Livestream Matchmaking: My Intel Infinitely Refreshes

Chapter 160: Chapter 160: Blondie is the Answer

”Damn, Brother Zhang, you’re the man.”

”You have a skill like this and you didn’t tell me sooner?”

”I just learned it myself. Whether it’s actually useful is another question. You’re my first guinea pig, wanna give it a try?”

”Yeah, of course I do.”

”Alright, then come over here and have a seat.”

Zhang Zhe pointed to the gaming chair beside him and smiled faintly.

Of course, he didn’t actually know hypnosis. If he did, he’d have robbed a bank by now.

This so-called hypnosis was just a cover for using the Fantasy Pill.

He had already bought and stored 30 Fantasy Pills in his warehouse.

He had just been waiting for this pocket watch to arrive.

He would pretend it was hypnosis, but in reality, he was using a treasure from his system to help the matchmaking agency’s clients find their true desires.

Of course, this service was reserved for old friends like Hui Zi. The regular clients who only paid the 99-yuan consultation fee didn’t qualify for such a privilege.

After Hui Zi sat in the chair, Zhang Zhe reclined the backrest to a 30-degree angle, then sat down behind him.

It was a bit like he was about to wash Hui Zi’s hair.

He held up the pocket watch again.

”Alright, stare at this.”

”Follow my rhythm. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale...”

”Feeling anything?”

”Nope.” Hui Zi’s eyes were wide open, afraid he was immune to hypnosis.

”That just means you have strong willpower.”

”Come on, keep following my rhythm...”

Zhang Zhe wasn’t in a hurry to use the pill. Hypnosis had to look like hypnosis. He needed Hui Zi to relax completely, body and mind, to achieve that inner and outer tranquility you see on TV.

The pocket watch swung back and forth for about a minute.

Hui Zi finally couldn’t take it anymore, and his eyelids began to feel heavy.

This was the perfect time to use the Fantasy Pill.

Five seconds later, the illusion appeared...

Huh?

Zhang Zhe stared at the illusion that appeared before him, his mind going blank for a second.

Why was it the POV of a girl lying down?

And she was completely exposed, with nothing to cover her body.

’To actually see something like this... this is insane.’ ℯℯ𝑙.

As Zhang Zhe looked at her figure, many people came to mind. The girl in the illusion clearly didn’t look like a local. Her control over her expression was impeccable, like a certain ”teacher.”

’Wait, that perfect body... is that...’

Holy shit, Mizuki Sakura?

Zhang Zhe quickly glanced at Hui Zi’s face to see his reaction.

It was a look of pure bliss. With his facial muscles completely relaxed, a natural smile formed.

Anyone who didn’t know better would’ve thought he’d just come.

Zhang Zhe didn’t have the heart to disturb him. ’Sigh... this guy is 34, and the person he wants to marry most is an actress.’

He’s really been repressing himself.

After 10 seconds, the illusion automatically dissipated. Zhang Zhe had already put away the pocket watch and was standing to the side with a glass of water.

”Brother Hui, can you hear me?”

”I can.” Hui Zi propped himself up. His face held a look of lingering satisfaction, but he seemed to remember something and immediately put on a serious expression and nodded. ”Brother Zhang, your hypnosis is very effective.”

”I really saw the girl I want to marry.”

”Is she someone you know?”

”Yeah, but it’s impossible between us.”

”It’s okay, everyone has regrets.” Zhang Zhe put down the glass of water and patted Hui Zi’s shoulder. ”What was it about her that you found most captivating? You can use that as a starting point for your search.”

”Well, of course, it was her huge...” Hui Zi almost blurted out the truth, but he slammed the brakes just in time. ”...hugely cute personality.”

”I just like girls with gentle personalities.”

”Then does Xu Lu meet your requirements?” Zhang Zhe asked lightly.

Although he had only met Ms. Xu once, he could tell from her crop top that she was flat-chested.

This was clearly a far cry from what Hui Zi liked.

”I don’t know.” Hui Zi shook his head, his expression a bit lost. ”Brother Zhang, I’m actually fine with whatever. Marriage is just about fulfilling my duty to my family.”

”Can you do me a favor and hypnotize Xu Lu, too?”

”I want to know if she’s sincere about marrying me. If she’s genuine, then I have no problem with it.”

”I’m just afraid of being cheated again.”

As Hui Zi spoke, his tone became firm by the end.

He had completely understood that fleeting, illusory scene from just now. ’Since that’s what’s truly in my heart, then I’ll just forget it. I need to be more realistic and fulfill my duty to my family.’

”Alright, then ask her to come in.”

Zhang Zhe agreed to Hui Zi’s request because he had just discovered that Hui Zi had, at some point, transferred another 8,800 to him.

The money wasn’t actually important. What was important was that the old bro was so considerate.

Zhang Zhe had no reason not to take this job.

Soon, at Hui Zi’s urging, Xu Lu walked in.

Although she sat in the chair, her expression was a bit wary.

Zhang Zhe could understand. Any woman would be a little nervous in this situation, so he confirmed:

”Hui Zi told you everything, right?”

”He did, but I have a question.” Xu Lu cautiously raised her hand and said, ”Teacher Zhang, this hypnosis of yours... is it a deep hypnosis?”

”Because I’ve seen some types of hypnosis where they make the person unconscious, and then they can do whatever they want to them without any reaction.”

”You’ve been watching too many movies.” Zhang Zhe shook his head with a smile. ”If I were that amazing, I would’ve robbed a bank by now. I’d just have the bank manager take out gold bars and deliver them to my house. Why would I still be working as a Matchmaker?”

”That... seems to make sense.”

”Right, so just relax. There are security cameras in here, too. These days, there’s no way I’d be alone with a young woman in a room without cameras.”

”Hahaha, Teacher, you can rest assured. I’m not the type to cause trouble.” Xu Lu laughed, clearly understanding what Zhang Zhe meant.

After confirming that there were indeed cameras, she finally lay down, relieved.

The procedure was the same as before.

However, Xu Lu was clearly relaxing more slowly. Two minutes passed, and her eyes were still darting around.

Zhang Zhe was a bit exasperated. ”If you’re this resistant, I can’t hypnotize you.”

”Forget it. You should just go back with Hui Zi.”

Hearing that Zhang Zhe was giving up, Xu Lu clearly panicked for a moment, her attitude changing abruptly:

”No, no, no! I’ll focus right now. Teacher, just give me a moment.”

”Okay, one more time then. Follow me. Inhale, exhale...”

”...”

”Now, you will see the man you desire as your lifelong partner.”

”He is standing right in front of you.”

After delivering his lines, Zhang Zhe quickly looked up.

What he saw made him frown.

’Who is this guy? How does he look even cockier than me?’

Outside of the internet, it had been a long time since Zhang Zhe had seen such a quintessential ”yellow-hair” in real life. The man in the illusion had the features of a southerner, with a head of bleached-blond hair and a tattoo on his right arm.

A white string of dental floss dangled from his mouth, and his expression was defiant.

He was wearing his shoes with the heels crushed down...

’This person can’t be some actor from a movie, can he? He must be a specific person from real life.’

Zhang Zhe looked at Xu Lu’s expression.

The girl’s expression was extremely complicated, as if she was heartbroken.

When the illusion dissipated, the woman actually remained dazed for two seconds before remembering that the hypnosis might have ended.

”Teacher, I saw the man I want to marry.”

”Who was it?”

”It was him. Jin Hui.” The woman pointed outside the door and said, ”Actually, I knew even without the test. He was the first blind date my family introduced me to.”
