Pillar of Yita

Suddenly, two more people appeared on the ship, but for the crew of the Seven Seas Traveler, it didn’t have much impact. The Seven Seas Traveler was originally designed for nineteen crew members, with the quarters in the back able to accommodate sixteen people in total, while the captain and the ship’s officer had their own rooms, and the infirmary could also house one person.

In fact, under the typical shift-resting method on an airship, the Seven Seas Traveler could accommodate up to thirty-five sailors. However, with Miss Tata aboard, there was no need for so many people. This actually brought another benefit: fewer people meant the life supplies carried were correspondingly less.

Therefore, although the Seven Seas Traveler doesn’t look large, the living conditions of the crew are top-notch among airships of the same size.

However, both Walnut and Beiji from the underground hadn’t been on airships much before, so they didn’t particularly feel this, although they occasionally expressed a bit of surprise at the spacious living conditions of the Seven Seas Traveler Group.

They had heard more or less about things on airships, such as sailors living in cramped and narrow environments, sleeping on a swaying hammock, and even ranked officers like the bosun, second officer, third officer, artillery officer, and supply officer lived the same way, with just relatively more private space. But the situation on the Seven Seas Traveler was so different it almost made them think these were rumors; life here was like a reasonably conditioned inn—a four-star rank at the very least, according to Earth standards.

Especially with Miss Atira’s outstanding cooking skills; on the first day, she conquered Walnut from the underground with a bowl of Istania shad soup, which he couldn’t praise enough. Others had long been tired of fish, eating it in different ways every day, until Fang Hong felt a bit hopeless, and Tianlan pounded the table demanding a change of dish. This resulted in her getting hit by Atira’s ballistic chestnut, scaring Parker, who originally had the same thought, into silence.

Only the Big Catfolk, regardless of what the Elf Miss cooked, ate slowly as if savoring the food, displaying the elegance of a knight in every move, and after finishing, did not forget to comment on the dish’s flavor.

Others listened with bitter expressions.

But Bakins was an old sailor who had long been accustomed to the monotonous life on the Sky Sea, and the current trivial issues were nothing to him. In harsh conditions, eating rats from the ship for a week counted as a delicacy—come to think of it, he hadn’t yet seen any rats on the Seven Seas Traveler, which was rather curious.

Besides, Xiangzi seemed to turn any meal into the proverbial ”an ox chewing peonies,” treating dining almost as an obligatory task, preferring to spend time on the pair of gloves given to him by X. Those Magic Guided Gloves turned out to be Legendary Equipment called the Force Field Amplifier, which could enhance the user’s force field system spells three times a day.

The cooldown time was astonishingly long, extending to twenty-four hours, yet the effect was equally astonishing, as everyone witnessed in that battle.

Upon learning of the gloves’ effectiveness, Ai Xiaoxiao ran loudly to check the ’little gift’ X had given her, having forgotten the matter long ago. To her surprise, she found it was also Legendary Equipment—a hand crossbow usable in close combat that could shoot out a large electrified net.

Connecting it to the combat style X demonstrated when sparring with Xiangzi, Fang Hong blindly guessed X might also be similar to Xiangzi on the ’Magic Swordsman’ route, and these two pieces of equipment might have been used by X at that level.

Though Legendary Magic Guided Conductors are rare, for someone like X at that level, these items are just interesting toys. They might be worth some money, but for someone whose level has reached the peak of the First World and has visited the Second World, it’s not much.

Parker was envious to the point of his eyes turning green, learning only then that Ai Xiaoxiao and Xiangzi had helped X with a small favor beforehand. He couldn’t help but mourn not being present at that time, completely forgetting he was being hunted at the time.

On the third day after Walnut and Beiji from the underground boarded the ship, they experienced a combat.

The battle began when Luo Hao on duty noticed the reaction of the Wind Detector.

Due to both parties being hidden below the Void Canyon, the detection range of the Elemental Detector was greatly weakened by various echoes here, so when both ships emerged from behind a cliff, they almost had no time to prepare.

The ship that discovered them belonged to a guild called Flame Domain, which Walnut from the underground claimed to have seen before. It’s a moderately sized guild from the city next door to Orlenze.

Behind that airship was another belonging to a local guild. Both airships were about the same size as the Seven Seas Traveler, but with the advantage of two against one, they aggressively charged forward at the start.

But having experienced several air battles, Fang Hong wasn’t as nervous or inexperienced as when facing Oxin Silver Flame and Long Wharf initially. Though confronted with two aggressive airships approaching, he calmly ordered the Seven Seas Traveler to collide with them.
