My Cards are Infinitely Refreshed

34: C-grade contractsDue to their authority, Xiu Qingshan and Shen Yuanhu received the final assessment results earlier than Shi Li.

In the final ranking of the third-year high school group, Shi Li ranked 93rd with 9 floors.

The actual scores from 94th to 105th place were all on the 9th floor, and even the number of enemies eliminated was the same.

The main reason he was able to rank ahead of these people was due to another bonus item: Card Game Time.

Because of the Red Blade Maiden’s powerful output ability, his card games were indeed much faster than others.

The genius under Shen Yuanhu, however, was 68th, significantly ahead of Shi Li in rank.

But the problem was that his actual score was only on the 13th floor!

The score difference between the two clearly did not meet Shen Yuanhu’s winning conditions.

”The final results are out, you have nothing more to say, do you?”

Director Hou was in a great mood at this moment.

...

Shen Yuanhu remained silent, his brows slightly furrowed.

The facts were laid out before him; he could no longer disbelieve them.

”Stop talking so much, hand over the wager.”

At Xiu Qingshan’s urging, Shen Yuanhu reluctantly handed over 1 Token Card.

According to the distance between Durian City and Huadu, current logistics channels only require 2 hours for delivery.

After personally confirming that the express package had been signed for by the logistics robot, Xiu Qingshan decisively hung up the phone.

”That kid, he sure hangs up fast.”

Shen Yuanhu grumbled, looking at the black screen.

”But then again, what kind of deck does that Shi Li have?”

Curious, he clicked on the replay.

However, when he found Shi Li’s name, the information displayed made him dumbfounded on the spot.

[Shi Li, C-Level Contract, Gold 3 Tier.]

”You good-for-nothing Xiu Qingshan!”

Only then did he realize that the other party was as dirty as he was!

”I knew it, how could Gold 1 beat the 9th floor? But even Gold 3 beating the 9th floor is tough.

This kid has potential.”

Shen Yuanhu was not stingy with the praise he felt was due.

But when he looked at the deck, he was dumbfounded again.

”A Unique Character Card with a Characteristic?! The Red Blade Maiden?!”

Although he had never done the Crimson Blade quest himself, it didn’t prevent him from knowing the corresponding card name.

The appearance of the Red Blade Maiden indicated that all her Token Cards had self-destructed.

So, Xiu Qingshan played a trick on him, pulling off a scam?

”Never mind, it’s just 1 Token Card anyway, even if he gets it, it’s useless.

Is it possible for him to clear it with just one card? That’s absolutely impossible, haha.”

Shen Yuanhu ultimately didn’t take it too seriously.

He didn’t know that Xiu Qingshan had a similar mindset back then.

As for Xiu Qingshan, he called Director Hou into his office.

”The Curator truly has a unique vision! Shi Li actually managed to enter the top hundred geniuses of the third-year high school group in the entire Card Hall with only Gold 3!

Before, I was worried he would be discouraged by poor results, but now it seems I was truly short-sighted!”

As soon as Director Hou sat down, he started with flattery.

But the more genuine the flattery, the more satisfying it was to hear.

He was speaking from the heart.

Having worked at the Show Card Hall for so many years, Director Hou had certainly handled geniuses who entered the top hundred.

But he had never seen anyone with such a low tier make it into the top hundred.

Usually, with a bit of luck, one would need at least Gold 5 to achieve such a ranking.

It’s important to know that Gold 5 is the peak of Gold, with a world of difference in combat power compared to Gold 1-4.

”Have the ranking rewards for this assessment been distributed?”

Xiu Qingshan was in a very cheerful mood today.

That bald guy wanted to come and show off and Taunt, but he ended up getting slapped in the face.

Winning what wasn’t important at all; the only important thing was simply winning.

”The bonus is issued by the main Card Hall, but I just had the finance department check, and it’s already in the account.”

”No, I’m not referring to that.”

Xiu Qingshan shook his head.

Director Hou, having navigated the workplace for so many years, naturally possessed good comprehension.

”Only one person from our city’s Card Hall participated in the contract assessment this time, and Shi Li’s assessment score ranked first among participants of the same-level contract.

From a formal business perspective, I believe it is appropriate to issue the first-place ranking reward for the C-Level Contract.”

He immediately stated in a serious tone.

Shi Li participated in the contract assessment, and according to regulations, participating in a contract assessment comes with a ranking.

In the past, one ranking reward from the main Card Hall would have been enough, and their local Card Hall wouldn’t add any more ranking rewards.

However, from the perspective of the Card Hall system, even if the local Card Hall added more, it wouldn’t be a violation.

”Approved.”

Xiu Qingshan finally nodded with satisfaction.

So, as soon as Shi Li walked out of the cube cabin, he was greeted with a smiling face by Director Hou.

”Congratulations, you are now on a C-Level Contract.”

Next, he introduced Shi Li to the contents of the C-Level Contract.

While the D+ Grade Contract offers significantly better benefits than the D-Grade, the leap from D+ Grade to C-Level is even more substantial.

After all, there’s a major tier difference between the two.

D+ Grade Contract to C-Level Contract: monthly cubic coins issued increases from 8000 to 12000.

All Monster Training Grounds under Show Card Hall go from 70% off to free, and material card purchases go from 90% off to 80% off.

”In addition to these basic benefits, some other new benefits will be added.

For example, a dedicated high-level cube cabin; it’s now entirely yours.”

Director Hou handed Shi Li a thumb-sized capsule.

”Capsule Cube Cabin?”

Shi Li knew that this represented one of Blue Star’s most cutting-edge technologies: capsule technology.

This technology was derived from the internal principles of cards, combining profound knowledge of space and deconstruction.

Due to the difficulty of manufacturing, it was generally a technology enjoyed by the wealthy or the upper echelons of society.

He never expected to have the opportunity to experience it himself now.

He heard that the internal storage of a capsule cube cabin alone was enough to support a normal family’s electricity for a year, and it also had a self-charging function, so there was no need to worry about running out of energy.

In the wild or in foreign lands, it could serve as an emergency shelter and backup energy source.

As for network coverage, there was even less to worry about; after all, Blue Star had already conquered capsule technology, so information transmission technology was naturally not a problem.

With this item, Shi Li could log into the internal space of the Show Card Hall from home and continue his studies.

”With it, you can enter the virtual world anytime, anywhere.”

Director Hou’s gaze held envy.

Although it could be exchanged with employee points, this item was very expensive, and he simply couldn’t bear to spend them.

With that many points, it would be better to exchange them for cards.

In fact, the capsule cube cabin was a new benefit typically only available with a B-Level Contract, but Shi Li’s was specially approved by Xiu Qingshan.

The true new benefit for a C-Level Contract was something else entirely.

”Take this.”

Director Hou pulled out another capsule...
