My Cards are Infinitely Refreshed

8: 【Red Knife Princess】Picking up the Red Blade Maiden, her projection immediately emerged from the card face.

This was a young woman with small, coral-like horns on her head.

She had a beautiful appearance, a red dress, a ponytail, and a scabbard horizontally placed on her lower back.

“please teach!”

The weapon she held was like both a sword and a knife, with a Crimson Blade that tapered from wide to narrow.

Looking at her card face again.

Red Blade Maiden

Rage, 40 points, One-star

Attack 40, 120 / 120

Tenacity - Characteristic: Red Blade Maiden possesses the Immortality effect

Abundant - Passive: Red Blade Maiden’s maximum health + 20

(Immortality: Immune to all control effects)

“It’s actually a Unique Character Card!”

When Shi Li saw this extra Characteristic, he finally understood.

No wonder this simulation mission was so difficult!

It turned out to be a Unique Character Card simulation mission!

Some Unique Character Cards would have an additional Characteristic compared to ordinary Character Cards, which was equivalent to having an extra entry.

This meant that she possessed stronger combat power.

Not to mention that Red Blade Maiden’s Characteristic was such a powerful effect as Immortality.

At the same time, Unique Character Cards also had greater potential than ordinary Character Cards.

Cube Cards are divided into seven major categories, and the Character Card entries within each major category share commonalities to a certain extent.

A specific example is that the active skill entry Double Strike on his Break Card, Thunderhorn Deer, is not exclusive; other Break Cards might also possess it.

Unique Character Cards, on the other hand, have the chance to generate unique entries exclusive to themselves.

“It’s also a Rage, which will have very strong early-game burst capabilities in the future.”

Shi Li was very satisfied with the attributes of this card, but unfortunately, it temporarily lacked active skills.

Character Cards are divided into seven categories based on how they acquire the energy needed to cast skills:

Balance Cards: All passive entries, no energy consumption

Rage: Skills consume own health

Wisdom Cards: Full energy upon revealing the card, no Charge methods

Break Cards: Gain 10 energy for every 1 attack

Persistence: Gain 15 energy for every 1 hit taken

Chasing Wind: Gain 10 energy for every 1 round passed

Listen to the Wind: Gain 20 energy for every 1 round of stillness

Among them, Rage and Wisdom Cards have the strongest early-game burst power.

“With this card, my chances in the grade Card Tournament are much greater.”

Shi Li put away the Red Blade Maiden and opened his personal card player interface.

His rank had already risen from Silver 3 to Silver 4, reaching the peak of Silver.

If he won the grade Card Tournament, he would have a chance to obtain a two-star card and directly advance to the Gold rank.

Using a Gold-rank deck to face the contract assessment a month later should significantly increase his success rate.

“Curator Xiu is a good person; what he gave me was truly a generous gift.”

He who drinks from the well should not forget those who dug it; he silently wished the other party a safe and peaceful life.

...

As a curator, Xiu Qingshan’s work was actually not busy.

Because the Show Card Hall had existed for so many years, it already had a mature system in place.

Coupled with Old He’s supervision and control, the entire Card Hall’s operation was orderly.

He only needed to review some important documents every morning; the rest was personal time.

It was nine in the morning now, and Xiu Qingshan’s work for today was already complete.

Usually, at this time, he would start managing his own deck.

For example, trying to create new entries, clearing the seven-system exclusive dungeons, clearing simulation missions, etc.

Recently, he had been attempting a simulation mission called Crimson Blade.

unique Relic Cards are not only difficult to clear but also have a limited number of uses.

That is, if a mission fails after activating 1 card, one needs to wait for the corresponding cooldown period before activating the 2nd card.

And today was the day he could challenge Crimson Blade again.

“Hmm? Where are my cards?”

However, when he opened the Relic Card card library, he was stunned.

Dozens of Crimson Blade Relic Cards had already disappeared without a trace.

“Damn it!”

The next second, he realized that someone had beaten him to it.

One must know that these dozens of Crimson Blade Relic Cards were also passed on to him by others.

So it was conceivable that he was not the only one who possessed this Relic Card.

“I don’t know which scoundrel got lucky.”

Xiu Qingshan shook his head slightly and sighed: “Never mind, it’s just a one-star Relic Card after all.”

...

For the remaining nearly two weeks, Shi Li basically spent all his time in the Monster Training Ground.

With his current academic performance, taking leave from school was not difficult.

His homeroom teacher thought the student intended to grind out a one-star Character Card before the grade Card Tournament began, so he readily approved the long leave.

After advancing to the Silver 4 rank, Shi Li’s combat power significantly increased.

He could venture into deeper areas of the training field and challenge more powerful demons.

During this period, Shi Li also learned the content of next month’s contract assessment.

The assessment content was demon hunting, and the location was within this Monster Training Ground.

The passing standard for a D-rank contract assessment was to successfully defeat 10 two-star level demons.

He briefly tried a few two-star LV1 demons and found that with his current deck strength, it was not so smooth.

Two-star demon cards have two entries, and their panel values are also higher than one-star demons.

Theoretically, having the Red Blade Maiden could also be considered a double entry, which is correct.

But the problem lies in the Immortality effect having strong targetedness, while also having limitations in its general applicability.

When the opponent has no control methods, the Immortality effect is as good as non-existent.

Therefore, Shi Li’s outcome in challenging two-star demons was not good; he even triggered the safety officer’s rescue and was severely lectured by the other party.

This made him realize that to pass next month’s contract assessment, he must advance to the Gold rank.

However, after two weeks, Shi Li was not without gains.

Under the long-term hunting, he hunted many one-star material cards.

Material cards are used to create entries for Character Cards, allowing them to be replaced.

Don’t underestimate one-star Character Cards only being able to carry 1 entry; some experienced Silver Card players often have two or three entries for a single one-star Character Card.

The advantage of this is to enrich one’s deck tactics, allowing for the selection of more favorable entries based on the real-time situation on the field before the Character Card enters play.

However, for Shi Li, enriching entries was not his primary task at the moment.

Moreover, the quality of most of the material cards hunted in these two weeks was not very good, even among one-star cards.

He chose to sell all of them, including the 3 relatively high-quality material cards issued in the first month of the D-rank contract.

Originally, the average selling price of these material cards was around 300 cubic coins, but due to the D-rank contract’s commission reduction benefit, the Card Hall offered an average price of 324 cubic coins.

After deducting the 50% discount on the training field entry fee, the final profit was close to 10,000 cubic coins.

Shi Li, dragging his tired body, returned home to rest for a night, and the next day, the grade Card Tournament arrived as scheduled.
