The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 267: Chapter 158: The Vastness of the World

Actually, it was supposed to be like this.

Even if you really had to play the punishment game, it’s fine as long as you get by.

Like, Sun Xining could just press a lipstick mark on it or touch it lightly at the right angle, and nobody would really fuss about it.

When guys and girls are together, sometimes it’s not about the game, it’s about the flirty atmosphere.

But Zhou Wang didn’t expect Sun Xining to go all out and just kiss him right there.

Yes, kiss.

Being taken advantage of in such a public setting left Zhou Wang a little overwhelmed.

But that wasn’t even the main point.

The main point was that Zhou Wang knew Sun Xining wasn’t the one who was really supposed to be punished, the real person with the number 1 card was the short-haired girl sitting next to her.

Zhou Wang wasn’t cheating, he had already deduced from the girl’s change in expression when the ”King” announced the punishment game that she had drawn the number 1 card.

Why else do you think Zhou Wang picked up the bottle without saying a word?

He wasn’t thirsty, he was just worried that if the short-haired girl couldn’t understand the game, he’d be in big trouble...

Although he didn’t know how Sun Xining persuaded that girl to trade the cards with her, Zhou Wang, being thoughtful, couldn’t bring himself to expose her.

Really, what could Sun Xining have against him?

She just wanted to take on everything for her best friend.

Once Sun Xining completed her masterpiece and amidst all the hooting and cheering, she then ”shyly” snuggled into Zhou Wang, covering her face and hiding behind him...

This rubbing and bumping, combined with Sun Xining’s pretty face, most guys would probably get really into it.

But Zhou Wang was fine, at least his head stayed clear.

He just thought it was quite interesting how this past month he’d interacted with a fair share of girls, but never one so bluntly flirtatious.

It was... quite amusing.

After several rounds of games, not much alcohol was consumed, but the atmosphere certainly heated up.

Gradually though, Zhou Wang started to feel a bit overwhelmed.

After all, not all the girls in the circle were close friends of Sun Xining, and they couldn’t always let her have the number card.

Zhou Wang seriously suspected some of them might be cheating, because he got picked way too often...

But he couldn’t just down drinks every time it was his turn to interact with a different girl, could he?

That’d be too obvious.

So, after getting mildly taken advantage of a few times by other girls, Zhou Wang found an excuse to sing a couple of songs to finally escape the ”Daughter Country” temporarily.

It’s worth mentioning, after receiving a copy of the Piano Skill Book through [Jiang Mo’s Soul Greeting Card], Zhou Wang felt a slight improvement in his wild singing talent, barely reaching the level of a singer at a street market.

But it’s hard to tell if everyone was just humoring him, at least the response in the room was decent, with many guys and girls humming along to his rendition of ”Unknown Person”...

Later in the night, the guys in the room started pouring their hearts out once the alcohol took hold, but most still didn’t take the initiative to chat with Zhou Wang or ask for his WeChat.

These fresh college graduates mostly retained a healthy ”the world is my oyster” mentality.

An old buddy, Ji, who was half-drunk, shook his head disdainfully while hugging Zhou Wang, ”If I were them, I’d definitely seize this moment to bond with you. Who knows what could change? Where else will they find a chance later to get to know a billionaire? Youthful ignorance...”

Zhou Wang chuckled, ”Says the guy acting like he’s some wise old sage.”

Zhou Wang wasn’t really that contemplative though, he was just thinking how these post-graduation reunions didn’t hold much meaning, it was all relative anyway...

So he decided to continue playing games with the girls.

This time it wasn’t any crazy games, just the good old ”Liar’s Dice.”

As time went on and those with curfews left, the room gradually thinned out.

When the clock struck one, Zhou Wang looked around and saw that both old buddy Ji on his left and Sun Xining on his right were visibly not handling their drinks well. He figured it was about time to call it a night, so he let Ji know they should wrap things up.

Zhou Wang got up to use the restroom but found the one in their room occupied, so he opted for the public restroom outside.

Everyone knows that finding a restroom in a KTV isn’t hard, but getting back can be tricky.

Anyway, Zhou Wang got himself quite turned around, but then he saw Sun Xining beckoning him from the door of a private room.

Zhou Wang walked over, puzzled as to why this room didn’t seem like theirs and it was dark inside, but Sun Xining had already pulled him in.

Click!

The private room door shut, cutting off most of the light, with only a sliver from the hallway shining through the narrow glass in the door, illuminating a small patch of the dim space.

It was a small room, likely not cleaned yet since the last guests had just left, with a mess still scattered about, empty bottles and fruit plates on the table.

But none of that mattered to the two people inside.

Sun Xining flung herself on him, and Zhou Wang had little choice but to catch her as they fell onto the sofa, Sun Xining’s weight resting fully on him.

As their eyes met, Zhou Wang was taken aback, sensing something was off.

Because normally, a short skirt goes with safety shorts.

”Hehe, I took them off earlier.”

As if knowing what Zhou Wang was wondering, Sun Xining whispered softly in his ear, and before Zhou Wang could react, she had already wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in for a kiss.
