The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 298: Chapter 166 ”Truth” (Requesting Monthly Votes)

The bright moonlight poured into the courtyard, where a group of men and women gathered around a stone table, ready to use games to enhance their drinking enjoyment.

Su Yajing and Shen Yutong were the most excited, while Su Man wanted to refuse. But in her slightly tipsy state, she couldn’t resist Su Yajing’s pleading, so she reluctantly agreed.

As for Miao Ying... she didn’t have a say.

When it came to choosing a game to play, everyone was a bit indecisive.

The dilemma was mainly because of Su Man and Miao Ying, who had almost never been to a bar and practically knew nothing about the games.

Even the simplest game of bullshitting was something they only partially understood.

In the end, at Su Yajing’s suggestion, everyone decided to play the simplest game that required no learning...

Truth or Dare.

It was not the same version as the one played with Zhou Wang and Sun Xining in KTV, but rather a more traditional one where the loser could choose either ”Truth” or ”Dare,” or opt to drink instead.

The penalty drink was one cup, but the cup was a square tumbler that, when filled from a 330-milliliter beer bottle, could hold about two cups.

This meant drinking about half a bottle in one go.

Originally, Su Yajing suggested half a cup, but Shen Yutong thought that was too little and would make everyone choose to avoid the game penalty, so they decided on a full cup instead.

With five people and six cards, in addition to the four number cards dealt to players, there was one face-down number card on the table, which was the King’s own number, but the King couldn’t see it.

So in this game, the King could also end up tricking themselves, which was one of the fun parts of the game...

The game began, and Su Man was the first blind drawer to become the King card.

Having never played such a game before, Su Man seemed a bit at a loss, not knowing what sort of penalty to impose. After another explanation from Su Yajing, Su Man hesitated before saying,

”Then... number 1 answer a question.”

”Aunt, you need to make it clear whether it’s just one question anyone asks or one question from everyone.”

”Huh?” Without realizing the difference, Su Man instinctively replied, ”Everyone, I guess...”

”Hehe, Aunt, you’ve been tricked!”

Having sneaked a peek at the card on the table earlier, Su Yajing mischievously revealed the Ace of Hearts card.

Su Man, though surprised, didn’t seem to realize the gravity of the situation at the moment, so she nodded, ”Alright, I accept the challenge, Ranran, go ahead and ask.”

”Um, Aunt, my question is... when was your first time in life?”

Su Yajing blinked, her cheeks slightly flushed from the alcohol, yet there was a hint of excitement in her smile.

”...”

Su Man’s mouth slightly opened, utterly shocked by the intensity of her niece’s first question; or rather, she simply had no concept of the game’s ”limit.”

Faced with the other three at the table all staring at her, Su Man, feeling unable to hide her embarrassment, chided,

”Cheeky girl, how can you ask your aunt such a question? I refuse to answer, pick another one!”

”Aunt, you can’t do that. ’Truth’ requires delving into secrets you wouldn’t normally tell, otherwise how can it be called truth?”

Shen Yutong chuckled and said, ”If you don’t answer, you’ll have to drink!”

With that, Shen Yutong began pouring a drink for Su Man.

Looking at the large cup, Su Man couldn’t help but twitch.

She could handle alcohol fairly well, having already consumed a cocktail and several beers prior. But another drink might really tip her over.

After some internal debate, Su Man chose to answer the question. Recalling something, her face turned redder, and she hesitantly replied,

”It was... when I graduated from high school, I think.”

”Wow!”

Su Man’s answer elicited a gasp from Su Yajing, who knew her aunt best, as the answer was completely unexpected.

At this moment, Shen Yutong, equally excited, followed up with another question, ”So Aunt, who was your first time with?”

”...Do I really have to go into that much detail?” Su Man was starting to feel overwhelmed.

”Not really, but that was Ranran’s question, and now it’s my question, so it’s different.”

Shen Yutong giggled.

It was only then that Su Man realized that ”answering everyone’s questions” meant just that...

Although somewhat annoyed, Su Man wasn’t someone who couldn’t take a joke. Having already embarrassed herself in front of Su Yajing, she accepted it more freely, gaining a novel experience through it all.

Even though these youngsters may play it wild, there was indeed something interesting about it... certainly better than just drinking.

”Of course, it was my first boyfriend, who else could it have been?” Su Man replied with mock annoyance, glaring at Shen Yutong.

”Zhou Wang, it’s your turn to ask!” Shen Yutong, unaffected, simply smiled and looked at Zhou Wang, who had been observing silently.

Faced with Zhou Wang’s thoughtful gaze, Su Man felt an unexplainable tension. Her nerves were driven by the mischievous precedent set by Su Yajing and Shen Yutong, fearing Zhou Wang might pose an even more embarrassing question.

”Aunt, how many times have you been in love?”

Hearing Zhou Wang’s question, Su Man immediately relaxed and, without hesitation, cheerfully answered, ”Only three times in total.”

”Ugh, boring!”

By the side, Shen Yutong and Su Yajing were predictably disappointed, thrown off by Zhou Wang’s sudden seriousness.

Only Su Man sensed Zhou Wang’s goodwill. Although she answered the question, she still cheerfully raised her glass and downed the full cup of beer in one go.
