The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1741: Chapter 712: Artistic Healing

The person in charge of the SPA department was a woman whom Zhou Wang had never seen before.

She wore a pure white professional suit, had a neat hairstyle, and although her looks weren’t outstanding, she had a friendly smile.

Old Zhang accompanied Zhou Wang to the entrance of the SPA area and stopped there, smiling as he explained to Zhou Wang, ”According to the current regulations, the SPA area only serves annual fee members with a White Rose level card and a reservation, so I can’t enter casually. Mr. Zhou, President Lin will take care of you from here.”

”Mr. Zhou, hello, I’m Lin Qianqian. Thanks to Mr. Zhang’s trust, I’m currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of Jingwang Club and the Executive Manager of the SPA department. I’ve long looked forward to meeting you, although I originally thought I’d have to wait until the Group’s annual meeting for the chance...”

A mature woman, approximately in her thirties or forties, stepped forward at the right moment and exchanged pleasantries with Zhou Wang.

Zhou Wang, of course, didn’t mind why he could make an exception, but he detected some implied meaning from Old Zhang’s words and directly asked:

”Is this so-called reservation system a strategy of hunger marketing, or has the club’s SPA business become so successful that it can only use reservations to manage the flow?”

”Mr. Zhou, our club doesn’t need hunger marketing tactics!”

Old Zhang said with a slightly proud, bitter smile, ”If it weren’t for you and Mr. Jiang repeatedly emphasizing that the membership review standards need to be continually raised to ensure Jingwang Club’s formal membership stayed within a certain number, I’m afraid our club’s threshold would have already been broken.”

”Mr. Zhou, Mr. Zhang indeed didn’t deceive you on this point.”

Lin Qianqian also smiled slightly as she added, ”In fact, not only the SPA area is in high demand, but dining, chess, and even the cigar room often require reservation to secure a spot...”

”Is the club’s business really this booming?”

Although it was anticipated, Zhou Wang was still somewhat surprised.

”The solid foundation you laid down is strong enough, at least currently in the Beidou circle, I doubt you’d find a more upscale spot than our Jingwang Club; it has already formed a benchmark effect.”

Old Zhang didn’t mention his own efforts but lightly offered a flattering remark instead.

”You probably have some other things you want to say, don’t you?”

Zhou Wang glanced at him and spoke lightly.

”Mr. Zhou, you’re so insightful.”

Old Zhang raised his thumbs, chuckled, and said, ”I just thought, the 51st floor upstairs is also ours, but only used as the chamber headquarters, it actually is hard to fully utilize. How about you, Mr. Zhou, negotiate to also incorporate the vacant space into the club, in which case the club’s operations are bound to reach a new level.”

Zhou Wang frowned, ”Although there is indeed still plenty of vacancy on the 51st floor, connecting the upper and lower floors while ensuring connectivity and privacy is on the whole a troublesome task — wouldn’t it be better to move Wangzhou Culture up there... wait, isn’t that your original intention?”

Zhou Wang suddenly thought of something, donned a half-smile, and looked at Old Zhang.

And Old Zhang merely chuckled, wearing an expression neither admitting nor denying.

Zhou Wang couldn’t help but laugh.

In the earliest time, since Zhou Wang only secured the 50th floor of Jingcheng Building, he initially thought then, after all, it was a whole floor of office space, sufficient enough to simultaneously accommodate both the club and Wangzhou Culture’s Beidou Branch.

Unexpectedly, both expansions exceeded forecasts; neither the club nor the Beidou Branch was suitably cramped together anymore.

But Old Zhang couldn’t say this because he might offend Wangzhou Culture’s people, especially Zhou Wang previously heard from Huang Duming, who helped oversee Beidou affairs for him, mentioned that the club’s manager Old Zhang and the current Beidou Branch’s leader had longstanding discord.

Since it had reached the level for formal reporting, it indicates the grudges between them are most likely already irreconcilable—

But as for Old Zhang’s knack for handling situations and slick personality, Zhou Wang always had doubts about how he could end up in such a state with the Beidou Branch’s leader.

At the moment, Zhou Wang had a vague guess.

But undoubtedly, as an upper echelon figure, Old Zhang’s stance indeed made Zhou Wang feel a bit more reassured.

He didn’t dwell on whether this is a survival method Old Zhang adheres to, but instead, upon realizing the coherence in Old Zhang’s original suggestion for him to have a SPA, up to the methodical proposal for the club’s expansion request...

This old fox.

However, Zhou Wang wasn’t repulsed; thus, he shook his head with a soft laugh, ”Alright, if the facts are indeed as you say, I will coordinate on this matter, you prepare a formal report to the Group, and I’ll inform Mr. Jiang in advance.”

”Thank you, Mr. Zhou.”

”Don’t rush to thank, since you all look confident, I’m keen to see the quality of the SPA after your restructuring. If it makes me feel it’s not up to the name, then don’t bring up the expansion matter anymore.”

Zhou Wang said lightly.

”Then President Lin, I leave everything to you, Mr. Zhou, I’ll have someone bring you clothes right away.”

Old Zhang bade farewell and left, while Lin Qianqian smiled as she led Zhou Wang inside.

Accompanying all the way to the room, Lin Qianqian didn’t waste the walking time, continuously introducing her business philosophy to Zhou Wang along the way, not devoid of mixing in some personal touches, yet Zhou Wang didn’t show impatience, merely listening quietly.

From the small Wangzhou Culture in Ming City at the start, till the now fledgling Wangzhou Group — Zhou Wang’s strides are rapid and swift, although till this moment there haven’t been significant issues in the Group’s operations, personnel side does present some hidden risks, just like...

From the Group to various branch companies’ executives, except for acquaintances like Jiang Qingkui, Qi Jiayi, Zhou Wang actually doesn’t know most of them well.
