The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1443: Chapter 566: The Great Wisdom of Small People

Opening the map search and using the current location of the two as the center point, searching for the keyword ”bar” within a kilometer radius reveals the map densely packed with white dots.

This is the business district of Futian CBD, where more than half of Futian District’s renowned bars and nightclubs are concentrated.

Coincidentally, the bar where Zhou Wang and Qu Peining are standing at the entrance is Boomshake.

Yes, the internet-famous nightclub where he owns shares, Boomshake.

Perhaps subconsciously he also intended to come and have a look to see the business situation of the BSK Peng City Store, so Zhou Wang brought Qu Peining directly here.

Zhou Wang vaguely remembers seeing a congratulatory message in the BSK shareholders’ group not long ago, saying that by September this year, BSK’s overseas branch had already opened in Bangkok, the second Southeast Asia branch after Kuala Lumpur, with extremely booming business.

An interesting fact is...

Although for most BSK shareholders, shares in this nightclub brand are just one of their listed industries, in terms of earning power, it is likely to be the most valuable asset they own.

But Zhou Wang is different.

With 22.6% of BSK shares, although he is the largest shareholder of this brand, BSK’s profits are simply one of the less noticeable assets among the numerous assets he owns.

Speaking of this, Zhou Wang is indeed looking forward to the beginning of next year.

By around March next year, most of the investments under his name will welcome the first stock dividends, and if nothing unexpected occurs, Zhou Wang’s cash flow will reach a peak.

Just a BSK, looking at the current financial report, although it is still in a steady expansion phase, the distributable portion of the profits alone is very likely to bring him nine-figure income.

No wonder most shareholders treat BSK as a ”hot bun.”

The BSK here has a relatively consistent decor style with the Hang City Store and Magic City Store; the exterior has a green, white, and purple color scheme, flashing conspicuous lights in the night. Many trendy men and women gather at the entrance; business seems good.

With Qu Peining’s consent... well, she should’ve agreed, although her subtle expression didn’t quite suggest it, Zhou Wang reckoned he saw her nod.

So Zhou Wang led her towards the entrance.

There was quite a crowd queuing to get in, but there was an inconspicuous VIP entrance beside them, and Zhou Wang naturally led Qu Peining there.

However, upon approaching the entrance, they were stopped by security.

At this moment, Zhou Wang remembered that although he was a shareholder, he seemed not to have registered for BSK’s VIP; Luo Meiling seemed to have given him a director card, but he didn’t know where he had tossed it. In the previous visits to BSK stores, he didn’t need to verify his identity either...

He didn’t contact anyone beforehand when coming here. He couldn’t just inform the sharp-eyed security guard, ”I’m the major shareholder, move aside for me?”

As Zhou Wang felt amused, considering whether to just forget it and queue up honestly, suddenly accompanied by the sound of small steps, a young man, about in his early twenties with tacky dyed yellow hair, ran over.

”Hello, hello, do you have a reservation? If not, should I take you inside?”

Zhou Wang glanced at the youth, noting the imitation Nike shoes, simple yet fashionable but also cheap attire, and he immediately understood.

”Marketing?”

”Yes, sir, my name is Xiao Bo, my colleagues also call me Pineapple, I’m the salesman here...”

The young man nodded repeatedly, smiling ingratiatingly.

”You can take us inside from here?”

Zhou Wang asked with a smile, ”But I just want to take a look inside, not necessarily making a reservation.”

”No problem, sir, whether you consume or not is fine, I’ll take you inside first to have a look, the atmosphere in BSK is really good!”

Xiao Bo waved his hand repeatedly, then without waiting for Zhou Wang’s answer, he ran ahead to communicate with the security guard. It was unclear what he said, but his obsequious gestures were quite amusing, and after a while, he ran back.

”All set... Sir, follow me.”

Xiao Bo seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, apparently the communication process wasn’t easy.

This time Zhou Wang probably judged his level.

Indeed, there are different levels in bar marketing.

The most abundant are those like Xiao Bo, with almost no base salary, only earning on performance commission, living a precarious life, always ready to switch to the next bar to repeat another day of aimless drift.

Following Xiao Bo into the VIP entrance, turning around several sound-effective corridors and lifting a curtain, the noise rushes over.

Laughter, music, screams, and figures gyrating near the DJ stand...

For Qu Peining, these scenes could be described as ”peculiar,” inundating her mind, momentarily freezing her in place, giving rise to the urge to turn and flee.

She’s not afraid of bullets and gunfire, but the scenes ahead only glimpsed in TV dramas suddenly ignited a sense of fear.

After walking a few steps, Zhou Wang noticed Qu Peining had vanished, looking back puzzled, he saw her standing stiffly in place, with a mere thought, he understood what was happening.

So Zhou Wang withdrew, approached and whispered amusingly, ”You’ve never been to such a place?”

”No.”

”Don’t worry, it’s not as scary as it seems, in this era, it’s merely a common way of relaxation for most young people.”

Zhou Wang smiled, ”Life has no outcome, only processes. What should be experienced should be tried, right?”
