Livestream Matchmaking: My Intel Infinitely Refreshes

Chapter 198: Chapter 196: International Server Player

”Marriage has contractual properties, but it’s also a relationship between people. And since it’s a relationship, it’s something you need to put effort into maintaining.”

”Just because you get married and a woman legally becomes your wife doesn’t mean you two will automatically live the life of a normal married couple.”

”A marital relationship requires you to put in the effort to manage it.”

”But I don’t think you’re currently capable of managing a relationship.”

”Why not?” the young man asked subconsciously.

”Bro, think about it. Why did you become a shut-in?”

”Isn’t it because you can’t be bothered to maintain social relationships? Your inner world is already fulfilling, so not dealing with people makes your life a lot easier.”

[Can the streamer please stop spying on me? This is getting weird.]

[Things were going so well, why did you suddenly start describing me?]

[True, I’m just too lazy to socialize. I just want to stay home.]

[A shut-in will definitely regret getting married.]

It was only after a long chat with Xia Yi that Zhang Zhe gradually came to understand the relationship between marriage and a married couple.

Only a very small number of people can get married without maintaining the spousal relationship. That’s right, I’m talking about those who are so wealthy they need to marry for strategic alliances.

Their marriages only need to consider mutual benefits.

But for ordinary people, even those with some capital like A8s or A9s, they still have to gradually build their marital relationship after getting married through matchmaking.

You have to work through your differences, deepen your understanding, and build a consensus on life. Only then can you manage a marriage well.

But most true shut-ins aren’t interested in interpersonal relationships.

Some of them barely even talk to their own parents.

When people like this are pushed into an arranged marriage by their families, it very easily ends in tragedy. Getting cheated on is one of the better outcomes. Some even get scammed by women to the point of bankruptcy or suicide.

”I’ve actually considered not getting married, too.”

The young man sighed and explained his thought process to Zhang Zhe:

”The reason I changed my mind and started going on blind dates was that my dad got sick a while back. My mom was constantly by his side taking care of him, and he used his situation as an example for me.”

”He said that if I don’t get married, when I get old and sick, there’ll be no one around. I could die in my room and no one would know until I started to rot.”

”I thought about it, and that sounded way too miserable.”

”That’s why I started going on blind dates.”

”There’s no need for that kind of worry. That’s a problem you can solve by hiring a caretaker,” Zhang Zhe said, shaking his head. ”That’s why I suggest you try dating first.”

”You’ve been a shut-in for too long. You don’t understand what an intimate relationship is.”

”You need to actually interact with the opposite sex, experience the pros and cons of an intimate relationship, and then reconsider whether you want to get married.”

”But I can’t find anyone to introduce me to people,” the young man said, troubled. ”I don’t have any friends.”

”Since I graduated, I’ve barely talked to anyone.”

”Well...” Zhang Zhe thought for a moment. ”In that case, just go find a Contracted Beast.”

”It’s not really considered shameful to do that these days anyway.”

’The most suitable method for this guy really is to splash some cash and find a girlfriend whose intentions aren’t so pure.’

’Based on how this guy talks, if he goes on blind dates, women will only be interested in his money anyway.’

’The money’s going to be spent sooner or later. His parents probably wouldn’t mind this much.’

”Pay for one?” the young man asked in shock. ”Brother Zhang, is that really okay?”

”For you, it’s okay.”

”The impression I get from you is, how should I put it... you’re the type of chubby shut-in who’s bound to get scammed out of a fortune by a woman sooner or later. Of course, you’re skinny, but you’re heading for the tragic fate of most shut-ins.”

”You sort of crave an intimate relationship, but you’re also instinctively afraid of it.”

”If a green tea bitch came along, she could probably play you like Tom the cat.”

[To sum it up in one sentence, he’s a pure and innocent Xiaochu Nan.]

[He should level up his game first.]

[He needs a yandere girl to sort him out.]

[It doesn’t have to be that complicated, just find a college girl.]

”Since you’re going to splash cash on a woman sooner or later anyway, why not take the initiative and find one you actually like first?”

