Pillar of Yita

Fang Hong’s method is actually quite simple. He dismantled the crystal from the Dragon Hunter’s head, redesigned the linkage inside, and replaced it with the Main Core Crystal and Resonance Crystal.

The connection and transmission devices, various functional modules, and cooling systems are all below the cap, operating on the same principle as ordinary constructs.

Although there may be some unique designs to fit its original control method, these will only affect the efficiency of control after replacement—in simple terms, it will occupy more calculative power, but will not be unusable.

Fang Hong tested all kinds of movements one by one, and fortunately, they could all be implemented. The movements were slightly awkward and not as flexible as before, but they were acceptable.

At this moment, he glanced at the calculative power output, which happened to be five times that of the Energy Angel.

This calculative power requirement is about twice that of similar constructs at this level, but Fang Hong speculates that such a high calculation requirement may also be due to his change of its control method.

Simply put, the operating system is not compatible, leading to compatibility issues. Although it can run, the power consumption problem is quite serious.

After the battle in Istania, he bought a standard calculative power plugin from the Tansnier Crafting Association. Together with a few premium items he had, his calculative power slightly exceeded five hundred. If he could fully integrate it with these mechanical operations, he could control about four at the extreme state.

As for now, controlling two would be considered good.

However, now that Miss Tata has the Seven Seas Traveler, with her assistance, he is confident that he could get ten Dragon Hunters to operate at once.

It’s just that the support of the Heart of Fairy has a range limitation, so it can’t be too far from the ship, and is only useful in battles around the Seven Seas Traveler.

Fang Hong continued to explore other functions of this Dragon Hunter. In fact, after he fully controlled this construct, its data was projected upon the floating window he called out:

Laido: The first strike from the storage device, attack increased by 200%, accuracy enhanced by an additional 25. Thunder System element charging of the storage device requires one minute, core temperature rises by 22.

Magic Resistance: 50% Magic Resistance.

Demon-Breaking Bullets: Imperial Type XI—R Model Magic Guided Gun has the Demon-Breaking Attribute, ignoring spells and abilities below level VIII protection.

Calculative Power Usage: 480

Fang Hong looked at this long list of data and couldn’t help but be amazed. It turned out that the long sword used by the Dragon Hunter is called the True Ancient Sword, and the attack power of this standard Magic Guided Sword actually reached a terrifying 277-345, nearly double that of Dawn.

Dawn is the legendary dagger he crafted for the Elisa sisters, his first legendary creation. Although merely a product of its time, it is a legend after all.

Generally speaking, the attack power of the main weapon for flexible constructs at this level, even if attack-oriented, usually doesn’t exceed 180, slightly higher than Dawn, but after all, it’s thirteen levels higher, so it’s understandable.

However, not only does the Dragon Hunter’s main weapon have astonishingly high attack, but the secondary weapon, Imperial Type XI—R Model Magic Guided Gun, also achieves the level of a main weapon for standard constructs at this level, and it possesses demon-breaking capability.

Not to mention it also has another attack method, the Throwing Spear. Although only three spears are stored inside the arm armor, their attack is higher than Imperial Type XI.

Usually, if a construct’s design leans towards attack, it must have some kind of deficiency in another aspect.

Whether it’s weak protection, or clumsy movement.

But the Dragon Hunter evidently has none of these shortcomings, with defense boasting nearly two thousand block and four hundred durability, not to mention its unfathomable magic resistance.

In terms of agility, a B rating in Fang Hong’s constructs is second only to the Clockwork Fairy, and the seven hundred evasion value outshines others in close combat constructs at this level.

This is simply incredible. Fang Hong couldn’t even comprehend how it was designed—though being a sophisticated machine, he couldn’t recognize more than half of its internal functional modules, so it’s only natural.

It’s not like there are design drawings available for Type-One Crystals, or a master’s notes to refer to.

The appearance of this thing only shows that compared to a true master, he’s still just an elementary student.

But for now, he doesn’t need to understand the principles; a Combat Artisan just needs to be able to use it.

The stronger these constructs are in combat, the better it is for him right now.

As for other aspects of the Dragon Hunter, its design philosophy isn’t far from the Imperials. The core design they use is very suitable for extreme overload, capable of unleashing terrifying combat power in a short time.

During overload, the Dragon Hunter can achieve a 100% combat power increase, but the rapid rise in core temperature allows it to fight in such a state for only a few seconds.
