Pillar of Yita

Fang Hong had no plans to be unconventional, so the Seven Seas Traveler still primarily adopted a traditional ship design.

As for the number of ribs on the ship—it’s obvious that the more and denser the ribs, the less likely it is to ’list’ in the event of damage. Conversely, the denser the ribs, the heavier the ship itself becomes, and the ribs can only be made from Magic Oak and Blackwood, which are more expensive.

Generally speaking, main ships tend to use denser ribs, while exploration ships, patrol ships, and raider ships tend to pursue lightness, maneuverability, and speed. Considering the enemies that the ’Seven Seas Travel Group’ might face, he ultimately chose a ship type quite common among escort ships, following the suggestion of that Dwarf Artisan Master.

’Katin-Type ship.’

This type of ship looks not much different from ordinary six or seven-class ships in appearance, but it significantly increases the rib density in the central part. On one hand, it provides protection for the Lift Cabin Section located in this part, and on the other hand, it also reasonably balances self-weight, maneuverability, and speed.

Although the Wing Ship has many of these troubles and various compromises, in terms of protection, it’s still far superior to an Airship. Because it doesn’t need to protect the large ’airbag’ target, combined with its maneuverability and agility, it can itself be considered a type of Protection Attribute.

Just like the Agility Type profession among Combat Professions.

...

Lady Aierna was looking at the Royal Shipyard with shining eyes.

She turned her head somewhat in amazement and said, ”Princess actually allowed you to use her shipyard, that’s a Floating Ship Platform, I had only heard about it before? Heavens, the Hundred-Handed Giant type crane, look at this craftsmanship, and it even has the ’Emerald Bird Workshop’s emblem on it, and it’s brand new, tsk tsk, the Royal Household sure is wealthy—”

”The crane owned by the Artisan Association is still from the Lion War era—Giants Amonon—it’s older than me. I’m really worried that one day it’ll fall apart, we’ve been submitting reports requesting funding for updates every quarter without seeing any money, the guild is just too stingy.”

The Chairwoman seemed to have transformed, muttering to herself while gently stroking the crane’s base with a tender expression, as if gazing at her lover, with dollar signs in her eyes.

”And these pipes, do you see this mark,” she pointed to a silver ’L’ and said to Fang Hong, ”that’s the handiwork of the Ailin Green Family. Though they aren’t an Alchemist Family, this family’s Magic Guided Conductor is top-notch in Colin Ishurian. The labor cost to hire them isn’t cheap.”

”It would cost at least... tens of thousands of Lycel, right?”

”By the way,” Lady Giant Spirit turned back to him and asked, ”do you know about the Ailin Green Family? Last time I told you about the history of the Emerald Bird Workshop and the origin of the Westwood Sibika family, but I don’t think I mentioned the Magic Guided Conductor families in the Kingdom.”

Fang Hong couldn’t help but glance at Kalatu, Hilveld was smiling sweetly on the side—it was last time when he went to help this lady study the Fairy Master, she suddenly got inspired and insisted on telling him about the history of the various Alchemist Families in the Kingdom.

And called it a knowledge exchange.

But Hilveld happened to be there, the Chairwoman boasted about the Rose Workshop, making him so embarrassed that he almost wanted to leave several times. Fortunately, Miss Ship’s Officer was very understanding and didn’t expose her ’nonsense’ from start to finish.

Then Lady Aierna, using the exact same routine, re-narrated the Emerald Bird Workshop and added—if only I had that much money.

Though she actually spoke quite a bit about the secrets of Alchemists in her conversations, but the style of discussion was so unbelievable, that she could be the Chairwoman of a local crafts guild.

Just as now, she started boasting again about how incredibly wealthy the Ailin Green Family was, swearing and vowing: ”Speaking of which, you may not know, but the eighth Family Head of Ailin Green almost planned to buy the Dwarves’ Sanctified Forge Hall.”

”But fortunately, His Majesty the King stopped this crazy idea.”

The Papalarians, who had been kicked out of the inn not long ago for mistaking a decorative crocodile for a ’ghostly creature’ and now could only stay at the shipyard, were wide-eyed and incredulously asked: ”Lady Roman, are they really that rich!?”

”Of course,” Lady Aierna answered seriously: ”Would I, as the Chairwoman of the Tansnier Crafting Association, lie to you?”

Parker quickly rolled his pitch-black eyeballs, seemingly coming up with some new ideas.

Only Fang Hong sighed, ”Lady Aierna, last time you said it was the seventh Family Head.”

Lady Giant Spirit exclaimed in surprise: ”Is that so, maybe I remembered wrong?”

”But last time the main character was from the Westwood Sibika Family.”

The surrounding fell into an immediate silence.

Aierna looked around embarrassedly and replied:

”Be-because nobles seem to be interested in the Sanctified Forge Hall... Actually, I’ve heard that there’s Mithril and Mithril everywhere, and countless gems buried in the rocks, Ade, you don’t think I’m just making stuff up, do you?”

”Not at all, Lady Aierna,” Fang Hong shook his head: ”It’s just that the seventh Family Head of the Westwood Sibika Family and the eighth Family Head of the Ailin Green Family coincidentally have the same name, both called Count Hali.”