Zhang Zhe helped the bro broaden his perspective:

”Aren’t you still hung up on the cosplay scene? Then go for it.”

”But don’t look for a wife. No one in that circle is suitable to be your wife. Just go find a Contracted Beast.”

”Remember to check the going rates. Don’t even consider anyone who asks for more than 30,000 Spirit Stones a month.”

”Ah, this...” The young man’s tone was full of confusion.

He was very hesitant. ”I feel like what you’re saying makes sense, Brother Zhang, but I’m not sure how to actually do it.”

”I do have the money, but... how do I spend it?”

”Don’t ask me that,” Zhang Zhe said, quickly waving his hands. ”It’s generous enough of me to give you the idea. You don’t expect me to hold your hand and teach you how to spend the money, do you?”

”Besides, I don’t have any experience in that area.”

”Really?” The young man was skeptical. ”But I feel like you know everything, Brother Zhang.”

”That’s what my friend taught me.”

”I honestly don’t know how buying a girl a few outfits makes her willingly become your girlfriend.”

”You should just go spend the money and make your own mistakes. You’re still young and have a high tolerance for error. Just be careful and practice safe hygiene.”

[Details: practice safe hygiene.]

[Brother Zhang won’t do it, but I can teach you! Where in Yangcheng are you?]

[Just be generous with your money. The women will smell it and come flocking.]

[There are a lot of girls in Yangcheng who cosplay. I know several myself.]

[It’s hard to imagine what Brother Zhang has been through.]

”Alright, bro, that’s all I can say.”

”Do you have any other questions?”

”Yes, I have one last question,” the young man replied quickly. ”I want to ask, Brother Zhang, for a boring person like me, is it easy to get cheated on after getting married?”

”Wrong. Getting cheated on has nothing to do with whether you’re interesting or not.”

”It has to do with the person you choose.”

”I don’t think you need to worry about that kind of problem right now,” Zhang Zhe said, comforting the bro. ”If you go date a girl from the cosplay scene, getting cheated on is just a matter of time.”

”Once you’ve been cheated on, you’ll understand that it’s all on the woman.”

”Okay, I get it,” the young man said, based on his own understanding. ”It seems you’ve never been cheated on, Brother Zhang, so you don’t have experience in that area.”

”It’s like how you’ve ’sparred’ in the cosplay scene before, which is why you understand girls who cosplay so well.”

”I have not! Don’t talk nonsense! I’ll sue you for slander!”

Zhang Zhe issued a triple denial, but the young man didn’t give him a chance and just disconnected.

[This guy is so cheeky.]

[The streamer is actually getting flustered. He must’ve hit the nail on the head.]

[This guy still has a long road ahead of him. Maybe in a while, we’ll get to see some drama about him from the cosplay scene.]

[Brother Zhang is right, the guy really should get more experience. Next time he gets caught at an ’ear-cleaning’ parlor, he can just say the streamer taught him.]

”Putting this guy’s personal situation aside.”

”Actually, I don’t recommend the men and women in my audience to look for a partner who’s deep in any ’scene.’ I won’t even get into the BDSM scene—if you know, you know. The e-sports scene is another disaster area, with the ’girlfriend transfer’ phenomenon being severe.”

”Then there’s the cycling scene, the bodybuilding scene... I’ve even heard that in the fishing scene, there are now girls fishing in their underwear. In short, it’s all a mess.”

”For people who get deep into these scenes, in the end, it all comes down to completely naked desire. Money and sex. Just those two things. Everything else is just a cover.”

”Oh, right, and as the comments mentioned, the international student scene.”

”You guys can let your imaginations run with that...”

Zhang Zhe simply guided the conversation in the comments, so that people would stop spreading rumors about him.

Discussing which scenes have girls you can’t marry was clearly more meaningful than spreading rumors.

While chatting with the comments, Zhang Zhe connected to the next audience member in the queue.

The one who came on was a girl:

”Brother Zhang, I want to state for the record, I’m an international student, but I don’t get involved in ’the scene’.”
