The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 283: Chapter 163: Harmonious Prefecture Continental, Sunshine on the Golden Mountain!

Zhou Wang and Su Yajing returned to the lobby on the first floor, where Su Man was checking accounts behind the counter, and Shen Yutong and Miao Ying were also waiting.

”How’s your mom?”

Seeing the two enter, Su Man looked up and asked.

”She’s doing well, she was just lucid for a while, but it’s unclear if she will remember my brother next time...”

Su Yajing started with a smile, but then seemed a bit down.

Su Man pursed her lips, not saying much on the topic, and instead turned to Zhou Wang, ”Did you book a hotel in advance for your visit to Li City?”

”Right, I forgot to ask my brother just now.”

Prompted by Su Man, Su Yajing looked frustrated and quickly turned to Zhou Wang, ”Brother, the inn’s rooms are all booked tonight...”

”I didn’t book, but don’t worry, I’ve contacted some acquaintances to make arrangements, someone should be coming to pick me up soon.”

Zhou Wang shook his head and smiled reassuringly at Su Yajing.

”Acquaintance?”

Su Man raised an eyebrow, unable to resist saying, ”Zhou Wang, is this acquaintance reliable? It’s the peak tourist season, and getting a good hotel at the last minute is almost impossible, be careful not to get scammed...”

”I don’t think it will come to that. Even though we’re not that close, it’s not a big deal financially, there’s no reason for him to scam me here.”

Zhou Wang waved off her concern, not giving it much thought.

”How about...”

Su Man glanced at Zhou Wang and then at Miao Ying, hesitating when Zhou Wang’s phone rang.

He glanced at the number, saw it was a local Li City number, and immediately understood. Smiling at Su Yajing, who was still holding his hand, he suggested, ”I think they’re here.”

Zhou Wang answered the call and talked briefly, then nodded slightly at Su Man, ”Aunt, sorry for disturbing you tonight, dinner was great. I’m heading to the hotel to rest now.”

Saying this, Zhou Wang beckoned for Miao Ying to head outside with him.

Su Yajing hesitated before following, with Shen Yutong trailing silently behind. Su Man thought for a moment before putting down her ledger and walking them to the inn’s entrance.

At the street corner, Zhou Wang glanced at Su Yajing, whose expression was a bit pitiful; he sensed what she was thinking and simply said with a smile, ”I wish I could take you along, but your aunt surely would not agree...”

Su Yajing knew it was unrealistic to spend the night with Zhou Wang, so she just pouted, ”Brother, tomorrow I’ll come find you as soon as I wake up, and then I’ll accompany you to have fun, alright?”

”Of course, we should! Last time I came to Li City, it was too rushed, couldn’t fully enjoy it, this time we must have a round of thorough fun.”

Zhou Wang nodded at the suggestion.

Beside them, Shen Yutong twitched her mouth; not long ago, Su Yajing had told her she had to stay at the inn to help for the next couple of days and had no time to accompany her...

Did she have to be so obviously double-standard?

”Tongtong, you’ll get up early with me tomorrow, you take longer to do your makeup, we can’t let brother wait too long...”

Suddenly, Su Yajing turned and said to her smilingly.

”Ah, me... am I going too?”

Caught off guard, Shen Yutong stammered.

”Don’t you want to go?” Zhou Wang interjected curiously, ”I heard from Ranran earlier that you’ve been staying at the inn these past days, don’t you want to go out and look around?”

”I... well, alright, I’ll go with you.”

Of course, Shen Yutong wanted to; she initially assumed Su Yajing intended to have some private time with Zhou Wang, which is why she had subconsciously excluded herself from the plan.

Now knowing that it was the three of them instead, Shen Yutong didn’t find any resistance in her thoughts and even... felt more excited about it, oddly enough.

At this moment, two sightseeing vehicles approached from the opposite side of the street and pulled up in front of the guesthouse entrance.

Motor vehicles are prohibited in the Ancient City District, apart from the most conventional walking option, the only transport choices were bicycles and sightseeing vehicles.

Nevertheless, sightseeing vehicles usually follow fixed routes, and the two before them were clearly private hotel ones.

Su Man’s gaze sharpened upon seeing the ”He Fu Intercontinental” sign on the sight-seeing vehicle.

In addition to the drivers, there was a tall man in a suit and two young men who seemed like attendants.

The suited man got off and approached with a smile, ”Excuse me, who’s Mr. Zhou Wang?”

”Hello, that’s me.” Zhou Wang stepped forward.

”Mr. Zhou, hello, I am Wu Lei, appointed as your personal guide by Xinghui Travel. During your stay in Li City, I can handle everything related to dining, accommodation, and travel—anything you need.”

Despite having a somewhat fierce look, with dark skin, Wu Lei’s smile was surprisingly amicable.

Hearing the name ”Xinghui Travel,” Su Man paused in surprise. As the tourist capital, Li City has no fewer than a hundred local tourism companies and agencies; Xinghui Travel is undoubtedly a leader among them...

Wu Lei pointed to the sightseeing vehicles behind him.

”Mr. Zhou, for tonight, your accommodation is arranged at Li City’s He Fu Intercontinental Resort Hotel, part of the Intercontinental Group and the only international five-star hotel in the Ancient City District. Does it satisfy your requirements?”

”No trouble at all, I’m very satisfied.”

Being accommodated in a five-star hotel, and within the ancient city, Zhou Wang naturally had no complaints and immediately nodded with a smile.

”Well then, Mr. Zhou, should we set off now?”

Wu Lei asked politely again, ”Do you have any luggage that needs transporting?”

”Nothing significant, let’s head out now... Ying Tao.”

Zhou Wang called out, then got on the first sightseeing vehicle with Miao Ying.
