Pillar of Yita

Everything that happened that night has already become a matter of days ago.

Afterward, Fang Hong took the time to finish reading the fourth and fifth pages of the manuscript, gaining 1 point of calculative power from each. After scouring the libraries of Tansnier, he gained further understanding of the information contained on the last page of the diagram.

In some ancient documents, he found similar texts and patterns to those on the scrolls. The scholars of the past annotated these and, after making comparisons, he read out the names of several types of materials from them:

One liter of black goat’s blood, the eye of foreseen nightmares, moonstone powder, witch’s claw, and forty-nine grains of wheat.

Facing the long list, Fang Hong was bewildered, feeling no wonder the ’Seventh Prohibition’ listed the Abyssal Sea Scroll as a banned book; this recipe was essentially a black witch’s magic potion.

But after consulting Lady Aierna, he realized he was mistaken; many of these material terms were, in fact, specialized terms in magic potion studies.

And since he did not belong to the Magic Potion School, it was naturally beyond his knowledge.

After conducting research and consulting Miss Tata, Fang Hong finally understood what these things were:

The black goat didn’t simply refer to a black goat.

Rather, it referred to the ancient belief among mountaineers that demons would mate with goats at night and give birth to offspring with demon blood on a full moon night. In those ignorant times, people believed that black goat offspring born on this day possessed unclean power that would bring disaster; therefore, they were often drowned at birth.

However, it was later proven that the magical power contained in the blood and milk of these black goat offspring born on this day was actually due to the rise and fall of the ether tide. Moreover, over time, witches and alchemists would come to the rural areas to purchase these magical creatures, and it eventually became a business.

Black goat blood is not uncommon in the alchemy materials market, but its authenticity requires an experienced eye to discern, as instances of adulteration are rife.

The second material, the eye of foreseen nightmares, sounds bizarre but is merely the eye of a nightmare. This item is indeed precious, though not rarer than the eyes from the Silver Blaze Forest.

Moonstone powder needs no explanation, and witch’s claw specifically refers to the claw of a magic raven, a creature rarely seen in other regions but commonplace at Scepter Coast.

The final material—forty-nine grains of wheat—after inadvertently learning about it from Miss Atira, Fang Hong realized this was the rarest material on the list.

Forty-nine grains of wheat refers to an ear of wheat that has forty-nine grains, no more, no less. On Earth, it might not be uncommon among high-yield wheat; however, in Eteliria, where ears of wheat and barley typically have less than thirty grains, cultivating a forty-nine-grain ear without magical means is nearly impossible.

Moreover, Fang Hong had never heard of such a material; contemporary magic potion studies would never use such strange materials, making market purchases impossible.

He could only quietly post a help request in the community while finding another way to cultivate it himself.

But to cultivate magic plants requires a dedicated magic nursery, which is currently beyond the capabilities of Mr. Greyrock’s simple nursery.

And so, after going in circles, everything led back to the construction of the Seven Seas Traveler.

The Grand Princess quickly fulfilled her promise and indeed provided them with an empty dock.

The dock was located on the west side of Tansnier, near the wharf area, a fifteen-minute carriage ride from their inn would reach it.

The dock wasn’t large, merely sixty by forty meters, half was a tall workshop, and half was an open dry dock, a small dock to be sure, but more than sufficient for constructing the Seven Seas Traveler.

As it was a royal dock, its interior was naturally luxurious beyond compare.

The dock was outfitted with a floating dragon bone base made of Guy Crystal, this new-fashioned dragon bone mount has been around for less than three years since its invention, and it hasn’t even become widespread within Colin Ishurian’s territory; Fang Hong didn’t expect to see it here.

The biggest advantage of the floating dragon bone base lies in providing extra structural strength to the keel and rib structure of a floating ship under construction, increasing structural strength by up to twenty percent.

And as everyone knows, a floating ship’s keel strength determines its overall structural strength, similar to a ship’s life points—the higher the keel strength, the thicker the life points.

For a floating ship, its enhancement is undeniable.

There are also various large-scale lifting and traction magic guided equipment with a high level of automation; although without these luxurious devices, a floating ship could still be built,

the equipment determines the assembly precision when building a ship, and the significance of assembly precision for a magic guided conductor needs no further explanation.

A so-called floating ship is merely a super-large magic guided conductor.

Fang Hong and Hilveld checked the dock and felt very satisfied.

Especially Miss Ship’s Officer, her eyes shining brightly, as if finally finding the answer to three years of toil at this moment. She softly held Fang Hong’s hand, gripping firmly to keep herself from losing composure.
