chest, her face filled with blush, feeling the soreness in two places, letting out a sigh: ”I always thought you would come sooner.”

Laine thought, I didn’t come here to do this kind of thing.

That’s definitely not something you say out loud. Laine gently stroked Mogiana’s back, speaking softly with her. The two had been at it from afternoon to evening, and it was time to take a break.

”Laine, it has to be like this from now on, you need to spend some time with me every day.” Mogiana’s wandering gaze took a lot of time to refocus. She held onto Laine’s sleeve and slowly said, like bubbles rising from a fish: ”Regardless of what we need to do, unless it’s something very important, you must spend at least a little time with me each day.”

”That’s not possible.” Laine quickly refused, what kind of request is this?

”You’re not agreeing?! How can you not agree!!” Seeing Laine hesitate, Mogiana, with unknown strength from her soft body, grabbed the front of Laine’s shirt, gritting her teeth: ”From what you’ve gained from being with me, isn’t it enough? Why didn’t you say anything when you were enjoying yourself just now?”

”Your Highness Mogiana, I will spend more time with you, but doing it every day is too much, right? Not to mention whether you can handle it, it’s still not very appropriate!” Laine hurriedly said.

Their affair mustn’t be exposed, otherwise it would be a major scandal.

Therefore, the places where they got intimate were limited to the strictly prohibited Prayer Room on the third floor and the Lake Fairy Tower. After nearly a year of recuperation, Mogiana could barely walk. Seeing this, the Lake God Witch had moved to the Lake Fairy Tower, which was absolutely safe under the Goddess’s fog.

The problem lies here though. The Lake Fairy Tower is evidently a miracle of the Lake Fairy, and knights, even Expedition Knights from all over the Kingdom, come to pray almost daily, seeking the Lady’s protection and blessing.

And then I’m engaging in such activities with Mogiana inside the tower?

What kind of affair is this?

However, Laine also understood Mogiana’s feelings. She had been recuperating for almost a year and could barely walk normally. Who knows how long it will take to recover her Holy Sanctuary strength. Mogiana watched the kingdom’s court in dispute, Casvan being defeated, yet she couldn’t do anything, feeling surely miserable, even hating her negligence and incompetence.

Ever since discovering that intimacy with Laine could hasten her recovery, Mogiana had been eager to be with Laine every day.

Of course, the Lake God Witch knew deep down that speeding up recovery was sometimes just an excuse... She didn’t dare to think about other reasons anymore.

”You don’t have anything to do at night, right? Just with your Dark Elf Maid or that little maid of yours? Your female courtier isn’t even here.” Mogiana’s voice grew quieter and quieter: ”I consider my appearance and figure... not worse than theirs, and now facing troubles... it’s obvious you should help me more, it’s all for healing...”

”...” Laine thought the pace seemed off, he sighed: ”Your Highness Mogiana, how about this, one to two times a week, we can publicly declare those days that I’m inside praying and doing maintenance, if there’s extra time, I’ll arrange it, how about it?”

”Then... for now, alright, hold me up, Laine.” Mogiana finally nodded, her face still full of blush, indicating for Laine to hold her up. Laine nodded, cradled Mogiana in a princess carry, and the two of them went to the dining room.

After preparing a sumptuous dinner, Laine lit the silver candelabra and the magic lamp in the room, the two of them sat across from each other.

”So, the ransom requested by the Empire for Casvan is twenty thousand Gold Crowns?” Dressed in a vase halter-neck jasmine-colored silk gown, with a golden tiara on her head, Mogiana, who had obviously dressed meticulously after getting up, exposed her fair, lovely calves and bare jade feet beneath the gown, charming and lazily beautiful, naturally spoke as she lifted a spoon of thick soup: ”Carl Franz’s capabilities are noteworthy in this regard, Casvan has done his best, but confronting a steam tank requires a Holy Grail Knight.”

”The Empire has fully equipped with firearms and artillery, my lady, I wonder if we should emulate them?” Laine was cutting white bread with a knife and fork, contemplating: ”I think there’s a need.”

”Firearms? You want to equip peasants with firearms?” Mogiana lifted the wine glass, looking out at the thick fog outside the window, yet the bright moonlight pierced through the fog into the room. The Lake God Witch pondered briefly: ”There are no prohibitions against using firearms in the Lady’s commandments, but knights ought not to be equipped with firearms.”

”I understand, knights naturally use cavalry lances and melee weapons for combat.” This point, Laine nodded in agreement.

There are reasons why knights predominantly do not use ranged weapons in combat. Firstly, firearms do not allow time to reload during close-quarters combat. Secondly, because of the additional weight, it is inconvenient to also carry firearms when already equipped with a cavalry lance and a sharp sword.
