Pillar of Yita

The Numelin Elves can use a means of ’creating something from nothing’, directly transforming elements into simple materials, utilizing the seventh state of Ether—the Creation State. Behind the Creation State lies information and rules. So to put it plainly, this is also a kind of input and use of information.

So can this method also be used to directly create Mana Storage Crystals?

After testing, he had obtained the answer.

The answer was yes.

He suddenly realized that this method was actually not novel, because this is the basic skill of an Elementalist, injecting spells into crystals.

But what does this skill mean for an Alchemist? Upon careful thought, it seems to have little significance, merely further reducing the cost of Mana Storage Crystals and Magic Guided Constructs—because previously immutable crystals can now have their attributes modified again.

But what significance does this have for a Combat Artisan?

It seems to offer more flexibility.

But a Combat Artisan is not an Elementalist, nor can they master that many spells. The ability to change the spells stored in a Magic Guided Construct during combat sounds quite appealing. Yet upon further thought, if one had such leisure, why not become an Elementalist directly, for greater freedom and flexibility?

Why become a Combat Artisan if one needs to master so much spell knowledge? A Combat Artisan uses Magic Guided Constructs that utilize spells pre-input by numerous creators; they do not need to understand these spells themselves, only need to use them through the constructs.

But is it really meaningless?

Fang Hong suddenly had another flash of insight—

It’s the same spell.

Can these ’simulated spells’ for completing Alchemy also be engraved onto the Mana Storage Crystals like the spells of Magicians and Elementalists?

In his tests, the answer was yes as well.

For this experiment, he almost revealed his secret. Fortunately, the Alchemists were neither Magicians nor Elementalists, and could not see through his spells—neither Magic Guided Art nor Elemental Spells, but an Alchemy Array from the Numelin Era that people had never seen before.

Does this engraving have significance then?

The Alchemy Arrays left by the Numelin Elves are not just one or two. Each array corresponds to a basic character, and since the Numelin Era, the single character runes that Alchemists need to master number in the thousands.

There is no Construct in this world that can accommodate so many Mana Storage Crystals.

But Fang Hong had a vague feeling that he had grasped something.

However, it was only at this very moment that he had the opportunity to personally verify this point.

Fang Hong placed his hand on the shell of the Construct Sea Monster, silent, and first engraved the silver runes on its Mana Storage Crystals, replacing a few useless Protection Spells inside, based on his previous experiments. He drew one experimentally, then stopped. Luckily, success came on the first try this time.

Then he continued to engrave one by one, until he filled the Mana Storage Crystals of the Sea Monster.

No more, no less, a total of fifteen arrays.

After engraving the last stroke, Fang Hong withdrew his hand somewhat nervously—he took a breath, and at the same time, more than fifteen beams of light lit up from his glove, injecting instructions into different Mana Storage Crystals. He could almost sense the Construct Sea Monster absorbing Elemental Ether from the surrounding air at an incredible speed.

Countless points of light converged into the Main Crystal, then transmitted forward along countless paths.

The next moment, a dense array of light arrays appeared under this large Nautilus.

But the Ether Magic Power passed through these light arrays.

Some tiny materials formed before Fang Hong’s eyes.

And the next moment—under his manipulation, these light arrays, under the gathering of tendrils, overlaid each other. Those materials that formed like grains of sand also overlapped—forming a dark crystal in front of Fang Hong.

But this was just the first step, and he dared not delay, continuing to repeat the previous operation and rearranging the overlay order of various arrays.

Next, a simple construct appeared outside the crystal.

Then came a simple platinum shell.

Fang Hong then reached out.

The light of the array all disappeared.

The platinum spherical Construct landed steadily in his hand.

And nearby Hilveld, quietly witnessed everything that happened within this brief ten seconds.

Until the last moment, this noble girl raised her head, her sea-like eyes radiant with endless wonder, looking at her beloved. And at that moment, a thought suddenly arose in her heart—

Seemingly, she had witnessed the birth of a historical moment.
